    I really like it that the nights are so cold that you have to organize yourself and make a fire. but it feels really akward if you find a pullover in a hunting hut and can't pull it on under a hunting jacket. and i recognized my caracter eats a awfull lot if he has cold. thats good, so you'll have to prepare for the nights. i like it. more survival and less dull PVP.

    As far as im Informed (Youtube knowledge), a bulletproof west would only protect against handguns. .45 Cal is allready an exeption. And subguns and rifles projectiles just penetrate easily due to the higer velocity. A guy called Paul Harrel on Youtube can give you a good impression on what a bulletproof west could absorb or not.

    I guess people just dont understand how much work it really means. also because bows and arrows where once in, way back, in a way older build. For me the fun idea about DayZ is this. Once you decide to use a gun, the game really turns on you. you attract geared players and Zeds. But if you decide do live a quiet life, you can have much more peacefull Player interaction. For my taste the use of a gun could even come with a bigger expense. For Example: Zeds spawnig nearby you, or even Wolves (in Woods). So that when One uses a gun, has really thought through it before.

    i suggest your list makes more sense in the opposite direction: -Bug fixing -Basebuilding (id like to see some improvised shelter one could build in the woods, one wich would be harder to see than a little tent. bulded with long stiks and barks) -Bow and arrows -the full leather Clothes crafting ability i not meant to annoy you, but it seemed you where in a bit of a rage while typing. And One could easely misunderstood why you put backpacks and clothes in the firstplace. And i guessed you dident meant such a glittery green fancy backback, did you 😄 have a nice journy

    reignite outgoing fire

    When a fire is burned down to the state the embers are still glowing, i suggest that it should be possible to reignite the fire with some burning material and fan or blow some air in it. (as it would work in real life) it feels silly to be forced to use a fire ignite set at that state of the fire burning down. Kind reguards MathTheRender

    yesterday i was not able to take a newly craftet torch in my hands. an big axe was not dragable on the axe-on-my-back-slot and a fireplace was not reignitable. im a bit sad about this things still happen. it's fun there are so much weapon-options for PvP in the game. but for PvP and zombies there are like a thousand games on the market. The Crafting and survival bit, whitch makes the game more unique compared to others, is still almost neglectable. the game still does not reward a user enougth for being social. maybe there should spawn agroed infected if you fire a weapon. between 1-4. Also if id where outside a village. maybe wolfs for bigger woods. just thinking loud here. kind regards

    it would be great if there would be dedicated servers whre i can choose one of my steam friend and: A: spawn together in 20m distance or B: spawn in the same coastal city / village i love the solo run, but there are evenings i'd like to have a bit more of friendly interaction and conversation. and id love to stay in DayZ to fullfill this need, and dont want to change the game for this. i think if there would be dedicated servers for this, or even mixed servers. that would be great! thank you for considering my suggestion

    Improvised Backpacks from clothing

    i always think when i have anought rags to craft a rope, i could now just take the next hoodie (or jacket or shirt, but not Pants) and sticks and craft an improvised backpack. as a tradeoff they could be not so big in space and the bigger hicking bags could spawn maybe more up north in wolfs areas.

    i am still not able to play different characters. character A is my teamplay character, and character B is my singleplayer one. when i select character B and join a server, i join as character A. it seems to reset my selection always to a default character (A).please solve this bug in the upcoming patch for it is a really anoying one. kind reguards MathTheRender

    today i played on my second character, and as i finished it looked like the first one was lost/overwritten. but i have selected exactly the first one. i guess its a bug too. in the first place i lost half an hour on trying to enter a game and not judt get rotten in a waiting queue. what was that all about?!

    i shot a deer 3 times with a 9mil pistol. but it survived. it could only walk, si i tried to stab it. after 2 minutes of intense knife stabbing. a let the buggy deer roam by itself. in dawn abd night time the breathing steam is still good visible. looks wierd, as it should not be lighter than its dark souroundings. i hope spraycans, bows an fishing will get in soon. and hopefully the infected get a bit more brainy

    i even think the most valuble spawns and weapons should only be available at night. so that there is i big reason to play at night. the darkness could be a tiny bit less dark, but maybe if that would be so, we could gamma hack it again. as i understand it stuff spawns in a radius around a player? so maybe that big time stuff could spawn only if i had a bit of a journy behind me (1km) trough night and enter a place or building which is supposed to have such item. as i mentioned earlier, i was kind of happy about it to be forced to use a flare. semms like all sticks have the same lenght now

    Played yesterday in Night enviroment and it was pitch black. it was the first time i was forced to use the roadflare. I think this a good solution you found to fix the gamma hack. That was great creapy fun. but i have some points to mention: -Pet bottle fills up way to quickly, i think the sound is on the right path, but sounds too empty. -had a can of food and could not open it with : hatchet, hacksaw and tongs. (witch i think i would manage in real life althoug they took me a different amount of time and and a bigger loss of ingreedience) -the pumpkin seems to resist the same tools -found some mushrooms in the woods. they lie on the ground and on stones like someone dropped them, which felt odd. -spawned items somethimes have such a unnatural glow (in example the mushrooms). also my character glows sometimes oddly or seems to be much brighter than it should be possible in the enviroment. for me that seems to be an easy tweak to fix but would do so much allready for the game experience. -i was lying on the ground in the woods, and tried to open a can. so i put the can on the floor, as i was in my invertory, to get a hatchet in my hands. then i couldn't find my can. so i searched the sourrounding forest floor and could not find it. as i stood up i saw that the can was hanging in the tree (fir). +gameplay overall seemed much more fun +not at least because i found more stuff and a whole lot of new items :D so keep on going, its great to see it slowly getting all together. greeting from Chenarus

    Not sure, do we have PBR Materials yet? if not, are they planned at some point? will they slow down the performance of enfusion engine? Sry, was not sure where to poste since art and design branch of the forum are a bit outdated.

    by all the love i got forDayZ just got really depressed when i came along a game called "Mist". they got allready a lot of the mechanics i stil yearning for in DayZ. i really pray you get all the basbuilding and survivalist content in soon. man, i really love DayZ but this waiting is really tought on me

    Hi Im a bambi in this Forum but i like to discuss something. Form me the Doors in dayZ are a real experience breaker. its still tricky to hit that sweetspot to get the F-Option in your HUD. Both, for opening and closing Doors. Also for ladders you have to point quite precice to some random spot to get an "Enter ladder option". So here are my proposals: Aproach A: You make sort of a region about 1-2m around a door/Ladder object that triggers the option to open or enter a door/ladder. Aproach B: if you just walkt troug a door or towards a ladder you can press F and the game assumes u enter the door / Ladder. for me its a thing since i recently played GTA los santos, completly diferent game i know, but the way you navigate caracters trough doors and up-downwards ladders felt much more natural and diddent pull my out of my game experience. sincerely MathTheRender
