I've just started playing on the Dayz Chain server. They've modded the map slightly and tweaked one or two aspects but the loot feels about right on the server. They also have a pretty solid bartering system with traders at Green Mountain using vodka and cigarettes as currency. I think they also have various types of organisation with the server/discord. Maybe worth your while checking out, as you mentioned a while back about some of these aspects.

Careful with fruit off the ground though. Make sure it isn't rotten. Once or twice I've nearly eaten rotten fruit when I've been in a rush! -
True. Cars are very handy for base building of you're in a remote location. I don't build bases so I don't really find much use for cars. I guess I've been pretty lucky with cars. Never had a flying one yet. Trucks seem pretty resilient though. Crashed a few and they didn't seem to take any damage!

For sure it's buggy as hell, but really the main issue I have with it right now is that it can be a bit stuttery in big cities. Still probably in the best state its been in on the whole. I've certainly had my moneys worth when you tot the hours up.

You need to sharpen the stick first. Also, you don't need to use a stick if you are using a fireplace in a building. There are slots for cooking and for smoking. -

Why don't you both just play on Boosted servers with complete cast spawns of you're finding it so difficult?

I'm not actually sure you can get infected from dirty rags. You certainly used to, but I haven't sterilised rags in a long time and never had infection. I wonder if this is either a small chance or just taken out. -
Dayz is in the best state its ever been. It used to run like shit. Pc players complaining about lost content make me laugh, because the content is still there on pc. The only people in denial about that are a handful of self flagellists wearing rose tinted nvgs screaming for the return of .63. Releasing on console brought a dying game back to life. Look at the current player base, probably the healthiest it's ever been. Your welcome.

Yeah, and izurvive gives you the names as they appear in game, so what's the problem? It's part of the survival game play. We really don't want a minimap if that's what you're suggesting.

Pc had winter mods and I'd love to see this on console too but I don't expect we'll get it as it is just a mod.
