Aha! Thank you @ImpulZ appreciate it. Never thought about the elevator shaft. Could you check/clarify with the team if tents can be put up indoors? We put up one in a house the other day (no items in the tent 0/120) and after server restart it was gone. Was it: A. The server recognise an empty tent and removed it so that the server/game world is not littered with empty tents. B. It is a bug when placed indoors or to high above ground.

With a total of 67 servers (EU+RU) it's super easy to server hopp and find people's bases, tents and barrels. Grab it all and vanish. You guys started out with 400+ servers in september but in december you are down to 67?... Sure servers cost but atleast go past 100 per area. Either that or lock all placeable content to the server (grab a tent and disconnect = no tent in hands when at main screen). Then people can steal but can be hunted and found.

Yeah, as long we are in game preview anything can happen. Come 1.0 and i'm heading into the woods..never to be seen again. I bet we get stats for each character, kills, how long distance traveled, how many days we survived etc.

Unfortunally it has become a PvP game on xbox. But i see it more as a pve with rare and few encounters of other players. You are never forced to engage and can always stay away. Core game is survival, you against nature, wildlife, thirst, hunger etc.

1.0 is done (gone gold) and will therefore have a new pricetag. Ofcourse the dev's will continue to tweak, patch and add features. But somewhere the team need to reach the end of alpha and go into beta..and after beta it is 1.0 or gold as most like to call it. Gold comes from a special disc that are sent to printing, packing and shipping hard copies around the world. Very few games are done or bugfree even at $60 pricetag and in "Gold" status. The Xbox and ps4 versions will go gold (1.0) in Q1 2019...meaning release before end of march.

That is super odd...because you can not even reach the final floor and the ladder. The whole top floor (with apartments) are unaccessable due to an invisible wall and collapsed staircase. I've checked around 25 tall buildings around chernogorsk and they are all the exact same model with exactly the same invisible wall and collapsed staircase.

Full release for Xbox and ps 4 is Q1 2019. So before march.

At the top floor, the first floor is jumpable and you can enter apartments.

No, they made the top staircase collapse and put an invisible wall so you can't even jump up there.

Say you want to play on a friday evening during primetime. You spent 50+ hours on your character and last night you almost finished your base and you thought you finish it this friday evening...but it's full and 6 people in que. When does a server become full? When 60 players have joined and got their character locked? Even if the server is half full, do the server save the remaining slots for the players that are locked to it? Or do the server allow anyone to join and lock their character? Could 300 players lock their character to NL 3855 for example, even though the server capacity is 60 players? Nah...i rather have them lock placeable content. Only the player that place a tent or barrel can pack/move it. Sure you can steal whats in them. Like the car...you can't bring it to another server, it's locked.

Had the same today..only option to open/close lid. No arrow or option to do anything else.

Just saw arrow up and arrow down while looking at a barrel. With d-pad up/down you can switch between pick up barrel/open barrel.

I agree to some extent. It's different and more cumbersome for console players with a controller to have all the features. And i doubt the majority will go fishing for two hours or build a garden and take care of it. Same with hunting, why bother when you can eat canned food? It's a wasted time to get energy for 30 minutes when it it takes an hour to hunt, skin, carry, find axe, chop wood, carve bark, craft fireplace, get stick etc. If they made it a bit less of a hassle, maybe it would encourage more of the survival part. I tried everything (except base building, dying clothes and assembly cars) the game has to offer. I stick to canned food and wells.

Yeah, i might be wrong. Sounds impossible to raid and take it all. Wish BI could be more active on here and answer our questions.

Locking a character is not a good idea, we discussed this in the team chat the other evening when a friend bought and joined the game. If you lock your character and additional friends buy the game and try to join the server you are locked on...and it's full. What to do? Kill your character and start over together on another server? Sure it works..once maybe, but then another friend buy it and another one.

That would be cool and also more variations in zombies att military bases. Maybe shirtless, a backpack on, rifle in the shoulder, helmet etc. could vary your encounters much more. It's in the details.

Glad more like the idea. But helicrashes...umm they are crap. Ran into one earlier today. Blue UN helmet, assault backpack (damaged), SVD and i think a pair of gloves.

Agree. It's not worth the slowdown. I both died and killed players with the ballistic vest. Easy.
