A long time ago, so the tower of Zelenograd in the early DayZ patches had a radio signal (voice message). It was possible to approach it and listen to the recorded sound "this message is broadcast every hour, do not fly here ..." But then the developers removed this script. What for? It was fun to hear, atmospheric. Why didn't you develop this direction? Please return the sound scripts. Has anyone ever played STALKER ? there are scenes where a mysterious voice accompanies you and it's very cool, makes you tense up and inspires fear. ... I remembered a cool scene from the movie "I'm a Legend" when the main character on the radio said-if you can hear me, then you are not alone... well, it sounded cool, don't you agree?

yes, Chernorus, without mods. I only remember that I almost pooped in my pants from fear (well, yes, you can say that-I sat down)

Can developers add things from mods to their servers (vanilla)?
maxon-69 posted a topic in General Discussion
Why don't developers take ready-made items from (free) mods? Can they contact the mod developers and ask for permission? The essence of the question is to combine the efforts of people who make cool mods with the main game. After all, developers can free themselves from routine work and focus on other things. If this happened , we would enjoy a great variety of content. And oh, yes - we would have had a helicopter. What prevents this? The concept of private servers? -
Yesterday I was running in the north, I was attacked by a bear, 20 rounds from an AK-47, reloaded and a minute later another bear. And a third in 5 minutes. The second bear managed to hurt me. Blood loss "+2" - Lost consciousness-Injected adrenaline-Screen black-Bandaging. All the bears were killed. Somewhere nearby I heard the sounds of another one. It was scary, the twilight, the mad attack of the bears at close range. This is the coolest case I've ever played in DayZ. I think it is not necessary to make stronger bears.

I almost don't play on the official servers, sometimes I go in, but the game slows down a lot. Maybe this is due to too much loot or because of a large number of players (which is unlikely). Or because of the fact that cheaters load the server? I don't know, I can only guess. In general, the official servers are very overloaded. A year ago, this situation did not exist. On unofficial servers, everything is OK. I always choose vanilla, without mods. Share if you have such a problem?

Why don't the developers try to make money on this game?
maxon-69 replied to maxon-69's topic in General Discussion
I think the lost profits are also in the millions. I understand that they sold a lot of copies. Do you think they don't need any more money? Enough money for 150 years? -
how does someone find my well hidden tent whithin 24 hours?
maxon-69 replied to Buddagee's topic in General Discussion
Place traps in front of the tent entrance + mines. They are just designed for protection -
* Add more wild berries in game to be found in forest. Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries. It's high time to do it !!!

3 simple and high-quality suggestions for the game
maxon-69 replied to maxon-69's topic in Suggestions
You think correctly and I like your ideas on visual feedback. Hunger and thirst, as you say, should also affect the game character. I would add that the hungry and dehydrated can't run. This is true in real life! As for the visual effects, it's cool, but I don't know how difficult it is to implement into the game. -
I have almost the same problem and also crashes. But it crashes mostly when I perform actions with objects. And I noticed that there was a hang when opening the inventory. (I have Windows 10, 16 gb memory and SSD) It became almost impossible to play. I tried to change the servers, but it doesn't help. (

I suggest the developers make money by selling starter loot. If you buy starting loot for 1$ so that players can appear with a minimum loot for survival. And everyone will be fine - the developers will earn extra money, it will be easier for players to start from scratch! Isn't that great?
-
Somebody knows? - If I burn loot in a barrel or in a fire, will it unload the server? Will the server be cleaner and more efficient? (at least a little bit)

Suggestions based on WOBO's latest video detailing changes to food in update 1.10
maxon-69 replied to DeepEuphoria's topic in Suggestions
how to add new types of fish for fishing enthusiasts? .. and alcohol to keep warm and cure colds? -
It's a pity that I found out about your server so late. I would play on your server 24 hours a day. Exactly what DayZ needs. I am upset that you have closed your server. Please let us know if you suddenly decide to return your server online!

What do the survivors expect from the new updates first?
maxon-69 posted a topic in General Discussion
1. I'm really looking forward to being infected by a zombie - I don't understand why it's so difficult to implement. This is the basis of the DayZ, how can a zombie game be without it ??? 2. Bow - how long all players have been waiting for it. How many more years to wait? 3. Stability of car driving. God, how tired of this problem. 4. Broken legs - just put this back in play. 5. Spear - I even forgot what it looks like 6. Helicopter - one can only dream about it, oh God DayZ 1.7 (origin) -
What is happening to official server
maxon-69 replied to Olivier Lamaignere's topic in New Player Discussion
Haven't played on official servers for a long time. I do not know. Did the crazy cheaters stay there? -
- fart sound when poisoned for fun)

Maybe the developers will read this simple suggestion for improving the game. I guarantee it's very easy to add to the game and will benefit everyone: - the sound of seagulls on the coast - the sound of frogs near reservoirs, ponds - the sound of blacksmiths in the fields in sunny weather - the sound of crows at the cemetery - creak of doors - the sound of the siren (in those places where the loudspeaker is installed, which is powered by a battery. Since almost no one uses these things and it would be cool if the players turned on the sound of the siren for fun) - I think many would like it! - the sound signal of cars is a really necessary thing! ... Survivors, what other sounds would you add ?

Food scarcity is good; Caloric value and time to starve is not
maxon-69 replied to Badwolvie's topic in Suggestions
I played somehow on a hardcore server with a minimum of food, where I was constantly dying from lack of food. Yes, cool, but tortured. As a result, except for the production of food, I did not have time to do anything else. And increasing the calorie content of food on vanilla servers is also not interesting, it will kill the gameplay. -
- heartbeat sound when severely damaged

After the last micro update, I have not been found sewing kit for several days. In Electro and Cherno - not anywhere. And in general, something strange with loot spawning. Have any of the players noticed this?
-
I also found a set for sewing leather, but only one in a few days, looted every home. But I didn’t find the sewing kit (white). A week ago, they met in almost every house. And this is very strange.
-
Thanks for the answer. Need balance - you're right! Ramdomny choice of closed locks would be the best solution. Campers will be anyway. Boring without them. I remember how I came under sniper fire in Cherno. My heart was beating like a machine gun. I experienced as in reality. In what game will you get so much adrenaline ??? The main target of this idea is to lower the search speed of loot and increase the value of civil loot. Stop the vacuum cleaners! It's interesting to play when there is a risk. Risk generates loot value and increases character value.

------- New concept in the game ------- Listen, what's the idea?: What if you go to the server and almost all the houses are locked. You have a new target - to find a sledgehammer to break locks in houses and find loot in them. But zombies react to the sound of a sledgehammer strike and your mission to quickly or stealthily search home will be doomed. And other players nearby will know about your presence. The sounds of a sledgehammer will cause a feeling of danger - because you know that someone is breaking doors and calling zombies. And this is a signal for killers. You will have to fear not only zombies but also other players. I always get scared when I hear the sounds of a shot nearby. And with a sledgehammer in your hands is a difficult choice, because you need to look for loot in houses. You will know that you cannot be unnoticed And broken door will mean that someone has already tried for you. Broken door - the house is empty, look for another. You will have to be afraid of zombies until you break the door lock. And you cannot loot the city in 5 minutes!!! Now you have to think, develop a strategy, look for a partner - which will help protect you from zombies while you hit the door lock. The master key will be a very sought after loot. Breaking door locks means spending extra time and energy and a sledgehammer takes up extra space - which together will bring additional difficulties to the game for fans of survival. Why is there a survival game if there are few survival elements in it? You will have to kill zombies near the house you want to loot. And your sledgehammer wears out and breaks. You have to choose what to loot and carry a spare sledgehammer with you. In the conditions of the apocalypse, when people left their homes - most certainly they closed them from marauders. So damn it - why not implement it in a zombie apocalypse game? And most importantly !!! -- it is very simple to implement. Developers do not need a lot of time and complicated mechanics to break door locks. It is only necessary to slightly change the parameters and add a new sound of a blow to the door lock. Very easy! I think everyone will benefit from this: Players will be able to get a new meaning in the search for loot and a new danger! Developers effortlessly diversify the game! What say, survivors?
-
From useful in your dreams - bird hunting is the best! Duck hunting is difficult to implement, but it would be super! the cries of seagulls on the coast, the sounds of crows in the cemetery - it's easy for developers, atmospheric!☕
