I think eventually they'll really need to address all the issues that are caused by porting a game - many things just don't port well and this type of inventory is one of them. Console players want things to be simply and easy.. join a game, not pick a server and wait.. add an item to inventory - successful or not because its full..etc. And of course the font size of much of the text needs to be increased.

As far as the inventory - it is broken. I was trying to switch packs and couldn't move things. I opened up the inventory menu and tried to move an item to inventory - wouldn't work. When I went to the game view, I could hit X and it added it. Maybe I missed some reason why that is by design, but if it is, it makes no sense.. And while this was a PC game first, games on consoles are played differently and if they don't take that into consideration, it probably won't do well. And I'm not sure why anyone thinks it is so easy to not starve. It depends so much on the server. I've been in areas where building after building after building is empty. I've died due to starvation or dehydration a number of times. Starvation being the bigger issue since I have been able to locate myself on the map regularly now and can get to water sources. The food though is all dependent upon finding it and if everything has been picked already, what can you do?

Interesting stories! I think my only complaint about it is that there's sometimes no chance to fight. Other PVP games I've played, you usually are able to at least put up some sort of fight. I think perhaps one thing that would make it less of a shoot first ask questions later kind of game would be to have more incentive to be friendly. Right now, if there were no other human players on a server, one person could go anywhere, do anything and loot everything. If there where places where there were more zombies or harder to do solo, that might help get people to team up. Also maybe injuries can be better tended do by another player vs doing it solo. Lots of little options that would give more incentive for people to not just shoot on site. Which at this point is what I think I'd do if I come across someone again. I've only heard shots and moved away from the area to avoid any confrontation. I think if it does end up simply being like this long term, I will lose interest in playing. Spending hours gathering stuff, building up to either be stabbed in the back or one shot killed with no warning just takes a lot of the fun out of it.

You can probably fix this through your TV settings. I've played on two TV's and had things cut off and was able to manually adjust on both. One an older plasma and one a new LCD.

I agree with a number of the things you brought up. Many of them are simply the issues of moving a PC game to Console. Some things need a redesign when making that change, such as the size of text, inventory and other things. Clearly they did not consider that or decided to release to the console without making changes to it? Another issue is not being able to adjust the screen area - On the two TV's I've played on, I've had to make adjustments in my TV settings rather then adjust the screen area in the game as I do with nearly every other Xbox game.

I felt like you at first. Then I pulled up the izurvive map and figured out where I was and that one factor made it more enjoyable. I was able to find a water source. Food was still tough and ultimately I died because of lack of food. Next spawn I did better and found a lot more food. I even gave food to someone I came across who needed it. Saw two people around the same time and avoided them. An hour or so later, I was doing pretty good. Had enough food, water bottle, rifle, axe, shovel and a decent sized backpack. I then came across someone who looked similarly equipped. We waved. He stood there looking at me and waved again, then I see a gun and I'm dead. Literally that quick. I now know better then to just stand around, I thought maybe he was going to try to say something but he didn't. So, when food an thirst aren't an issue, this seems to be the next one. I have no problem dying in a PVP fight, but this wasn't a fight. It was an execution which was seemingly easy for him. I had no time to react at all. Clearly this needs to have some better balance. It is impossible to react in a game where you die instantly. So sadly, I got beyond the issues of food and water and was actually having fun trying to look around and find more and had this happen.. Seems this is destined to be a game of either frustration or all out attack everyone you see.

I am having the same issues and have had it since installing so I'm not sure why any of the above steps would be necessary on a brand new install? I've being installing to a 2nd xbox but haven't tried it yet. I'll see if I end up with the same issue. I can join a game, I just have to pick a server that is full and wait forever as I'm usually at least 40 in the line.
