I’ve yet to see a chopper but at NWAF there was a big plume of smoke rising up from nothing I figured it was a downed chopper that wasn’t spawning for some reason, all other times the smoke was never there

I try to say hello most of the time I see or hear someone close by but never heard a reply. When the evil me is playing and I see someone that I know I’ve got the drop on i’ll mess with them and use the chat to play the Predators clicking noise from my mobile, must have scared one guy good cuz he ran like a bat out of hell lol

This along with overlapping msgs and oversized “no msg received” text. But the descriptions you get when hovering over any item is really really small even on big tv

Tapping left bumper should look through the attached scope while ADS and holding it should revert to iron sights, if you tried that then it might be bugged

It’s ok at this stage to drink from ponds and creeks as far as I know, there’s usually one near most spawn points, it should be enough to tide you over til you find a few cans of drink or a bottle. Also if you find a shovel I think you can dig up worms and eat them, or find mushrooms in the woods. Also sprinting drastically reduces your food and water gauge

I logged in there yesterday in between 2 people standing on the camo platform, only 5 people on the server including myself and I was dead in about a second (if that). And lost about 10 hours of loot, guns and ammo, not to mention my Knights Helm ? Worst timing ever, I should have made a cuppa first then maybe they would have buggered off by the time I got on

Supressed AKM with scope and silenced pistol are fun to use.

My combat knife didn’t last as long as a can opener before it became ruined. As far as I can tell anyway

Maybe drop a full clip on the ground then back out of inventory look at the clip and press RT to load it. Seems to be only way I can get it to work. Mine bugged out last night but is working again after reloading the game.

Sounds like every player lost everything they had beside what was being worn, equipped and was being carried, on every server.

Yes lost everything besides what I’m carrying and had equiped. SG server don’t know exact name. Couldn’t see names of previously played servers. Eeyeore. No chance of a rollback? That was like 10 hours of scavenging guns ammo and food ? i was dropped from the game about 15mins ago checked here and saw there was an update. Got it then logged in and gear was gone. So I was still playing after update was released, for how long I don’t know.

Once tents come into it they’ll be your safe house and storage (not so safe, but can be well hidden) and being able to put them deep in the woods where only you and your mates know how to get there is pretty cool, throw in some trip wires and grenades. PC has had some community camps where there are a dozen or so big tents set up with plenty of food, ammo and clothing for all. In the end it’s about trust.

Havnt met a friendly yet, PC or Xbox. Even on PC servers where it states No killing on site as rule I kept getting shot, so yeah now I’ll shoot you if you get too close, raise your gun at me or don’t respond on the mic

I get it now and then. Switching weapons or dropping it fixed it for me a couple of times, other times not

Ive been getting the sync issue on a bunch of games, but I press play offline and it eventually takes me to the menu, then I can play as normal

I’d like to be able to have an extra character slot for the same reason.

the loot map (when it arrives) and compass is the way to go if you’re familiar with the game. If you’re just starting out the iZurvive map is good to use on a phone or tablet, but an in game mini map on your hud just because would not be great for the game unless they somehow made it so you could craft one and and incorporate it into your inventory screen using the loot map, compass, pen and maybe a ruler/protractor or something.

Try selecting the Chernarus+ satellite map option from the menu (if you haven’t already got that selected) that’s been spot on for me. That said it’s pretty easy to get turned around

Today it doesn’t seem to matter what server I pick (pop 0-10) I end up in a near full server, also exited one, jumped into a different one and I was back in the same one again

There is something to be said for doing it the old fashioned way but I did my time running around with a map and compass, or trying to use the sun but when you’re trying to meet up and your mate can only tell you “uhhhh I’m in a small town and can’t read the sign”

In Melb here and played on all servers besides Russia. SG and NL have been pretty smooth, although initial loading times were a bit longer using the Netherlands server. There’s a good chance they’ll add some Oceanic servers in time and they’re going to try and have rental servers by the time the game releases in 1st quarter of 2019
