guy makes a pretty good case for pistol damg being about right in dayz atm

Went to willow and black lake last night, also saw the wreaked ship on the coast , that was cool but you should be able to get out to it and explor.

If you buff the pistols and shotguns then they will catch up with the other guns and the is a limit to how much you can buff everything. something will allways have to be the worst. The meta for dayz is long range sniping, Pistols, shotguns and SMGs allways will fall out of this meta. Having said that I do feel that something can be done to improve things. buffing shotgun damg at close range and giving them a heavy range drop off in damg and flight arc would help. also taking them out of the army tents and putting them into lower tier loot locations.

Hello to the great unwashed of chernarus. I am planning a sightseeing trip round cherno and would like to hear everyones favourite locations for sightseeing. My personal preferred locations are the radio tower on green mountain and the burned out village south of guglovo. Both places are soaked in atmosphere. Got to be more cool places to visit however so why not post up below your top tourist destinations and I will check em out and let you know what I think
