Yeah, I saw and heard the punch. I was at the top of the stairs and he ran up swinging! That's it now, any freshy running up to me gets buck shot to the face from now on!

I could maybe understand a lucky knock out, but instant death felt like a bug or glitch. Pretty sure it wasn't desync either I'd been having no issues on the server. Just two fresh spawns, one of whom had just been throwing up.

Yeah, I was looting in cherno and ran into two fresh spawns. I started talking but before I could do anything one ran up and punched me once and I was dead instantly. Had full health.

Anyone prepared to spend two hours breaking a lock deserves all the loot they find. Anyone complaining about losing loot by this method deserves to lose it.

Frequent 1PP Official Server Wipes will make me go

Yeah, I think I remembered it saying an update every 3-4 months and occasional wipe. Absolutely understand your point of view. First person servers are thin on the ground. As are servers without boosted loot. Sometimes I play on 3pp servers and just stay in 1pp because its the only way to find a populated server. But, of course, this puts you at a disadvantage. -

I don't build bases so it doesn't really bother me but I can see how some people might not like it. Similar to you I only play official first person because there are no decent survival servers on xbox. I don't recall them saying wipes that often, just that a couple of the updates might include a wipe so no hard info on that yet. I don't see why they can't have separate servers. So they could for example have four first person servers where two would be persistent and the other two wiped every quarter. -
