When you spawn find the sea and set your back to it and go in that direction. Loot everything on your way north or west. The further north you go the better the loot gets.

Ok I now have an AKM a M4 and a USG. All have magazines. Can take the mags out no problem. Can shoot and reload no problem. No jamming. However I can only shoot single shot. 100% confirmed only single shot. Also I picked an AKM up that had a mag in it with 13 bullets, I wanted to fill the mag or replace it with the other one I had. No matter what I did I could not get the mag out, it could not be reloaded. Is this the jam you speak of? My server is about to go down and I'm on the middle of military base at the end of the runway. Ugh.

Melee weapon, chicken. Skin with knife. Eat and be well fed for a long time. There's aaaaaalways a chicken around.

How would that make me a hypocrite? That's the immersion I'm talking about, having to stop and look down and pull a map out. And then try read Russian and look at your map and figure out where you are. Maybe a map would be ok as long as it didn't have a big YOU ARE HERE arrow.

Hmmm. For me I can't get off single shot. Pristine guns mags fully loaded even found a brand new one on an empty server, ak loaded with a clip and it still only shot single shot. Is jamming even implemented? Can't see it if infection and broken limbs and other complex things aren't.

My guns have all been pristine and loaded in my hands with minimal inventory. They weren't jammed. Untill I see a video of someone shooting full auto and gonna believe it's only single shot for now. Btw bottom left corner it said semi auto and full auto. Still only single shot.

I had an SMG and an M4 both with full mags and they only shot single shot. And now I'm dead.

Yes they are, I got an SVD an allice 110 bag and a blue beret :)

I literally just found this out the hard way. First proper 1v1 gun fight. I pull my trigger thinking it's going to hose him down. One bullet comes out. I had an M4 fully decked out. One bullet. Red screen. Dead. Fml

Right there with you almost exaclty. Didn't know anything 3 days ago, now I'm at the airfield with a decked out M4 with 3 mags full of ammo, an SMG with 2 mags full, forget it's name. And an SVD I just got from a helicopter crash right next to the airfield which is now my home. Going between the town's around the airfield for food and water and trying to interact but everyone on Xbox is in a party and doesn't talk or shoots on site. This game will never be like the Pc version on Xbox due to the kind of player that plays Xbox. I honestly wish people would talk and interact. I've played about 70 hours now I think and only spoke to one person right before he killed my friend. My friend uninstalled lol. My other friend had me run from the airfield to Berizino and meet up, gave him some loot. Had a blast for a few hours. He's now back on fortnight. I'm loving this game. It's been a long time since my weekend has had me staying awake till 5am playing a game, sleep for 3 hours and wake up and continue gaming. Died one time to starvation when I started. Came to the internet and did tons of research before I went back in. Only had 2 deaths since. One was to a wolf pack. I was fully geared and still just respawned and it didn't bother me. Learning process. Other death was to getting the no message received whilst fighting a zombie. That really annoyed me but I still came right back. Is it me or are the servers dead? Or maybe people just haven't ventured North yet. See you on the battlefield!

When your batteries die or your controller disconnects you have to restart the game as you lose control of your character. This needs fixing.

Seriously though what's wrong with inventory management? It works exactly as it says.

Wonder why my reply was deleted. I basically said don't sprint or crouch sprint or jump about. Weird.

I've had similar. Opened a box of ammo and it turned invisible in my inventory. Was looking for it on the ground for ages then realised there was a "20" in my Inverntory with no picture.

Ok after playing all day and finally getting guns and ammo and clips, why you putting the gun on the floor to take the clip out? You can take it out in your inventory. Well in your hand, the clip is under the gun when it's in your hand, just press y on it and it removed it and puts it in your inventory.

Nothing like convincing your friend to buy it, spending 2 hours running towards one another using an online map, gearing up on the way, eventually meeting up, getting ambushed, killing ambushers and being elated, dancing then getting attacked by a zombie, no problem but as it attacks you get no message received for 10 seconds and disconnected, spawn back in as a fresh spawn. Yeah. Just about done.

Good thorough post. I managed to get to a military base last night and got an M4. Decked it out with about 4 attachments. Including a magazine but I could not take the magazine from the gun to refill it with the ammo I had, though I could take every other attachment off it. I was stuck to shooting single shot and having to reload after every shot. It's the only time I've found all three, gun mag and ammo so that's my only experience. Got eaten 10 mind later by 8 wolves. Go figure.

I'm in the UK and finding the Russian servers to be the best. Haven't had one of the red message then disconnect on about 5 hours gameplay.

What is your problem with inventory management? It works fine.

I find it really hard to understand how you manage to make an account and start a thread on the forums but can't use Google to help you survive. This game has been out since 2013, there's tons of resources available on the net and on the play store. You shouldn't be dying of hunger or thirst more than one time. I'll continue reading your post now. Just had to comment after I read you died 4 times of hunger or thirst but then start this big ole thread.
