Well maybe that depends on ur standards and what you define by "runs", for example when i had the PC with the specs i've mentioned above, Rise of Tomb Raider was unplayable on lowest settings ( 20-30fps ), Witcher 3 was also unplayable ( ~30-40fps on lowest in tutorial so imagine what it would've been in bigger towns ) but Battlefield 1 was fine ( in Beta so only 1 map tested ). Keep in mind that the OP's CPU would perform roughly 90% slower than your i5-3210M and the fact that even ur i5 is not that good. For reference my i5-2320 is garbage in todays standards for gaming, but still faster by roughly 50-60% than urs. Ofc 100% slower doesn't mean that it will be like 40fps instead of 80fps, but still major impact in various tasks and im sure his CPU bottlenecks the GTX 750 pretty heavily since CPU like that for todays games incl. DayZ is just not good enough.

    Also considering its a new engine i guess its alot harder to solve these issues, because its still "unexplored" that well and troubleshooting is way harder that lets say you would have to do in older engines or well known engines such as Unreal + as i know all the best Bohemia Interactive employees left the team, so the team could be way weaker now.

  4. Honestly you can buy DayZ anyway or ask a friend to try it ( i think steam also lets u ask for refund before first 2 hours of gameplay ). I bet in future you will get better PC anyway. Also softwares like Razer Cortex usually just does nothing ( it tries to turn off unnecessary stuff, sometimes its helpful if u have tons of stuff running in bg and lazy to do it manually ).

  6. Really don't want to say that, but being honest u can't run DayZ SA with this specs ( atleast to get smooth enough gameplay ). Im pretty sure you will be with like 10fps at lowest settings in towns and max 40fps in open areas. Even my i5-2320 struggles to run DayZ SA and your CPU has like one quarter power of mine. Your GPU is also on the weak side ( pretty much equal to these new Ryzen iGPU such as Vega 11 ). Used to play DayZ with R9 270, the fps was pretty low and not so smooth, after upgrading to 980Ti it made a massive difference to the point i could play on max settings almost 60fps everytime ( besides in bigger towns because my CPU bottlenecks instanly ).

    If they're dealing with the crashes it can take from few days to months from now. Imagine if they did a massive hole in the engine and they gonna rewrite like 1/3 of it. I wonder if their modelling/look dev team is working on the buildings and props.

    Haha not really, lets say if you watch some action movies or military ones you can notice the females has totally different movements, it doesn't have to be sexy at all, but women tend to sway the hips alot more than men. Ofcourse its not necessary for current version, it could be polished after 1.0, but having character animations for men and women which are 100% the same is not the best solution too especially when the game is pretty much all about your character. Nearly every game has different set of animations for female/male characters including Fallout 4 even its mostly played in first person / GTA etc. Perfect example for the animations: Sexy Type: Bad-Ass ( Military Girl ) type:

Hello everyone, i think it would be nice to have an second "Test" server with latest content similiar to what PUBG devs does with their "Codename: Savage" where we could try the latest features even if its terribly glitchy and full of bugs in this case for example it would be the .63 as it was in the Dev Stream. To get access to this exclusive server we probs would have to complete an application of some sort basically proving that we 100% understand that its for testing purposes and we cant judge the game at that point or even upload gameplays of it somewhere otherwise we will get banned or something. E.g. We fill an application somewhere and if we're accepted Staff member unlocks an private section of forum where staff member posts temporary password for the pre-experimental build that has like 1-3 servers live and also where we report issues of that exclusive build in case devs missed some bugs. Also it doesn't need to be up for all time, it could run for example only in weekends. There's alot of people including me who cannot wait for .63, but even .63 gets into experimental i bet there will be second great features that we will need to wait for and we will want to test it ASAP e.g. helicopter or RPG before its on public experimental and it will continue like that till the game is fully developed.

    I totally agree, but anyway they know that they have lots of inpatient people, also idea like that would solve all these difficult questions such as "When its ready?", all we would have to do is just wait for the password and join the server to try the new features.

    They could make different animations for Female character, like more sexy and more female looking, i believe currently its totally the same for both, male animations is kinda ok pretty neutral, ofcourse walking could be improved, it looks very robotic, it could be more like "gangster" type with wider arm movements etc. Also when sprinting the character should not lean forward that much, it should be straight ( in GTA 4 the sprinting animation is done pretty well ).

    Maybe, but it's totally possible. Anyway 120-200 would be sweet spot imo, because sometimes i cant find any players for hours even running in military bases on full 60player servers. On average in Full 60player server i find maybe like 1-3 players in few hours running through military routes.

    I think 300-500 players would be great, but i believe 120~ will be guaranteed. Actually who knows, since they made it Server side maybe we will see even 1000, considering in old times old engines such as Unreal Engine 2.5 managed to hold like 10000 players per server also on pretty low-end hardware ( in this case Lineage 2 ) so i think its totally possible to see massive player count per server but it will depend on server hardware, the better it is the more players i think. I think the loot system will be changed and should be maybe more dynamic ? e.g. Spawn for example near players in specific radius and based on how much players there is ( except for cars ). So everyone should have enough loot and the loot should get better going inland. Also i hope they will increase the despawn time from killed players, dropped items quite alot e.g. from 20mins or so to few hours.

    Well lucky you, i always find someone even on a server with 10 online, back in the older versions i was server hopping in servers with very few players like 3-5 online and still managed to get into PvP.. Not even talking about full servers, maybe you just travel in unusual routes? If you want to meet someone just go through the routes that goes from military base to military, nobody actually stays in towns or you can find fresh spawns quite often ( if ure one of the guys who loves coast ). Novy Sobor, Stary Sobor probs is the best places to find people, i once ran into fkn massive battle, there was like 4 or 5 teams of 2-4 ppl. Surprisingly i dont find people in Tisy base or NWAF that often even if i run around like crazy and shoot randomly making some noise.
  15. Hello guys, i've watched the whole stream and want to offer some changes also i want to hear your opinions if you agree with me and your thoughts. Animation I am not a fan how the fall animations are made ( both death and jump from height ), they look extremely artificial and robotic even they were mocaps, i think devs need to implement an ragdoll system for deaths ( such as Arma 3, but better ), because dayz .63 currently has only 1 animation ( mocap i believe ) for death. The jump from height animation looks artificial and robotic, the transitions doesn't seem smooth also, when jumping from higher height i think the character should transition in the pose of "preparing for drop" its really hard to find good references to visualize what i mean, but just do walk jump and run jump from 2-3 meters height and u will see what i mean, basically bad inertia and lacks variation ( roll could be cool tho ). Item picking animations could be bit better, it would be nice to have it when pressing the pick button the player would approach the item and lean etc to actually pick it up instead of that random hand movement from few meters away of the item, because dayz is about immersion right? New UI It's kinda fine, but i think something better could be made ( maybe bit more modern and nicer looking ? ) On another hand Functionality seems awesome. Graphics - The Big Thing That Bohemia Shines at. Some may agree and some not, but half of dayz is fkn EPIC and half looks like 1990's game. I think its time to add more polys ( improve the details alot more ) to the characters and many buildings even most of them is fine, just needs new texturing, because it doesn't rly fit and overall looks old for 2018 game ( in another words not much changed since Arma 2 ). Also dayz should have better antialiasing system, even at max settings it sometimes looks very flickery and stuff. Other Add breakable/shootable windows? For player distractions and just extra noise.

    Thats not bad, but nothing special either, should be enough for DayZ. Anyway i think its more of an server side issue, btw if you're using Wifi type of thing ( e.g. your internet is also used by your neightbours etc like it exist in some places ) if theyre watching something like netflix, downloading stuff it can cause serious ping for you ( even csgo would lag ). On another hand if you're playing with friends on that server if its you alone that gets lags it means its ur internet.

    That would be possible only if group of people placed tons of items in one place imo, when last time did you seen more than 2 items in "small" room? I doubt after .63 the loot will be "insane". also for situation like that i have mentioned that turning it off/on both for highlight or popup window would be great. However its totally fine how it is.

    I think these icons will get annoying over time once you get used to the controls ( besides it will be aid for spotting items ), i personally would like some highlight system when ure near item and option to disable the pop-ups/highlights. And im not talking about these lame looking wallhack highlights like in some games, but maybe more like that which appears when ure really close ( max ~2 meters ? ) showing that ure ready to perform an action or just quickly highlights it if you miss it or something.     Make guns recoil control a soft skill

    This is pretty good idea actually, it would encourage players to shoot more and not just sneak around everything afraid to hit the trigger, resulting in more information about other player locations ( to interact or just kill them ), also its pretty realistic that when u appear in some land as civilian and u have no idea how to handle the gun. I think as a bambi there could be like maximum sway of weapon ( pretty much like in .62 dayz ) but with every shot it reduces e.g. after 20-100 shots of any weapon over 9mm you get the minimal sway ( well that depends on loot amount, would be best that in 30min to 1hour u could adapt fully to weapons ). Also as a result of this people will value their character alot more ending up being alot more scared of pvp situations and doing less suicides.

    Agree, that backpack is from soviet and czechoslovakia times ( or 80/90's ) i believe u can find these in Chernobyl etc, so it fits the theme.

    Well thats true, but take Source Engine for example, even with "fanmade" tools such as WallWorm you can do such things rapidly ( compiling takes longest time around 2-5mins per model on crappy PC but making these collisions etc is just seconds since it uses scripts etc which i bet DayZ devs has too for their engine, ofc some models/props can be more complex and may need manual adjustements ) so imagine what the actual developers use? It should be even faster for them. Also dont underestimate the Source Engine, its games looks basic, but its freaking complex due to insane optimizations. Also considering Bohemia made new engine/language, i suppose their workflows is drastically improved. If they said that they need to remodel/retexture everything from scratch and make all these collisions together, then i would agree it can take months up to years ( considering there's alot of people there and not 1guy works on it ). Well im not familiar with Studio environment and their workflow, but lets say you have to make 1000 world props ( houses, small things, fences, trees, rocks etc ) totally from scratch.. Based on my "apprentice" modelling skills they could make roughly 3 models per day for 1 guy ( ofc huge variantion due to variety of models and their complexion, could be 20 per day or 1 per day e.g. massive building with props inside such as current Jail of DayZ ). So take 3 modelers, 3 lookdev artists ( texture painters ) and 1 "engine" guy who ports stuff from 3d package to game engine ( does the collision stuff etc ). So we have roughly 9 models per working day, while modeler finished one model, the texture artists should keep up and be done before the modeler sends them another model to texture and the "engine guy" always keep up since he has the least work. So that's 9 complete models per day with working collisions etc.. and that would be 4-6months to complete the 1000 models which is pretty normal amount of time and i don't see where it takes "months" to do just the collisions ( unless they also reworking some of the models which was mentioned before ).

    So that's basically like selecting which objects camera bumps into and which goes through ( for example transparent metal fence - ignore, bush etc, window w/ or w/o glass - zoom in e.g. 50% of normal 3rd person view distance) if that's like that i doubt it would be months of work, but that depends on how the "CI" is setup and if it acts based on the object type or if objects has no type then probs it would be basically just work of patience and good planning how it should be e.g. change/add object param -> compile model -> repeat thousand times, if the camera behavior was poorly planned -> repeat the process on some assets or add sub-types. So like 50-100 models per day would be easy imo. I suppose things like that usually takes like few days to make atleast for these cheap AAA games.
