we just found out that it is possible. I'm not sure how to explain it since it's a bit tricky but the idea is that when you go to 12 then come back to 8 you then lower your gun, then RS to to aim but this time keep it pressed and then press left on dpad. Probably wont work the first couple of tries but the idea is to hold RS while pressing right on dpad. do this few times and I'm sure you'll get the hang out of it. If you have OG xbox you're game might crash while doing this, a friend of mine kept crashing while trying but X seems to have no issue.

I mean yea there's a lot of things others doesn't mind but to me they're things that affects the overall feeling. We all do I suppose.

Yet another thing changed to worse. It's like this on PC too. Was about to make a bug report but what's the point honestly I've seen so many things reported and not acknowledged that I ain't bothering anymore. What I've noticed is you need to face the item and wait for it to pop on screen before you can see it in vicinity, now if you just turn around it disappears. Even moving closer doesn't help not until your completely on top of the item. This could be a counter measure for people looting stuff through walls but sure there would be a better way to do it like code it so the vicinity screen wouldn't go through a wall. This makes looting even more frustrating than it was when you dont have your HUD on. Why do you keep taking all these shortcuts?!

wow. it's not like you can't hear gunshots but just the wind etc. there's far more important issues which can be considered gamebreaking. this is the best bug to date, love it!

This. Had a fight a elektro and a freshie came by and me being changed and shit trying to talk to him, game crashed and I joined just to see him executing me. Took my 2nd character, went there in 2min and made sure he knew who I was. Just because. Last time I said no more talking, this time I'll keep my promise.

You sound so casual so I'm assuming you're playing/played on PC, this is xbox and those weapons tend not to be found anywhere at the moment.

The game's brilliant, love it. I also hate it. It's not helping when you see all the videos on youtube. Yes, they're almost all from modded servers with increased loot but damn this is not the state it should be on xbox. For weeks I've found fuck all. I remember when you could find an assault rifle from the single tents at Elektro/Berezino. Coming out from the barracs at Solnicniy meant christmas. Last time I found one was month ago at the launch day, actually found both right next to each other. That's how it should be and that's probably one reason people are losing interest.

guess it's known, at least by the players not sure about the devs tho. it's been reported and this has happened to others too and for my self about 5 times in the past 2 weeks and lost 2 lives. ain't gonna talk in game until it's stable.

wish we had mods on xbox. this game ain't never going to be completely on par with pc.

remember when you could find an m4 or ak from electro tent or solni barracks? good ol' dayz. by the time you arrived at the tents above the dam you were almost fully geared...

since the 1.01 launched a guy 1 tapped me and my friend with shotgun. knocked us uncon. I had plate carrier and helmet, my buddy was wearing press vest and a helmet. Since that I've been tapping people, does not matter if you have any protection you're going down anyway. A little too op considering you can shoot ridicilously far with it! buckshot ftw!

Loved the night before the update but this one, nah, the moon doesn't provide any light either. It shouldn't be so that dark, it's summer isn't it? all the leaves are still in the trees? It's as dark as it is in Finland in the middle of the winter tbh.

Pretty solid patch notes! Game's run smooth so far. + zombies doesn't seem to go through you anymore while fighting them + frames seems to be more stable here's the rant tho (I just need to): - disappointing to see leaning still being on bumbers and still not being toggleable. not all can fully benefit from the whole function. - radial menu. - it's even more harder to select your weapon than it was. can you please bring back Y to equip first item in the menu? I thought the ability to move while in menu was meant to be in this patch? it's a pain in the ass to stop completely just to choose your gun. the menu also makes you jump by accident more often now instead of equipping an item since you've increased the amount people need to tilt right stick. people using the long sticks with elite controller are gonna have a hard time. - zooming and ads. - if you zoom in, pull LT to raise your gun, then release LT you'll go back to zoom which wasn't the case before. don't know if this is intentionally. now you can't cancel the zoom with LT like you could before and you're required two press LB 4 times which is, to be honest, not convenient. - items not appearing in vicinity if they're on lower bed (military barracks) - right stick dead zone is still there (5 months now), not as bad tho but noticeable - bodies still go through walls when they die Experienced my first crash (dashboard) ever after skinning a guy and entering inventory right after.

I used to KoS but not anymore, been trying to talk with everyone but since yesterday my game crashed twice while using ingame voice chat and caused me to die (game froze) so now on I'll shoot first until it's fixed. what s shame

well that's a one way to survive in a survival game...

First games in a week and got killed twice because game crashed while trying to talk to people. no that you care but im done talking until the next update.

lag is a whole different thing than frame drops. traffic in your network will cause lag ie. someone using the same internet, watching youtube, netflix, even regular browsing will affect you. framedrops like I said comes from shitty hardware and optimizing.

none of that has nothing to do with low frame rates. optimizing, both server and game has. if it was pc then I'd say updating your components would help. you wont get better fps updating your internet connection or switching to a server on the same side of the pond. in this case we'll just have to wait for the devs.
