    Adaptive V-Sync

ColdAtrophy: He could buy BenQ latest gaming monitor with 240 hz refreshrate. However if he dosen't have a gtx 1080ti or crossfired RX 580's he wont be pushin no 240 fps in cherno :)

    Adaptive V-Sync

The game doesn't have adaptive v-sync or not. It's what your monitor has. For AMD it's Freesync and for Nvidia it's G-sync. Since you have a graphics card from Nvidia you need to buy a monitor with G-sync. That's it.

    A few suggestions....

Stop whining you entitled manchild! IF you had bothered to catch up on where this game is now and what's about to come you could have saved your time by not spewing the amount of bullshit that this post contains. Put in some effort to get caught up on development or shut up and get lost. AND PS, THE GAME IS IN ALPHA MEANING NOT FINISHED!

    Leather crafting

Oh yes. I have several DayZ friends that are always looking for barrels to stash milgear in. They pretty much don't bother with finding and setting up tents. However now that I think about it, maybe I can use their barrels...BAZINGA! xd Seriously though, I would like to replace the barrel with something else or add another method with different drawbacks.
  6. I gotta say that's badass unless your trolling :)

    2016 In Review

Skimmed through most of it but this is awesome! I knew you guys had done a ton of stuff behind the scenes that most people didn't know about and it's great to see some of that here and lots of coming soon to the game. Keep up the good work you guys!

    Leather crafting

What's your thoughts on leather crafting requirements? In my opinion having to use a barrel severely limits players who like the leather clothing since barrels get hoarded quickly by pvpers. What would be a different solution to crafting leather without making it too easy?
  9. I agree with you Bororm. However since this game isn't finished yet the loot distribution is most likely not set yet and will change. But I'm also thinking that the way the map is currently layed out is also screwing up loot distribution. When south/southwestern spawns were in the best spawn without question was kamenka. And everyone who wanted the best gear in the shortest time would suicide until they'd get a Kamenkaspawn or close to it. That wasn't fun. I like that spawns now are limited to the east and just west of Electro however I would even limit it to only eastcoast but thats me. But like you say, now Berezino or Svetlojarsk are the goto spawnpoints. And I think these problems are not only because of loot distribution but of the map layout. Either like you say civ loot needs to be increased (not only guns/ammo mind you) and/or map changes to prevent best routes from emerging. I hope that DayZ will end up where coastal loot is limited to farming/vehicle/storage loot so the coast is actually a place where you spend some time before you venture further inland. The further inland you go less canned foods, more wildlife to hunt, perhaps harsher weather conditions, more civ guns/ammo, more predators, more infected and when you actually get to military locations they will be swarming with infected so it becomes a real challenge to loot them. And then Tisy being the endgame military location with tons of infected, poisonous gas, gasmask/hazmat suit requirement, predators and whatever else the devs have planned for it. It should be a really hard challenge to survive, get guns/ammo to defend yourself/your friends, build a base somewhere, protect that base, get working vehicles there without getting killed or robbed and finally getting the best loot from Tisy to your base.
  10. This game is in ALPHA which means the game is not feature complete yet. After beta is when modsupport will come and that's not coming soon. So you just have to deal with it.

    damage done by wolves

From my limited experience with wolves their damage is too low. However I think that the reason for wolves not being that much of a threat atm is because of the old player controller. My latest encounter with wolves was yesterday. I encountered them North of Gorka at 91.50/57.30 (check Izurvive). After missing my first 2 shots on them with a blaze I had to book it to Vyshnaya Dubrovka. I zigzagged almost the entire way there and the wolves only hit me a few times and if I hadn't zigzagged I probably would have died. I killed one wolf in Vyshnaya but then I was out of ammo. The rest of the night I went from house to house in Vyshnaya, Dubrovka and Khelm with zombies and wolves after me looking for rags, guns and ammo and luckily finding shotgunshells and a shotgun in Khelm where I finally killed the wolf leader and all the zombies from the safety of a log cabin. The rest of my playsession was spent in a house cooking all of my deer/wolfmeat and healing up. When the new player controller is implemented and we no longer have unlimited stamina and can't zigzag like crazy wolves will be a serious threat unless you have good weapons, plenty of ammo and good aim. Gunshots, torches etc scaring wolves away is not a good idea. It's realistic yes but then wolves will never be a threat.
