I've tried talking to every person I've come across, must be at least 50+ (I've being playing a lot) and not one person has spike back. I'm not in a party I'm in game chat. As geared as I am I'm not letting someone shoot me in the back who doesn't respond. They die first. Nothing worse than walking up to someone with their gun on their back and asking if they're friendly only for them to pull their gun out. What are they thinking? Why waste your life ? Lol

I thought I read that you can't make a fire yet, it's not implemented, I've been eating everything raw and not even tried to make a fire because I read you can't.

Yes you do. Whether you can in the version on the Xbox I don't know but you can on pc. With a Spade equipped standing over a body you can hide body which burries them.

My point is you said the Devs don't seem to release info which is plain wrong. And I'm not complaining I'm noting bugs and glitches because I can't post on the bugs page cos it won't let me sign in. Don't get it twisted, my posts are intended for the Devs to see and to help the game move along.

I'm pretty sure the sun changes position. You don't get disease. Clouds go west to east. Easy to find your way when you have the correct information.

They updated the game in one week. Took the update back within a couple hours cos it didn't work. They posted on the forums and Twitter about all this.

If he's a fresh spawn he isn't shooting you. He logged out there. Coincidence.

So I have two gamer tags. One I use to play solo and one with my friend. After losing my M4 on one, then not being able to reload and bullets not registering I then got character locked in database, so decided to hop on my solo guy. I'm playing for 15 mins when I realise my M4 has disappeared from him too!! Seriously what is wrong with this gun. No I didn't put it down or swap it out, I changed in to a fireman's uniform. Ran out of the fire station and went to my quick select to get my new fireman's axe out to kill zs. Realise the slot where the M4 was says empty. Sure enough it's gone. Retraced my steps, found my gear and it's not inside, and I know it wasn't anyway cos it was on my back. I'm trying to love this game I really am. Also there's only myself and my friend on the server and he's at the airfield while I'm making my way there so I didn't drop it for someone to come take it. They're disappearing !

Just logged on after a long day, my bullets don't register. I fire at zombies and they carry on as if nothing happened. I videod it. Both guns my SMG and M4. Also can't reload the mags. Take the mag out with the blanks in lel, and it won't let me refill. Imagine this in PvP. And after signing out and back in to try fix it my fully decked M4 has disappeared. Fuming. And now I can't reload my SMG. You know the only gun I now have?? It won't let me put a mag in it. All fun. Now my character is stuck in database. Yey for me.

Easiest way is to pick the backpack up then highlight your old one that you're wearing and press A. It swaps them.

Very good point, he could have ran in and his game might have froze when he opened his inventory, lord knows it's happened to me especially in military 10+ times.

You forgot to mention the easiest. The clouds. The Clouds in Chernarus always travel from the West to the East. To find North, face towards the direction that the clouds are travelling, then turn 90 degrees to the left.

Try selecting a Russian server with 10 or less people in, there's always plenty.

Yeah I've tried that too, only relogging seems to work for me.

No... I head north as soon as I spawn, looting food drink a bag and melee weapons on the way, when I get to north airfield and the army base that's when I start looting my armour and weapons and attachments.

When the game first came out I could invite party to game or invite from profile. Now I cannot. With there being no way to see what server you're in to tell your mate, what gives?

That's what we do when were in a party together, common sense really, I'm talking about if we're not already together. If I'm playing solo for 3 hours before my friend comes online, and with the way the game works punishing you with the character locked on database after the game freezes or kicks you, I'm not writing down every single server or I'd never make any progress. Point still stands, why can I no longer invite when I used to be able to? When you press start and select online, it should name the server at the top of the names.

Maybe. I've found maybe 2 guns that I haven't been able to take the mag out of. Guess they were jammed. And out of maybe 20 or 30 assault rifles and Smgs, only one has been fully automatic. So bad luck indeed.

My M4 is now fully automatic and it's awsome. No idea how I've done it.

I have no problem finding apples, chickens, water, cans of pop. And the military base? Are you talking about north west air field? You take 1 bottle or canteen. You refil at the artificial lake in the middle of the airfield area.

You're doing it wrong. You should be looking for attachments for your guns. Maybe ammo. After 4 hours I'm usually in full army gear, 2 guns with plenty of ammo and mags, attachments, plenty of food and a canteen. Then looking for PvP in the northern towns. Read some redit posts. Watch some YouTube videos. The games been out 5 years, there's plenty of help out there.

I'm in the military base at the very north and in the last 30 minutes since I've been online I've frozen 5 times going in to my inventory. This is beyond irritating and now it's saying character locked on database like it's my fault. I've been rejoining the same server every time. I should not be being punished for this. This isn't my fault. I had just put my fully decked M4 down on the ground to swap some stuff out. No Biggie I thought cos the server is empty and I'll be able to pick it up when I rejoin (happend last time) but now I can't get in. Seriously this is not cool.

This is still happening. It's almost unplayable.

I think there is, was told it's 30 seconds but my mate disappears in about 10 seconds no more.
