Ah, yeah I saw the flare. There was this weird spark in the air and I thought it was some sort of visual glitch. That's when I fell through the map. Yeah I like it the way it is I think too, after watching TRMZ video about it. I was just unlucky falling through the map and reloading into the middle of it. Cheers for the info, loving the direction the game is taking. I've died quite a few times in experimental which is very refreshing! The game needed more challenges. -

Died my first toxic gas death. It possibly is a little rapid currently. I was heading to Gorka on search of meds. School boy error, took a bite of chicken before washing hands. Just arrived at Gorka and started lagging. Suddenly found myself falling through the map. Quickly logged out. Log back in to find I'm on a toxic gas cloud. Before I could get out of the cloud I had five cuts and was vomiting blood, probably within thirty seconds. Obviously died. So it appears there is server performance issue when the gas cloud spawns in. I think it may also need a tweak. If you get caught in one as it spawns I don't really see how you can survive? Anyone else had any experience yet? -

Finding experimental on xbox to be a little laggy today. Had to relog twice, though it seemed fine yesterday? Edit... I notice there is a server message in game recognising this and says there will be a hot fix this week? -
It doesn't kill instantly. I just survived one. To be fair, I was buggered because I was fresh spawn, but it just knocked me out and broke my leg

If you go onto experimental, you can play the 1.14 update. The sounds are artillery firing toxic gas shells. I believe there are currently two permanent toxic gas sites, Rify and Balota. The artillery sounds indicate the spawning of dynamic toxic gas clouds. -

By radios in cars, do you mean the in-car radios for listening to music on? I've personally never known a car have a built in walkie talkie.

I don't see the logic at all of having random artillery strikes and really hope they don't go down this road. Toxic zones would be pretty neat though. -
A few people on reddit saying they've heard artillery. I can't imagine why this would be added.

Except that in your other thread you complain bitterly about how hard it is to survive in the first hour. What's wrong with melee? I haven't had any issues yet, and I haven't had any infected teleport around for a long time. Whats your Internet connection like? Are you on community or official. What platform? Info helps

There are a plethora of sharp objects. Stones are literally everywhere since the last update. Combine two stones to make an improvised knife. But honestly, I've never needed to yet because there are so many items you can cut up chickens with now.

Miles, hours? I can't ever recall spawning miles or hours from anywhere. Maybe a ten minute jog?

I remember when it first landed on console, we cornered a guy in a Bush he was combat logging. As he sat there logging out we emptied 7.62 rounds into him for a good ten seconds until he disappeared. Not a single round hit him

Funnily enough I was driving a gunter last night with no issues. I've still to experience these flying cars. I almost feel left out.
