    A beer increases your ping virtual by 75. so I can make myself laagy server itself ... 500 is unplayable ^^

    One hit by a zombie?

    Yes really, I'm dying too rarely. Since I'm only on RP'Server and currently on Exp play my death is something rare. If it comes to that I die by a firefight, then it comes very spontaneously, usually it is then a KoS Headshot .. So Blackscreen and YAD .. the remaining deaths end slowly and with agony ... wolves..Zeds and evil rocks .

    Status Report - 04 April 2017

    A big praise to this status report. Just the part of Eugene and thus also the speeches of peter mirek adam and viktor show me that you do not want to "only" make a DayZ. No you work on the "True epos Dayz". I am convinced you have installed a lot of interesting features that show us Chernarus from a completely new site. There are already in the current Stable / Exp. Version many things that let me guess what comes. I think there is only one example: the variety of shoes ... if my hope becomes true, then I will be a player who will not wear military boots anymore in the final version, because the disadvantage for my play style will be too big. It is not a discusion tread but a presentation of the SR. But I've noticed something in the last 2 SR's which only pleased me, the longer I look at it, questions arise. It is about the pictures with the HUD. First the left side. Volume of player to the environment and the stamina. 1) do we really need that? Eugen explained how selfish of textures and items will have influence in scripts with animation and sound / renderer. To the point: why does it need the volume ... I do not even notice how loud I am? The Stamina .. I hear my Char not how he comes to its limits? I would like to feel this with sound and rendering (slight blur of visibility with the exhausted or winking eyes), and can be perceived along with the bearer. The right side: The status values are shown here. But must the arrows be? I will lose water, always and every time. If I have hot then I will need more water, which is normal. I wish I had only the status icon change the color to show me where I stand. When I'm wet, my temperature drops (from bright green / best feel-good zone, then changes to ocher / light blue / blue and with freezing brown and with hypothermic red or even red pulsating). Also here I would like that I logically want to think about what has influence on my status. The ad should only show me in what range I am. I'm honest I do not like these arrows ... I just want arrows that I can make myself for the bow. I know still is nothing Final, that makes me hope for a great Game AND for more fun from Baty ^^ .

    Only a shining torch will give you certainty about what the fart was from the bush. Makes it so the dark remains what it is, black must remain black, even if it is made to bright black with hardware regulators.

    Absence of formal sidechat in DayZ SA is a pain.

    This is only a good option for Exp. Everything else does not make a positive sense, at least in the present state of the game because the rate of abuse is far higher than real intentions. (This is rather bad for new players).

    Wow. Very good ideas. The one with the bloodbag is extremely clever and meaningful. Criticism only with the battery ... I would rather a dynamic consume one as a player recognizes. In the case of a flashlight, the light also decreases with the battery becoming worse. Or radios begin to rustle and crack as signs of bad batteries. With the Walk of Hordes I find great, it would have to be so while watching a wandering horde just curses or good hiding the life. They should be extremely dangerous (very high one hit chance) so you can also save a lot of AI resources. (1-2 master AI the big rest as slaves). The wear of the weapons is a chic addition (could have effect on stamina). With the rest I hope this is really implemented. At the end thumbs up for the loving presentation of the ideas.

    Yes it is possible that you a zombie almost! One hit can. As you describe it, I try to give you a logical explanation. The first zombie that ruined the vest could land a critical hit with you. The sign of the vest wanted to tell you that the hit on the upper body was. Your bony system has been damaged. The second zombie may have given you with a normal hit. But since your bone system was very weak, this hit came to death. If you had taken a split / morphine after the hit of the first zombie, then the second would not have been so bad. Wolves can do this too, but they aim at upper body and head, so here also no message about bone damage (report comes only with leg and arm -> old controller problem). Edit: this give my a good idea to test the different zombie Hits on Exp... thx for status window. Top Secret message: (You can walk without shoes ...your health go down just to max. 1000 then end the red messages an the damage of health. Run of Streets make 0.1 Damage per second.. on fields rocks an overland streets the damage is 1.2 D.p.s. and at least the forest are the real killer of your feets.. 3! D.p.s. ... you can 1.5 h run in the Forest and your Health goes to ~ 1000 (ö_ö)

    If the vehicles are in an oblique position are the things to Russian tanks, I trained myself today with an fire-axe at a Sedan to Hulk Holgan ..... just before i exploding in front of the monitor, the Sedan finally ran into ruined ... I Love DayZ. :/ :O ;))) roflcopter

    CLE still a mess

    With the CLE the way of the players can be formed. It will always remain dynamic as long as it is in the hands of Devs. It is what creates the change and always gives new impetus and inspiration.

  15. It is true that it is meaningless. But I'm also too stupid in gametracker or steam to look at how much players are really on a server ... the indication low, medium, high is completely ok. their own Ping can be seen was a good thing, that's something I miss.

    CLE still a mess

    The CLE is one of the biggest toys for the Devs. They can play with us, they look at how we react to change, whether we can adapt to it and what the consequences are. Many things that look like a bug at first sight are so wanted, just to test how it affects the game behavior. You can also set the spawn rate of all automatic weapons to max 5 per server, then good luck when looking, and I already hear the owl about the evil devs. We will see some changes of the loot system until there is a final consideration for the vanilla-version, on privatservers the CLE will also be the first thing that is mercilessly changed ......I hope only that there are limits from Dev.

    The point of the big risk to new player leave the game in short time. Killed by players or influences of the game world (f11 as an exception perhaps?) Must not lead to a punishment.

    some patience. Many things will only make sense in the game when the new controller is implemented. The old controller simply does not have enough capacity to handle everything, which was certainly one of the reasons why the team decided to step up completely. Arma is mil-sim and DayZ is survival-sim. with high military background but open acting.

    I have already tested this. But it is to say that there are many spawn points for AI. ---> logoff in an area where there are many AI-Zed. (I was south of Polesovo, there are few houses, good view). Then log in again, best other server (if you can see after the spawn AI was or is another player in the area). After the spawn of you, you will not see AI, look around and move a few meters. With some luck will see the birth of the AI ... they fall from 1m from the sky. You can repeat this several times and the result is almost always different ... it also takes about 10-60! Sec until you see the first. The detection to the AI spawn are only YOU in the network bubble .. the number seems random, however if you move much more appears also more. I could not say the 2x an AI was in the same place, it feels more like a range (the range is not very large 5-10 meters, in the field it is also not easy to define).

    To create a balance is possible with a cooldown of the respawntimer. Long life will be rewarded, and kills will be forgotten. All in dependence of the real playtime. But this is a tricky thing because we do not know what else is coming, maybe we have a lot more problems with 1.0 than kill other players.

    You can also turn this system over. Reverse Increase Respawn. In words: every time you kill a player, increase your own respawn-timer by 5-10 min. Which means that you will pay the penalty at your own death. So a Bambi is not punished who fights for his life and dies by KoS. The killer piles up his own risk account when he dies. So you have to consider whether a kill is useful or not.
