5 months since I last played and you still can't hold your breath? Lolwut?

I played for 4 hours today, haven't played since September so was looking forward to all the changes. Joined the only empty server as I wanted to get used to any control changes and get my sensitivity right and all that. Found lots of new items like the new compass and new ski masks, slowly and methodically made my way to NWAF, searched every single barracks, then all the tents at the north, then kept going North to the other barracks at the top, I found one SMG, the ump looking gun. Got a couple clips. Heard a guy running around so went prone in the barracks, he burst through the door like he thought he was the only person there. POW right in the kisser. Took his AKM. Guess my point is, I used to search NWAF and all them tents and barracks and get an M4 an AK and fully kit them out. I can't believe I didn't find 1 AR. Good to be back anyway. Game feels smooth, and I played for a full 4 hours with no DC and then it got dark and I got to use my new head lamp, but it has a red light. Lol atmosphere. Just eaten and jumping back on. Dark is very dark lol.

Ok, I totally understand what it's like getting to north west airfield and the military base at the end of it, getting proper looted up to the hilt, ready for war and really not wanting to lose any of your gear. It's the whole risk reward part of the game. Stopping to check corners. Not just running out in the open from an open door. Most people I've killed (after trying to talk first) are people running around like headless chickens. This is only at the airfield. I means it's THE PvP area. Don't go there and just saunter about like your playing Skyrim. But seriously, if you're mid fight, and you run away and go in to the barracks for example and I keep my eyes on the door, reload my mags, then breach and clear and you're not there, where's the fun in that??? Grow a pair and fight, or what's the point?

Do we have oil barrels for storage yet? Haven't seen anyone post about them and just watched a YouTube with a guy with 3 barrels in one really sweet hiding spot. Would be nice to spawn and run to your spot and have everything you need.

Just found - Helicopter crash site, no helicopter just a thick plume of smoke. Meh

Maybe he didn't know you was there and just logged in where he logged out? I think if I logged in to a room and someone was stood there I'd shoot before I was shot. Maybe he's thinking you spawn camping f##k! Lol

There could be a better way to tell you're carrying too much to be able to sprint or jump. I just got killed because I couldn't sprint yet my stamina bar was well over half full. I could still pick things straight up to inventory so I wasn't full, and I know it's hardcore survival and that's why I love it. I'm not sure whether it was a bug, a glitch or working as intended but again, I could pick stuff up and my stamina bar was well over half full so I'm at a loss here.

Awkward or difficult is a personality thing. All I've done is defend my point and ask someone why they're commenting directly to me when I never mentioned them yet it's me you're trying to set an example of? You're doing it wrong. But ok GG.

This is the problem. Would be cool if people could stay in their party and still talk in game, would that be an Xbox live issue tho? Don't see why it can't be implemented cos you CAN hear people when you're in a party.

You can't explain other ways of playing and facts to some people. Just leave them to suffer. Some people just want to be martyrs.

Server hop = jumping between multiple servers to get more loot. Playing on another server without fresh spawn campers = playing on another server. The IQ man. The IQ. Some people just can't be helped. You should stay on the full servers get frustrated and quit the game.

I got home from work other day and logged on to be disconnected, this happened three times then I was locked in the database. Don't comment flippantly when you don't know what you're talking about.

Bet you're the sort of person that used to complain about people using the M16 on MW or people who sweat pass or just use Ronaldo on FIFA. They're all game mechanics, they're there for a reason.

Don't try patronise me because I play smart. Can you imagine how many people would stop playing if there was only 10 servers all full. No one would ever have gear. No one would be able to gear up. It would be tedious and frustrating. This isn't pubg, it's not a level playing field. People are already fully geared when you spawn and they're waiting for you in the spawn towns. Use your common sense and join an empty server, get a backpack and some food and a gun. Then join a full server. It's how I've always done it. Never been killed by a full geared person when I've just started. Trying to talk down to me cos you disagree with my totally legitimate way of playing. Dick.

And? That's smart. That's playing the game. There's a reason you have the same character across all servers. That's not server hopping. I already said what server hopping was.

Who you talking about? No one's mentioned server hopping. Server hopping is going to the military tents at the end of the airfield and hopping between 4 servers to loot them all. No one's suggested that. We've suggested gearing up on one server and once geared up going to a more fill server... That's common sense. I thought everyone did that. If you're trying to gear up on a full server you're just frustrating and handicapping yourself.

So what you do is join and empty server, gear up, meet up with someone like me, and we'll go kill these groups. I've taken multiple groups down on my own. Watch Jakon72 videos to learn how to deal with squads ;)

Obsessed with KD in Dayz when there's no way to track such stats? No mate. People just like PvP.

Ok. I've watched the video back a few times now, because it's happened again, I haven't died but I haven't been able to run. I WASN'T OVER WEIGHT! Lol cartman. I've had the bug loads of times now, can't run or jump, well it looks like you can't but in fact you are because the stamina bar goes down but when you jump you jump about 2 inches and when you run it's like you're having a nightmare where you're running but not getting anywhere. Like running underwater. Hope this clears it up for the late commenters. Man it feels like I made this post 6 months ago.
