And what if the devs do what people ask but people change their minds? https://forums.dayz.com/topic/234636-what-is-stopping-the-devs-from-upping-the-difficulty/?tab=comments#comment-2353096 The devs can not and should not listen to everything they read. They have an internal roadmap to follow. And this goal will never offer justice to all. Many things about discomfort are small things, usually just "balance things". but adjusting these will be pointless before everything around it is really stable. As an example: Ok, they reduce the thirst / energy consumption (you could also increase the amount of food to accomplish the same, or could give the food a lot more calories, all things balance, table values). That would mean that we need much less time for survival. That means we have much more time for what? yes for what .... for everything that is not in the game yet? Again there will be complaints ... it is boring. Or you get used to the "Garden of Eden" and will fall into the deep end when "features and influences" that all come into play once again difficult to make (diseases, moisture, heat, cold and so on.) Suddenly, you'll have the free time which had previously been magnified lost again. A new wave of complaints will begin. I am convinced that the devs know many complaints, but they deliberately do not react because things are going to change that they will solve themselves.

The only point you could criticize would be the broken windows almost every walk-in building has. But this is a technical decision. The world of Chernarus otherwise has a completely legitimate look in terms of time / setting / place of action. (I was in Egypt 1 week ago, and was visiting a city, not a city for tourists, no, just a city as it appears in the poorer areas.) People I tell you the only thing better was the city, the windows were the Inhabited buildings .... the rest was in worse shape than in Chernarus, I do not even start to talk about garbage / rubbish because Chernarus is a very clean country, the fact is the Devs are doing well and many if not all Things have their permissions and considerations. (If modders make the same maps with so much love and playability, then we'll have to wait a long time .... or have a crying eye because the time and effort was not to connect with the technique: Bamburgh 2017Mod Arma 3)

Internal testing of the new content update 26/07/2018

Great comparison, sounds like: I love apples, but when the pear comes, all will eat only pears, because they are the same fruits. -

Ok, that means there's still plenty of time to get meat / coal / beer and sun cream for the weekend to have a nice BBQ under the open sky ... with open end of course. Oh yes, memo to me: cut the branches for the sausage. In the sense, happy weekend to all. -
Many underestimate the power that marketing can have. It's something that BI has not touched until now, and with good reason. The most important reason for this is that we immediately click away at the start of the game .... And there are a lot of people out there who do not know or say anything about Dayz .... oh ... there's something going on, let's just wait and see what which gives. Anyone who plays the game NOW .... is a tester of an alpha version, nothing more, nothing less.

How can I help translate DayZ into other languages?
Sqeezorz replied to lacountread's topic in Suggestions
Are you sure ? ;-)) -
Luckily we do not have zombies in DayZ, but ONLY a land infested with a very weird infectious disease, which does not make it so easy for the player to "survive" unless there are many other players on the server. DayZ would also work without the Infected, but they are a part of the game that distracts you from other dangers, the greatest danger, other players.
-
Push the Key upper the [TAB] its called Tilde [~].
-
And please do not forget: DayZ is not ready yet, because every soup tastes bland if you first have hot water in the pan.
-
But the night brings no real survival benefits compared to the day yet. The only fact so far is who plays with High Gamma is superior to the players who play with normal settings. So far, only the Infected are a little less alert to the players (which could be the biggest advantage in some areas if they are really dangerous!). If all the animals that are planned are implemented in the game, they should, depending on the species, be faster and easier to hunt at night than during the day. (This should also have an impact on traps, the night needs more Advantageous Incentives ).

Sounds very much like Uups, ouch, heeelp. jumping with wrong / bad or too much gear should put you in danger of injury. Just like jumping out of height, the higher your weight / equipment the higher the impact on injury / risk when landing. It would only be pure logic.

Internal testing of the new content update 19/07/2018

They will surely do that too. But since we have Friday night, it will happen on Monday at the earliest ... because everyone likes to have a weekend with the family. -

Good communication, thanks to the devs and a nice weekend, to all. -
Environmental influences, diseases and the possibility of building an improvised tent .... then 0.62 is the past for me, then lets go to 0.63

What would you do if they removed third person view?
Sqeezorz replied to fosty99's topic in General Discussion
The advantages of 3pp to combat should be filled with disadvantages in this attitude. (For example: 3pp is only possible with an empty hand slot, which does not solve all the advantages, but breaks the advantage of seeing the wall to shoot, because the handling of the slot change should make audible noises.) Surely a suggestion of me no Applause from the world will bring. -
What would you do if they removed third person view?
Sqeezorz replied to fosty99's topic in General Discussion
I think the poll here will not bring an authentic result. Here are mostly members who know what DayZ is, and therefore also very well agree with 1pp. Out there, however, there is another majority who play or love DayZ differently. (There are also understandable reasons that speak for 3pp, for example, motion sickness). -
I've also thought a lot about why! the dispersion is no longer implemented. One possible fact could be that there will be a lot of influences in the endgame that will not let your character be quiet. Cold / Heat / Humidity / Diseases / Hunger / Thirst / Injury / Exertion / Stamina and maybe other parameters will leave you feeling restless. Ok, it's a point to act on. On the other hand, what if you're the perfect gear and in top-fit and healthy? Then you have the big advantage over everything. This contradicts the novice friendliness, because exactly they will have the greatest challenge with these parameters. My still hope is still that the dispersion of weapons with Scopes is used.

@Beavis3D oh... so beautifully and so well formulated what these branches mean. Unfortunately, these words drip on most of the "gameplay moreloot critics" like water on a lotus leaf.

0.63 Experimental Release Check list
Sqeezorz replied to Baty Alquawen's topic in News & Announcements
The first experimental version is available. So an "open work for experimental" section does not make any more sense. -
Be patient, the way will end. With a bit of imagination we will end up with stress test # 63 ... why 63? yes think it's the launch of 0.63 ... oh wait ... x100 ... well then it will be stress test # 630 .... it's a lot but it's the horizon .... and no, I'm not taking any drugs.
-
It is certainly not completely clean and I apologize for sharing this "black matter". The idea and implementation to the video, however, is good.
-
I completely agree with the idea. The time has not yet been born. With beta release or with the Fullrelease 1.0 I agree.

Spawn less food, allows us to go longer without food.
Sqeezorz replied to Saylor Twift's topic in General Discussion
A vision of D.Hall and B.Hicks was, "You'll be so happy to find a can to eat". This way the devs start to shape. But until that happens, it takes some time to get all the mechanics into the game, so that this experience also gives you an experience. -
Question: will that change our understanding? Let's see it better / faster or what. There would be only fuel for Hater, because the good is always one step back.
