I guess we will need to see it. I get the point of it. And I realize thermal sights could be OP, but is the only night vision tech the scope or will there be an actual set of goggles that replace a helmet

Gillie suits are not in game unless the above comment is true, meaning it was a dev and those would be in locked experimental servers. Everyone wants a gillie suit so I can easily see how this rumor started. Something like gillie suits would be part of a weekly status report. Also, food and water consumption is fine and easily manageable should you get out of spawn zones and dont sprint everywhere.

If you wish to do this just stick exclusively to low pop. That's what I do when I'm looting and when I have the weapons I join 30 pops. Pvp is a major part of the game for me, but I like doing it at my own way

They are not as useless as you think. You could very easily barricade yourself by locking qll the entrance doors, if say you are a 2 man squad and get attacked by a 4 man squad. You can also use lockpicks to unlock base doors and storage boxes and such. I always carry a lockpick if I can find it. You never know

Server reset - Locked in room (unable to open with lockpik)
Skruffy replied to Jeb33's topic in Xbox
I'm going to guess OP may not remember server #. I barely remember server numbers unless I write it down, like for future when I'm building a base on NL 4956, I'm gonna keep that as that will be my main server. Hopefully recently played and favorites work by then so it will be easier. -
1. I actually agree with this. 2. Why, that's the whole point of combining. Think of it like moving your hands. If you were pulling ammo out of your bag to load your gun, you would want to stop looking in your bag no? 3. Personal preference and can be sorted anyway. If you dont like what is first. Say your order is shirt, vest, backpack, pants. But you want pants, vest, shirt, backpack. Put vest in hands. Equip. Put shirt in hands, equip. Put pack in hands, equip. You can arrange however you want. Personally the backpack is always last for me as it always carries food and such. Guns and ammo are in pants Vest or shirt so they get damaged by incoming gunfire first. Personally every time I load my backpack is first and I hate it, so I do this every server I enter. Wish it would save my loadout. 4. Agree but meh. Encumbrance is determined by item amounts and weight. Carrying 4 guns isnt practical but you can still sprint if you're barely carrying gear. Hence the objective. Prioritize your loadouts. I only sprint under gunfire. Idk why people sprint all over the place as a fresh spawn. I normally jog the whole map so I dont mind not having it. Plus try sprinting and ADS, lol. Good luck hitting a shot before they can aim at you.

Well RPG will come with vehicles. Personally I'd like to see a heavy duty sniper with night vision/thermal scopes. The steyr may be the biggest we get but I'd like a military grade 50 call, that can have standard rounds and Armor piercing designed to take out vehicles. 2 different ammo boxes but same mag. Only load 1 at a time. But any sniper is good, especially with a high power zoom scope. Dont see the point of LMGs though it's hard enough using an M4 sometimes but 50-100 continuous fire? Idk sounds kinda lame. Spray and pray

My buddy showed me this and I thought it the funniest thing ever

Some people dont agree but I think there should be a sound setting slider for all aspects. I.e you yourself can choose what you prioritize. Say you want to prioritize footsteps, gunshots and reloading, you can keep those at full and knock doors, eating, Drinking, bandaging, reloading, etc down. Idk, it's something i would like because I'd find the happy balance of where I like my settings. Currently on my headset I gotta crank it up if I want to hear anyone but my own footsteps. But forget about firing a gun, let alone your squad shooting behind you. Ffs itll deafen you if they do that. I was listening to a guys footsteps to my headset was up, and I heard him move ever slightly, unfortunately my teammate behind me with an SVD took a shot at him, and I nearly $%^& myself it was so loud. Honest to God it hurt my ears it was so loud, and the SVD is already loud enough to hear 3 towns over. I do agree sound needs to get fixed, maybe not on the level I want, but some heavy duty priority sound options would be nice so I can hear footsteps without going deaf at the first gunshot

Omg yes. I'll message you and grab tomorrow if that works
-
Welp, they asked for something to do. I merely offered. P.s. uncovering the secrets is better at night, so you may want to wait for that implementation before you go searching :)
-
Part of my role play is finding it myself, but I'd offer up some SVD mags, bandages, morphine or food for it
-
Ah geez, I just got my friend out of there. We logged at NW airfield, but are heading to Stary tomorrow
-
Yes and no. Currently it's so hard to tell peoples intentions based on gear. Except for the classic bandit mask. Most bandits are full military, and the best bandits dress to look friendly. Just keeps you on your toes. I don't much like the idea of kos, but considering as how the xbox community is like 95% KOS, you dont have many options. However if you speak first in VOIP I do be friendly and look for travel partners. Personally I just play like I'm really on the game, that is how I immerse myself.
-
Trust me, from what I have seen. The including of vehicles, tents, bases, and night time will be more than enough. Less server jumping, more single server stuff. As your tents, base and such dont transfer. So if you really wanna get serious, you're sticking to 1 server until your whole base is wiped. I'm stoked
-
Funny, last thing I need to begin my roleplay is a PU scope for my mosin
-
1. Play the hero. Be friendly. Talk to people. Try and form little travelling parties. Or get killed. But helping is always good. 2. Play a bandit. Kill all that you see. 3. Play a bandit hunter. Hunt exclusively bandits. Stalk your prey. Reign down upon them with fire as they kill the helpless. 4. Uncover the secrets of Devils Castle. 5. Join a group or post on the forums about organizing a massive 30 player. 15v15 or more Attack/Defend at Devils Castle. Attack squad wears 1 color armband. Defend squad wears another. When all the gunfire ends, the team remaining loots, has celebratory cooked human steak, then suicides. 6. Counter snipe the snipers at electro, or the beached barge. 7. Go play music and broadcast it at NW airfield. Defend yourself as long as you can from all attackers trying to shut off Gangem Style. 8. Play hardcore. First Person. No Backpacks 9. Visit all towns and take a photo. 10. Make a narrative. 11. Play lone wolf. 12. Play with non military equipment, so no gear, M4s, or AKs. 13. Role Play a police officer. 14. Join exclusively 50+ pop servers, stay out of low pop, even when fresh spawn. 15. Make your own story. 16. Play literally as hardcore as you can. Dont stockpile gear. 17. Experiment.

Dude I'm stoked to just see the gun flash then throw a flare down at them, light up their entire ambush, and pop them with a mosin. Like night time is going to be amazing. Plus once cars, tents and fortifications for bases come in. Ah man.
-
Let me know how you fair with the flashlight and no night vision lol. I am very excited for night combat and I hope there are night time exclusive servers, that's where I will be. But still. Unless proper measure are taken, which they will. Night time will be tough without them. I'm super excited for night time raids and sniper shootouts.

Locked in database should be REMOVED from the Xbox One version until a critical fix can be provided
Skruffy replied to MarczXD320's topic in Xbox
Yes and no. I've joined a game. Loaded into a different server with a friend, been kicked because its 5 min left, then jumped to a new server fine. I'm not entirely sure what triggers the locks but based on my experience it is server hopping. You gotta remember. Yes it runs the fluidity, but this will be resolved once the game receives a hardcore stability patch, and server resets to from 1.5hr to 4 hours, which will bring night gameplay. Honestly if I get locked, I just go play a new game. 1 round of pubg or a mission in tomb raider is enough to unlock for me -

Honestly, I respect that, but If you are suffering from poor connection I'm sorry. To the game it appears that you are server hopping. By removing this, that basically allows someone to hit tents over and over with no repercussion. I think that is more unfair than being locked out. -
Remember. With night time comes flashlights and night vision. So I think only flash lights are in game and if they do not plan on adding night vision, then what is the point of night time, little to no combat will occur.

Can confirm. I tried both and only the m68 works. The acog does not
-
There was a post on this, cant remember the exact ones but they qrent anything to worry about atm. I think ImpulZ said that they go away after time as long as you are healthy. The fatal diseases are not in game yet

Nah 10 min is unrealistic. If there was immediate desync I'd understand hovering over quit gave you a 5s cooldown before pressing if in a safe zone or 10s if being shot. I quite like the current system. Only way to be unconscious is by being beaten or melee killed. But come the time when blood bags are needed, morphine, transfusions etc. I think an SVD shot shouldnt kill, but should knock you unconscious like the old as50 did if you hit them in stomach. Chest and above was a kill I believe. Combat logging isnt such an issue as it used to be. Cuz the 15s desync. It used to be instant. But I do agree. If you spawn in a hot zone and get killed cuz you're in a military tent/barracks/etc. That's 100% your fault. Me personally if the server doesnt kick me... I always get atleast 100m from any military post. Plus the ones i go to in stary and south of NW airfield, I get all I need in 1 go because I'm looking for specific items, ammo boxes or mags or a scope. It takes too much fun away if I constantly loot 1 zone, but then again, I know where my favorite loot zones are, so as long as I dont starve or get dehydrated on my way up there, I'll be set. May take a few servers to get up but yea. Plus I head back and donate gear after posting in the xbox group. Like atm I'm trading a UMP45 with 2 mags and 2 boxs of ammo for a PSU scope. Or head to spawn zones and drop cans of bacon on the road lol
