you lucky mushroom, i have search in one week (playtime ca. 10 houres) not one wolve seeing or hear.... and i have search this wild dog in the completly nord aera on severo est/west.

Then I bring black ink. We have read and seen of 0.62 items all said: this is not final yet. And yet we have not seen anything about the great railroad project ... only once was it mentioned. Either we wait a little longer or there is a surprise. So soon or a little later.

The topic here brings me to a strange idea. Veteran Server hives with different degrees of difficulty. 1) veteran-casual (3pp/ 2x casual loot & food-drinks / moderate infected / "not more weapon & ammo !" / easy-to-moderate character values and influences [energy/sickness/temperatures and more]) 2) veteran-hardcore (3pp/ cli and character values/influences more strong i.e. stand of game now or a little bit harder) 3) veteran-nightmare. (1pp / very less food & drinks / strange & many infected / hight influences of all world values i.e. rain/temeratures / rare weapons or ammo --> CLI table have many important items at a deep value... in short words --> the real hell to survive [ hope on fix the appletrees ^^] ) This should be by BI with cle and character parameters a simple thing. Crazy idea .. I have also slept little that night, forgive me.

Correct. The Crosshair is only visible if you have a shot-weapon in your Hands. With melee weapons you have "no-crosshair". I play very often only with melee or empty hands and in 1pp. no matter whether 1pp or 3pp server.

Throw away everything you wear. Everything up on shoes / hose / jacket and you can 10min. Full running. (Content of the clothes to be let ... the time to throw away is not you anymore, I think you have not 8 big stones stacked in your jacket ^^ otherwise you are the wolf from the 7 goats [the broders Grimm])

Maybe this helps you to "rethink": the better clothes / container so is its content. Pristine pants 4/4 damaged 2/4. A damaged knife/axe gives you only 50% material (instead of 3 sticks only 1 or 2 ---> rest you have to throw away to simulate it). Yes you are right. I referred to the genre "Survival". In addition, LiF (Life is Feudal) comes to mind. I'm more concerned about the engine part and what is possible with it. LiF has many "characteristics" of DayZ in technical sense. But already there you can detect enormous problems. For example: size of the map, number AI, detail rich, animations. I do not want to say that all the "similar" Dayz games are bad, it is about the comparison of the feasible. There are the big differences. -

All these clones will fail at what BI has led to the development of a new engine. All face the same problems when it comes to inserting certain things. That is why it takes so long with BI and all others move faster in the development. The difference will only be seen at the end. -
I have now looked once what weight I have worn in my military time. On the hikes (up to 50km) was the completely 22kg. But that was only with walking and without running. In the combat was light equipment which was on completely about 12kg. And yes the cookingpot is never in the pants but rather the pants. ... that was the clac-clic-clac while walking. I have search my old military reglementation-book with details to weight. Edit: the max. weight are 34kg thats with all stuff to beginn and at the end to the "military hollydays". ( its really a lot of, for walking and to travel).

Damn, now I see the meaning of the OP. Own rules and regulations for a journey through Chernarus. 14kg I find relatively low .. up to 20kg. I do not want to interfere, but the idea behind it I find nice. What can still be gained today on a voluntary basis, this will be something to do with final SA and access to CLI.

If the public servers are omitted, only the private servers remain. This also means that the logs and admintool can be extended. A admin abuse on a private server hurts in the first line the owner itself, since here no transit tourists will arrive as it is on public the case. An extension of the admintools and logs to public would be used 90% to the abuse without large and fast consequences of the visitors.

No the option is no longer available. You can only crosshair on / off. That it is only the two sickles are intentional. You should see your target and aim with the sight of your weapon. With meele or in the world it should show you the area. (I even prefer crosshair off server ... it's clear of eyes drugs and shows the real Chernarus, but that's just my opinion.)

There should be a possibility to get in tents, or to crack them. Even if the only possibility is to ruin a tent so that it falls as a "wreck" like a vehicle there, which has no collision of the walls. Clearly so all the objects were ruined in it, and the time should not be too small to destroy a tent. It should not go with any weapon or tool. Locking zones simply destroy the balance, just at DayZ with its fine loottable. With the later base construction, there will certainly be other ways to make a base "relatively" secure .. but if Hicks said: every base is acceptable, then it must apply for everything. Like as Shakespeare: Safe or not Safe...thats the Question.

Why it is so and not otherwise: (in a language they all understand) The construction company BI has built a house. After or during the construction they noticed that the foundation of the house are too small and unstable was calculated for her 5 floor building, it was only for 3 floor. So they decided to build a new foundation and build it. At the moment they are at the completion of the raw construction. The roof, the roof tiles, the windows, the doors, yes even the curtains and the TeleVision furniture are finished, but they have to wait, wait until the raw construction is finished .... window insert does not go if the section yet Is prepared, even the curtains would fall to the floor without the windows. That is why DayZ is so, the roof can never be the first of the house and a TV on a meadow without walls, floor and roof is also shity when the rain is coming. The devs rewrite the physics and do not take preprogrammed plugins. This does not make it simple at first. But it is still a step that the Devs have 100% themselves under control. It is well possible that they succeed in doing a great job of the server to push the client, but with the server to control. We just need some patience. Cheers. -
I have only played on public servers at the beginning of Dayz. It was a 1/10 experience ... often kicked .. after 2-10min. (Low-pop) or direct on the coast (Cherno / Elektro KoS), then I was looking for private hives. The veteran servers are mostly empty because they can not be "controlled". It is a double-edged sword. For honest communitis, it is a shot in the back, for Duper and Hort based players a good step. I myself support a private community, but can also well understand speakers like @Tazhar. The solution should be a mixture: only public veteran servers AND approved by Bohemia and also with details of the tenants for public servers. These servers could then also be monitored by BI, so as veteran servers. That would separate a lot of wheat from the shit. It should not be that a few white sheep have to pay because of a large quantity of black sheep. In short: it may not be so easy to get a public server.

I do not like to comment as cross-beginners such texts. I am only for 2 years the drug DayZ and its development expired. That it needs here to the mentioned 0.62 its time but I can understand from the reports of the SR (thx Eugen) relatively well. It is in the rework of Chernarus by far more than just new trees and animated ants-hills. All new and all "old" textures get additional new values, the "characteristics" of the textures have to be created in order to harmonize with the new audio system. This also takes a lot of time, reflections, polls and tests. In addition to this, despite the specially created tool, a lot of work to lose, but the fine grinding is still done manually and also this takes a lot of time, time to do, and before time to consider and compare. Chernarus still haunts me today ... you walk through an area and always discover something new, even if it is just an empty can and waste in the forest. And here I put my thoughts on .... what if I run through the forest and run over an empty can? And it starts to ring to brass ... if I want to hunt my booty is warned and runs away. Good thing will take time. I am 46 years old ... if I am at 1.0 47 or 48 years old I do not care ... maybe I'll try to wait for a trip to Praque or Aussig .. in a hoodie / jeans and a can of beans.

As described in the current SR by Eugen, you can use the new scriptsystem to influence a large number of influences and parameters. I hope here synonymous with the softskills a lot is feasible. (Firedrill, and other actions that do not succeed immediately, so a certain rate to the failure). Even with these parameters, it should also be possible to create some places with only tactics or extreme caution and consideration to master a militarybase, for example, without dying. I firmly believe that the Devs paths develop the much what was now "simple", to a challenge. With the temperatures I find good, but should be attached to the map. Coast mild climate and north / west hard rough climate (day / night comparison and season). I am now at a point where I do not want to make too much wishes, because I a) Devs trust that they know what to do and b) I do not want to break the anticipation.
