That's lag for you. Usually before the servers go down for restart or when they just generally crash. I have only experienced 'rubber banding' in these situations. It also could be your internet connect, check your NAT Type. You might also do good by joining a different server when leaving, if you're trying to join back to the same one, that is.

lol, the inventory in PUBG isn't that much better..

Nope, nothing. The devs don't seem too keen on releasing information about anything. They won't even release a list of what is/isn't in the game. It's just a case of waiting for them to release information, could be today, could be tomorrow, could be a year from now.

I have thought this, I'm not even fully geared up yet and I'm already getting bored, I love the survival elements of the game and it's such a beautiful experience, but the impending thoughts of not having anything to do are becoming apparent. I agree with OP's point of how the game ends up (currently) with you just having to search for food, I really want to love this game, but I can feel my love for it slipping in it's current state. If the other posts on this board are anything to go by it would seem the devs aren't too keen on updating the game with new content so I haven't got high hopes currently.

Always check vicinity loot when near those tracksuit bottoms and coats, they sometimes have stuff in them.

Damn, I'm not sure what to suggest, definitely log this as a bug though.. Hopefully they can get this patched.

This has happened to me before, but it freezes for a few seconds then begins play again. I think it has something to do with the amount of items you have in your inventory, if you have lots the game takes longer to process all of the items. I would like to think that is the reason for this. I haven't been frozen to the point where the game has crashed or anything though.

I agree, when I first started this happened to me alot, although I didn't die quite that much xD. The game loot spawns seem somewhat off currently and also the amount of food and drink your character needs is kinda stupid. But then on the other side of the argument if your character is jogging for miles at a time, ofcourse he's gonna get thirsty. It's all about planning ahead. I usually look out for plastic water bottles and use them whenever I get to a fountain. I drink until my belly is full and then move on, following brooks/streams is always good, they most of the time lead to either a pond or a town. Load up a map either on the IZurvive smart phone app or using google. It gets easier.

Just went on an adventure with strangers for first time in years

I had an encounter whilst looting a lone house alone a dirt road. I ALWAYS close doors when I'm inside of houses/buildings looting, makes me feel safe, I guess. I was upstairs trying to work out the inventory system (I'm still new xD) and heard the door open downstairs, I felt panicked, but good, this was my first encounter. Went into game to shout 'Ok, you downstairs, I mean no harm, please let me go on my way'. No reply.. I waited for 2/3 mins before putting my mosin away and running, I was heading for the door when the intruder stepped out in my path pointing an M4 at me, I stopped dead in my tracks, then shouted 'I'm friendly don't shoot!'. To my surprise he didn't shoot me, we partied up and went to the main airfield to loot, turns out he usually bandits other players and takes their loot, but this time I was lucky, he didn't even have ammo in the M4 xD.- 1 reply

I find the further inland you go people are more hostile, I guess it's cause they have more to lose (guns, decent loot etc). Fresh spawns are either crazy for blood as they have nothing to lose or beg for stuff, I usually keep myself to myself it's easier that way, always remember; more friends and a bigger squad means more mouth's to feed and more chances for betrayal. You might find a fresh spawn bambi and train them up, they may stay loyal
