I wonder if there is a server out ther without military loot. I would love to play on a server where just civil loot spawns and only hunting rifles and pistols. No Automatic guns and platecarrier what makes the game the slaughterfest as it mostly is. I could imagine the military tents and baracs are all ruins and let just ruined (unrepairable) military stuff spawn since the army pissed off before they got raided or something like that. Or maybe replace them with craters and remove the military sht entirely from the loottable. I am not the guy that can make it happen. I tryed, but failed misrably even with the oflinemod. I also tryed to convince Lugge who made the Chiemse map but noone seems to share my desire for this idea. Maybe someone reads this who already made that kind of thing or is willing to make this happen. I would not be much help but I would try as best i can. Numerious people alredy called out my idea as stupid, so here you go.

I dont think they are american servers since I have around 70 Ping in Austria.

Found an server without Appletree on the coast. Someone killed them all. ^^ @Baty Alquawen : Can we keep that state of appletrees on this server for a while.

Partly thats why i dont do camps anymore. DayZ is now teaching me the beauty of chaotic firefights.

Last week i could switch orange to blue hood of trucks without tools, just in the Inventory. Tried again yesterday to make a "thre-colour-hippie-truck", but it did'nt work.

Invisible "Rocks" or so?! Crashed a Truck on the same location and a bit up to the castle and on the roads around. Wolfes, Zeds and Cars react to these "Rocks" but not the character itself. Bullets also go through like there is nothing. Shot a pack of Wolfes running around like 6meters high on invisible Rock. They were too "high" to spot me while i was shooting them! :-)

Clearing the NWA with an Amphibia is quiet a chalange. But thats the only way to get chalenged by Zed's because you need to headshot them. That trains the aim! Military-Infected do and take more damage than civilian's do and take. I think that this sytem is'nt working as it is intended to be. But looking at this placeholders and Beta ahead, I think we get what we want from those creepy companions in the future. They often have good cloth on them. I also wanna see this in their Inventory.

Love to see people fail to read at the serverbrowser to find their servers while knowing all sorts of tricks and glitches ingame! (saw me struggeling too) I personly started my DayZ's in November last year and i wished the Serverbrowser was there back then. As a NoobBambi i was standing in front of a wall of 1000's Servers. You know, i spent weeks to find out where to go (servers) and how its ment to be played beside my stumbleing and laughing about "how silly i could die". As a BambiNoob you will first see a handfull of official servers an you take one with good Ping and propper poupulation. Hard enough for the first dayz. If that gets you bored, you will find other servers in the "hidden" tabs. Many servers are too insane to start off with. I personly hope to see more freaky servers espezialy when modding comes in! I want: 1 Harcore-survival-server-without weapons / for the harcore survival. 1 Arcade-deathmatch-spawnwithgear server / for short sessions X Modded servers / for exploring new maps X Awsome servers i cannot imagine yet The filter is one thing, but the tabs make clear on what servers you can share your Toon! I personly would like to see : ---Offline---Official---Public---Private---Modded---another absolute crazy stuff i could not imagine yet!--- P.s.: The sound got even better specialy the static soundeffects bound to trees and branches knocking. Scary sht when playing with 7.1Headphones. I have to turn 7.1 off from time to time to get my heartbeat a little down. The overlaping of sounds from different areas needs to be tweaked. Got serious problems with cars driving on railroad tracks and forrest-roads in the west. There are invisible rocks which are only effects AI's and cars. I crshed so many cars because of that. Same like in Pustoshka next to the shop.

This is what I do when I switch: So I have the stable branch installed and I want to install Experimental: 1. Find where your "DayZ" folder is installed. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps) I rename it to "DayZS" (meaning DayZStable). 2. Right click on DayZ in your Steam Library and selected "Delete Local Content" 3. Navigate to the option to download experimental and do so. 4. Now I have Experimental downloaded and installed to play, and the Stable folder renamed DayZS when I want to play that. Then when I want to play stable again, #1. I navigate to the DayZ folder and rename the experimental install folder to DayZE (for DayZ Experimental). #2. Right click on DayZ in your Steam Library and selected "Delete Local Content" #3. Rename DayZS to DayZ. #4. Make sure you are not opted into experimental. #5. Press install the game and it will verfiy your files and your ready to play Stable in seconds without downloading the whole pile. Repeat these "#" action whenever you want to switch!

Agree, agree, agree. Indeed, its not the right time for ideas like that while waiting for the new playercontroller and all the new improvements on weapons in .63! I'm curious what it will be like. Are you a hunter or weapon dealer? Awsome knowledge. (i learned a bit) I also thought abot, atatching a scope to a weapon should not work without adjusting. (but i have no clue about weapons in reallive!) Dealing with a weapon and a scope should be more difficult and dangerus. Without any knowledge and a weapon, found on the floor with a scope freshly atatched, zeroing at 400meters, the first shot shoud never hit what expected. You are just loud with a gun if u dont know what you do and seriously no harm to other players or Zeds. Would be great if the devs nerf guns in such way when i look at all those kiddies, running around juggling with 3 weapons and acting with the accuracy of a western-hero! In an apocalyptic landscape I would expect "finding a gun" like: 1. Mostlikely damaged, so you have to clean it before use. 2. You have to test the guns with ironsights too and it should not be that accurat. So you have to know your gun! The same goes for adding a scope with the ability to adjust it! I hope this Idea ends up in a Save-folder of some Devs, because i think thats a kind of detail, that makes DayZ unique in difference to other "shooter games"!!

Nice, i didnt knew that. So I googled again: Armed Assault was written in SQF !? After that BI created the Real-Virtuality-engine for ArmA 2 -3 and Operation Flashpoint !? Why was DayZ written in SQF? Is DayZ that old?

As far as i know from 8-Bit-µC-programming in assembler: its always better to begin from scratch when u have too much problems with the old shit thats written. Hard work, but nothing fits better than underwear from the tailor. So there will be more space for modding. Do not ever stress a genius at work. I aprecciate the work and the time they put in this to create the base for more games like DayZ! Nevermind, I'll allways love Dayzy!

What language do you play in game? I changed my language to english and it worked in .61 ! I also tried a damaged one with a pestine battery in .62 and it didnt work. The damaged Flahlight worked with the same battery. So i dont realy know, juts try english in your game-settings! Please let me know if it works and how to do so!

I got washed up on Skalisty, and I'm realy not shure if this landing stage is new or if i never recognized it?! After getting shot before i reached the west, i met the first two players on .62. Everyone on the Hypetrain, we finished our first Zed together before we lost each other in Berenzino. Somehow the guy who painted the lines on the soccer-court was so drunk, he painted through the fence, the hous and finaly through the air to ... elsewhere! I got my car stuck, just before i found........... ................ this! ;-) Sinistok becomes a chairlift? Looks like a new freestyle-area! Whats next? Motocross? Not shure if this a Dead end or a Ramp?! Who said: You cannot hide in a tree in .62 ?!? Last but not least: Mother Nature!

I hope so! When there is a motocross-track, will there be motorbikes? On this steep hills, a bicicle would be enough, but in the meantime,I will give the bus a try. Also the canyon that follows the railroad to zelenogorsk is a good indicator that motorcycles are definitly in progress. All those hips and bumps ;-) Lets see what the future (.63) brings! Could be my new home there since the castle is not far away, the skiingarea is prepeared (just waiting for the chairlift), the forest ist stufft with curly roads and my favorit hunting-cabin survived the western expansion in Sinistock.

34 jear old from Austria (the one with the Goats, not the Kangoroo). I play this game for 6 month now. Mostly frindly and hiding in the woods playing with wolfs. Sometimes Beachparty with random deaths at Kamy or Berenzino. Slowly getting better in PVP-situations. I took my first steps and this game changes with every single step. I cannot imagine that this will ever get bored. Especialy with all the updates that changes gameplay, enviroment, AI......

1.: Patch .063? So the release date is set for 2030? Where did u get that "information" from? 2.: By the end of the year I may have uninstalled the game. You are playing the unfunny part of KOS! Avoid Public servers like sayd above. You can have a character on every private server each. So it's not that bad when getting killed on one. Also look for emty server if you enjoy wildlife. Otherwise, learn to deal with "You are DEAD" message every few hour until you're realy good and you are the one who's shooting! Ps.: Pretend tha people in DayZ are mostlikely Dicks! You will be surprised, some are not!
