cant even describe how much I love this clip. so epic. ur server still going? just jumped back into dayz the other day and though I'm super dissapointed in the survival side of the game (seems like they are just working on making it as pvp as possible) I was in love with how smooth everything is now. looking foreward to many more hours of exploration. besides, I havent been on (for any extended play) since around the time of the Cherno changes so I havent seen any of the map changes. every town is exciting right now.

cant say I see the point in having that many variations on a server.... give me the .62 selection and I'm happy. hell just give me the craftable bow and fishing and I'll never complain again

having a hard time swallowing the fact that I paid $28ish cad for the game on PC when I bought it.... they are asking for $67 cad for it now on ps4.... that is just under 2.5 times the price I paid. they should offer a 50% discount for people who baught it early access. any more than that and I just cant justify buying it a second time.

fishing and craftable bows. I'd trade all the guns for fishing and bows. I miss the days of setting up a tent and barrel beside a lake, getting crops and a fire going, making leather clothes and fishing for hours on end. loved the whole never enter a city style gameplay (cept to get the tent of corse)

itll be done when its done. and they wil communitcate with us when they are ready to. posting a thread every day about how salty you are with them will do nothing to change this whatsoever. so... ya...... it kinda is...

why not find a server with increased zed count? instead of lowering ammount of loot, it would just make it much more dangerous and time consuming to search for the loot. not to mention that it would give u back the feeling that a small mistake at any time could cost u everything. @Guy Smiley might know a great server u should check out.

do people still buy blue Ray's? hell do people even download torrents instead anymore?

my bad bro. things just seemed to be gettin heated. i miss the good old days when we were all just as excited as each other and this forum (though there was still arguments) was FULL of positivity. hell i even remember a time when the diehard forum boys/gals exchanged addresses and shipped all their old parts to each other to build a pc for one of the people on the forum who was unable to play the game. now the forum reminds me of a menonite soup. lots of great stuff in it and brings wonderful flavor but god damn is it salty (might not be a good example. even with all the salt in the broth i usually end up adding a bit when i sot down to eat my bowl)

* Yeah, those players who don't understand Emuthreat - SCREW THEM * why all the hostility? notice how myself and @emuthreat have vastly different viewpoints on the concept of endgame yet we are able to converse about the subject without salt? i think in this instance it is all a perspective thing and as we all have different playstyles it will always come down to agreeing to dissagree (hopefully while acknowledging the merit of the opposing viewpoint and respecting the oppinion of the person on the other side of the discussion). to be honest i dont particularily dissagree with emu even. i think we just have different viewpoints on what word should be used to describe the stage of gameplay, which is actually kind of silly. if i would compare the situation to real life i would use age maybe. if im understanding correct he is saying endgame would basically be after you are retires and have done all the traveling u can do and all u have left is mowing the lawn and waiting to die. a more than valid oppinion with incredible merit. only difference to the oppinion i hold would be that i would push it back to the paliative care stage, because u are still stuck mowing that lawn and waiting. i guess im just being too technical and saying "it cant be endgame cuz the game isnt over" when he is merely saying (not tryin to put words in ur mouth bro) "the game is basically over, it just has an incredably long end scene" to be honest, i dont think anyone is wrong here.

i would agree with ur statementthat endgame is different in all of these situations. I would even agree that this is a stupid arguement. but instead of it being the kid coming up with random what ifs in class its actually a few of yhe stupid kids beong explained by the teacher 10000 times and still not getting it. the diehard fans here are being aggravated by the term endgame being used at all. all of your examples are of games that have an endgame goal. the only goal in dayz that is static across all characters and all players is not dieing. therefor the only endgame would be to die. everything else is just things to do while you are fighting to avoid getting to endgame. a mushroom collecter isnt at endgame when he gets all the mushrooms because he still has to find something to do untill he dies. therefor having 85% of the mushrooms would still not be endgame for him. not to mention there is no diminishing returns in dayz as you are either alive.... or dead

we used fragnet back in .52 - .54 and i would definately use them again. we never had any problems. was quite a bit more expensive then we could afford to keep up but was a good experience while it lasted.

they would be smart to wait for ps4 release as long as possible. releasing on ps4 could be the hype they would need to resurrect the game after they are done adding in the content and fixing bugs. would be another large surge of buyers once the game is actually complete

could they not just add a pop up style box when joining a server (that has no current active character of yours) prompting you to create a name before you spawn in? it could pop up again when u click respawn to allow you to change names with any given character death

is hard enough as it is to attract people to private servers. the game is less fun without a fullish server. try keeping your player numbers up when the players get banned left and right. you gonna wanna play your server once all 6 of the people you are able to attract to it are banned and you are all thats left?

why should it be harder? you realize that the combination lock in game is a simple bike lock right? in real life you would bike to work lock your bike to a sign or bike rack and head in for a minimum 2 hrs or so before going on break. if i sat and put my mind to it (in high school days we broke many a lock) i could have ur bike in a half hour or so and be on my way (and im not even practiced at it). If you want a game where you can build and store things and have everything be completely safe why not play something like the sims instead. or maybe build a smaller base in a harder to find location. not trying to be a dick but seriously if they make bases take 3 hrs to break into then they would be making it crazy unrealistic and last i checked the game is supposed to be a real life survival simulator.....

i get the purpose of reviews but i feel posting them here or any reactions to reviews here lacks in significance whatsoever. the only value of a review is either in the eyes of someone to stupid to form their own oppinion or someone qho isnt sure they want to spend some coin and givin a look. if the review is read by someone who already plays the game (anyone here) they will either agree with the review and say its a great review or they will dissagree and the review is stupid. either way the review is utterly useless to the seasoned player. besides even new players should stop reading reviews i dont need some ideot telling me what to play and what to hate. i read dozens of reviews tearing fallout 76 to pieces only to find out that aside from a crash now and then that i love the game. basically im glad im not one of them ideots that puts value into what some 19 year old twat thinks about his experience playong a game.
