    yes i think so. but, lets test to see the truth. What we do not know is how much the "lag time" of the animals is after logging out. But a good approach to solving these riddles.

  5. Right, this is my hope to 0.63 A way that the game really requires to have more than a stone knife and a few apples.
  6. In a nutshell: the behavior of the players will only change if the gameplay changes. If the changes are incomming then: Some or many players will "scream with joy" and others will "scream with rage". I think there is only because I will die 2-3x just because I absolutely want to have an M4 / AK, because I have with the Sporter the feeling a "nothing to be". Only when the anger of the Apocalypse drives us into madness, Then we will also close together and see players as their own chance to move something in Chernarus. If we die because of hunger because only one apple is on the tree, or 2 infected us the access to the house where the can of beans lies, because we have no clean rags or alcohol, no safe meele weapon .... small things the now Never been a problem, become a challenge. Only then will something change. And this will be at the earliest with beta no matter what we are discussing. Until there is "interaction" (no matter in which form and course) takes place only on some servers (private) ... on public it needs what is written above. PS: A confusion actually, there are currently few players playing the DayZ, and the less there is, "Team-mates and buddies" are searched in all forums, because their own mates do not play the game anymore. Ingame will be anything and everyone "instant-killed" .... for fear or frustration or boredom .... any one or one of your victims could be your new buddy. A spiral in the zero point.     Character Value: A discussion.

    Hmmm.. Question, where is the meaning in a game from the genre "Survival" ? Hmmm, at the head scratch....... Defining a value for a character is not easy. The value should primarily contribute to the fact that we as a player feel our character as valuable. This should not however be in the form of rank lists and awards, because this leads to the first misuse. A value must exist in the game itself. A very complicated task for the Devs that the value can not become divine exploitation. But one thing it must contain and this is in my opinion the time of survival .. one of the basic values. The game must be so that all players must fight this value ... together against the deadly world of Chernarus.
  8. You're right. But ... exactly that creates a new point of view. There is no "my base" in this view so there is only "a base" it would be the pure hardcore version of a "difficulty level public Hive". Important: This can only be done if there are several "different public hives". For new players, this is a nightmare, as it would not be possible with a buddy together to go to a server. >>>The whole head cinema please do not take too seriously ... that was an idea which I had in 2 seconds under great tiredness ×_× <<<

  10. DayZ does not currently have any mechanics who stop KOS. There is no use to let another player live. More interaction will only come in when there are mechanics, there is a need for other players to go further or even survive. I think of things like the bood / saline bag. What if you need a syringe because every wound of an infected can mean your creeping death? Do you go alone in a certain area where especially Strong fast cleverly infected, just to risk your life for a weapon or a few cartridges? At the moment you can do EVERYTHING alone ... will it be so? Something else . When my head cinema is running: what if there is only so many public servers will be always full? Which means you can only join there at the last one that still has space? (A system that only opens a new server when all others are full or nearly full). You will have to live there with the people you meet ... no player will really interact if he has no reason or use to do so. These interactions that are now there are very rare, on public I have never had a positive encounter, on non rules private I have already experienced interactions ... not always survived but there were words. Only on RP, the whole can be done in one frame, but there it is Showplay / Scriptplay or transparent to see the end.

    Your objection and your criticism is certainly not wrong. It is hard to believe that these problems with 0.63 should simply disappear. On the other hand it is so that the current Stable (also Exp.) Is a huge patchworksystem which contains a lot of rust and transmission damage. The current bugs or mechanics which are improved in the old system are only on the hardcode page. Everything else simply makes no sense. And what works with the factory version or helps, is in the old system only little or not so helpful. A thirsty way lies in front of us, but there is still a life outside of Chernarus, the PC does not take us angry if we now where it is warmer, out there and 1 beer drink ... or 2 or 3 ... Or .. hicks. ;<))

    Hi. No there are not different loot servers. DayZ has changed. You can no longer trust in chunk food. You must now also find alternative types of food. That is, apple trees, berries, fish, chickens or other animals hunt and fry their meat and eat, or the cultivation. We are now where it was with the patch 0.55, only we adapted to this situation because it was made step by step and not as radical as from 0.54 to the beginning of 0.55. Use the mechanics of the game, and you will be stuffed. Your experience is the level. Edit: and go away from the coast in the west from Chernarus... here are differend and more food/loot.But a survival on the coast is still possible, just no longer only with cans foods, or just very hard.

    [REVIEW] Dynamic Spawning of Infected

    @ Kopo79 I can tell you there some experiences of me. 1) the spawnradius (player network area) of infected is very large, I could never see with a huntingscope how infected spawn they are always there what you can see at this distance. The radius is very large which is almost only possible with a Lada is fast enough to approach an area to observe the spawn. But you have to be fast and know where to look. 2) a see of infected tells you so not that it has other players, provided you are a while on the server (more below). 3) the infected disappear when you logout makes sense, it relieves the server. If you are away and no other player in the span of the AI is then it is senseless to calculate the AI further. 4) If you eliminate infected, then the server has a cooldown for new spawning of AI, which applies to "your" range. If another player comes into your area, the cooldown will still run. You could be warned otherwise, on the other hand it would be a player notice if he comes into your "clean" area wherever infected, and then there is none. (Therefore my tip: reste live and safe the infected;)). 5) if you log off and log in again shortly thereafter (if deun system is quite fix with login -> game on ssd) then you can watch with luck the birth of the infected .. psst I write very quietly: "they become 1m Born above the ground, in the fresh air of Chernarus ". But if you can see the new log in it already infecdet has run around and their food search, then you know that you are not in your area alone .. I mean as a player. A little story from me: My character, Thondra Stingbro has been a long time in Chernarus, he lives on an RP server, has been under the bridges at home for 20 years. It was on a sunny morning in Chernogorsk when he drank at the well and did not notice an infected woman wanted to attack him from behind. At the last moment, Thondra noticed what was happening, jumped up and ran off ... he ran around his life until he realized shortly before the total exhaustion that the infected woman had lost the interest in him. That made the breathless Thondra stupid ... he could see that the woman stopped and only looked to him. That aroused Thondra's interest in the woman in the black fishnets and the red dresses.     Q&A with Map Designer Adam Franců

    The zero point of Chernarus lies in the south / west corner. An enlargement to south or west would mean that the complete positioning system would have to be moved. The x / y is certainly not the problem .. rather the heights (z) coordinates would bring a mess (i think that i this problem read omg im not sure at which point) . Against an expansion to the north or east (islands) nothing is technically safe. However, an increase also brings loads to the server. I think there only to the CLE and the AI. Some air is certainly there still exists ... But the answer will surely have Adam in stock. The ideas of GameInTheorie are all really very good.

    This is what now sounds different. They specify a time horizon, but do not make any promises about the content of this. They say we'll deliver something by then. If it goes well, then it will be more, if it goes bad, then it will be less. In my opinion a good consideration. This gives the Devs a room to work, there is some pressure away and it is an announcement with the one community should be satisfied.

    good question. I think the spawning system is always the same, whether it be animals or infected. It feels like any unit has a spawn rate. Chickens and infected certainly have 100% and other animals a much deeper. Also it is so the chickens and infeced have a very large number of spawn points. Cows / deer / wolves have much less dense spwanpunkte and together with the spawn rate they become a multiple rare. I have observed that in the zone Berenzino and Severograd much more often Cows are to be found than in other places.

    I have a few questions gone through my head. 1) Do you have restrictions with regard to the size or the size of the map (memory size with regard to consoles or downloads, i means the memory/data size not the physical map size ) 2) often now already read the people want more house diversity -> it is also possible the dynamic texture behavior as in the trees Add (must be a logaritmic code for at all user have the same viewing ? Or its random i.e. the tree-system ? ) 3) it will be possible to use engineered paint spray cans to mark surfaces of the surface (graphitis). Edit to 3): I mean more graphitis in selected form to "paint" on a surface like a Door. ( own random pictures are a big mountain to work and not good --> to mutch abuse [political/rassime]) I mean this: Sry im not found with english. (Catching dog / here are police / people call police) (Make of godness / here are none / gifts for work) (Possible to camp / here are money-loot / make like a cat and you become wath you need ) (Here are food / make play of sickness and you win / keep out)

    Hello Sumrak At first a big thanks at you and your team, You are doing a wonderful job with our Chernarus, I have already seen a lot of things and yet I always find something new, even if it is only a small detail. It is almost everything I asked what I wanted to ask, except for one that is dear to my heart. I would like to start with this question: is it planned or possible that Chernarus gets the year in nature? I do not mean just the autumn or even the winter. I ask you, will there ever be seasons with all its beautiful and unsightly sides? And now no matter how the answers will be: continue to do so.

    Stable v Experimental

    1) At the moment there are only very slight differences between stable and experimental. On Experimental are only small updates to fix relevant core errors, which are then pushed to stable. 2) Whether it is worth playing, this is something that has to decide for itself. It depends mainly on your own preferences and expectations. You will get 1000 different opinions on the forum path .... in the time the wasted for it, it would be better if you make yourself a picture of DayZ. Then you have the impression of being fit to yourself. My opinion.

    And there's still something to add: DayZ 1.0 will not be the same as DayZ Mod. It will also attract a new and different group of players. This over years like the alpha now. They will get their money, I have no worries.

    We're talking about ~ 8 months. A relatively long time. I guess it is still a dynamic process in the Dev team. The '62 team will be rather finished with his part to join the '63 team. It's probably one thing as well it runs the '62 team (no FPS-blockers or other problems or simply loving detail work). It is therefore hard for the management to say WHEN the date is. They learned a lot and did not say anything better than something wrong. In any case, the '62 team will change from the '62 patch to the '63 after completing it and work with the detail work on the building structures. This will probably be necessary since at the moment still HardCode parts in the core program are missing (dynamics / time influence). It does not have to be so hot that the patch will appear the same after completion, a time window is planned. The variable "soon" has now got a value> 8 months. That 63 will not be complete, because not all features are inserted. It may be multi-features, I mean in example not the complete kit set, or contaminated zones, or various new diseases, all vehicles. So can sound worse than it is.
