Ruins the devs intended vision of the game. I want an immersive zombie apocalypse experience, not a spawn and loot at a kamy tent city and sprint to Sol factory, where I ultimately die to a meatballing ghoster. Then, rinse and repeat. I want to grind for the loot so everything has a sense of value and player interactions can be meaningful. Duping destroys this. -

Its not the 1.04 update, it was a hotfix for fps that apparently broke most optics. How did it release accidentally? Cat walk across the keyboard? Lol...

Without getting into the specific mechanics of how duping works, I fail to see how the random spawn when server hopping will stop a friend from picking up the original dropped gear.

Is the server hopping mechanic intended to stop duping? Cant the gear the player drops still be collected by a friend? Also, you told us in the PS4 launch stream that you're aiming for parity in patch releases across all platforms. The lengthy console certification process is not a new thing. I feel like you guys knew this the whole time and therefore it would be impossible to have patches released on PC and console on the same time.

They have been "in talks" for sometime apparently... Considering we have been asking for these literally since it launched in preview... Must be some "talks"...

This is my concern, without getting into specifics the glitch revolves more around xbox live and the way you join games... We've been told things have been fixed before, when all they did was put a bandaid on it. They did not address the underlying issues. I hope I'm wrong. -

I'm fully aware of the update timeline... I just dont share your optimism that it will be fixed. Take the snark somewhere else. -
I think they would be more attracted to those servers. I think at this point, best thing to do is just for BI to acknowledge the playerbases frustration with duping. Admit that nothing can be done until the next patch and give us a wipe every few weeks until then. Or put out a hotfix, but something tells me if that were possible it would've happened already.

The lag was so bad because of the base. I dont understand why these guys even would build something like this. It looks like they are preparing to add even more to it. And the thing is, there are so many abandoned bases and tents cluttering up servers its ruining the framerate everywhere. Personally, I would be fine with a wipe every few weeks until we get 1.04. This shit is out of control.
