To my knowledge they are self published, and investors.. can't be many left if it takes 6 years to get a game out of beta. Without a publisher you don’t have people breathing down your neck and your creativity is not forced in other directions because people with money have a say. But i don’t know much about BI, they might not even have a boss. 😃

I would go down to the developers of Dayz and tell them to get a fix out to stop duping, hoarding and god tents. No matter what solution, be it clear the servers once a week, lock characters, remove possibility to set up tents, build fences or anything... I would just do it. Seeing your game getting destroyed like this and not fixing the problem (hot fix, temporary fix) while player nunbers decrease, word of mouth, youtube and so on are destroying everything you built up for several years.... Yeah, i would much rather shut features off and take extreme measures than letting this Mickey mouse bullshit go on for several MONTHS with no fix.

For me its not so much about exit counter. Some of us got a life that demand quick exits from a game. If the kids need me or the wife yells about something i can't be sitting on my ass for 1-2 minutes because a game won't let me exit fast. It's more about the time entering another server, to get rid of hoppers. That should be 5 minutes. So i voted for 15 second.

Never encountered this in my 600+ hours on the xbox. As of two days ago i can not see anything inside tents (only tested 4 large military, 2 in our base and two on base raids) i hit the touchpad on ps4 and I can always see camo net slot and xmas light slot. Nothing below, i dont see the "large tent 0/400 or when looking at the tent bag" pack tent" icon. My friends can see everything . We tried different scenarios: Empty the tent and move it to a different spot. I tried removing gear and clothes and walk inside the tent thinking it might be something i'm carrying? Tried restarting the game. We tried the tent on a different server. No matter what, nothing shows up in the tent and I can not access pack tent. I have not changed my gear or equipment in days, i have played with this character for 8-9 days. I have taken a beating and been shot at (repair the same items). I have not been stuck or encountered any weird bugs. Our tents are not stolen or duplicated. None of our gear are duplicated (never done it and will never look up how to do it) so we have no idea what has happend. The only thing left is to kill my character to see if it's a bug with the character? Sounds like a long shot..

... All you that are waiting for the introduction of helicopters. Have you even stopped to think about the current state of land vehicles? Building them takes ages, driving them is a headache, crash in one and you might survive.... Now go back to your sought after helicopters. Carrying rotorblades for 3 miles? Engine? Tail? Struts? Not to mention the electronics and fuel consumption. Then.... THEN ... You will try and fly that thing with bohemias well known and improved vehicle physics that we all come to love. No thanks, i stick to my two legs.

The game is only 8.7 GB large. All assets are on the server, eeeeeeveerything loads in when you come within range. If you ask me... It's stupid. But i'm no developer.

Yeah, we used to have 15 minute night on xbox, but that was too short. But as many has said, i can take an hour of darkness if i get 4+ hours of day. 2 hours is waaaaaay too little. I'm hoping for 5:1

I can't be the only one that dislike the cycle the way it is now. 2 hour day and 1 hour night. I got play sessions that are 2-3 hours long, 90% of them time i log into a server it's either dusk or pitch black night. I just disconnect and take the 90 sec punishment. But it shouldn’t be like that. I can play at night but not every damn time i log on. We need atleast 4 hour days and 1 hour night (including dusk and dawn times). Playing at night in games is cool and sneaky... just not in this game. At all. It's to your disadvantage all the time. Atleast let us play 4 hours with day light. I bet you got stats on every server showing disconnects when it's night and I'm 100% sure it's s a large number. Maybe it's time (in general) to start listening to your (smaller by the day) community.

Server hopped the first 3 months on xbox. Got bored and started playing the game. Then duping became a thing and I stopped playing since everything was gone. Started fresh on ps4 with 6 friends, started to build a base. Currently 2 large tents, 1 small tebt, 1 barrel, pumpink and zucchini, 5 wallls and one watch tower coming along nicely. Buuuuuut.. Duping and hoarding only took 2 weeks on ps4 before it was the new big thing. Now... 4 of my friends left to play other games and I'm looking at the division 2.

Strange... Do you speak for everyone? How on earth do you know that players don't run on the road? How do you know that players don't appreciate the map design and layout when exploring off the road? I been EVERYWHERE on Chernarus and I know 90% of the map like my own pocket. Don’t assume or speak for everyone. Maybe YOU should get off the road and explore and you might appreciate the map design eeh?
