I sometimes wonder what the players (some pewpew-rowdys) because of a survival (apokalyspe) expect. The world of Chernarus is at the moment anything but an apocalypse ... it is more an apple and weapon parade with some infected AI. (OP feel please not addressed your question was in order). I experience on the Rain Exp. Server at the moment really something feeling of effort to keep the character life ... with intent in part without rainproof clothes ... only because of the Challange

Hmm. Interesting. I had exactly that yesterday, but I did not think about it since the first time it happened with me. I show my experience. After about 60 minutes. Playtime short desynchs (reciving ... in inventory). Then a short time later ~ 1-2min. "No connection to server blabla seconds" thr same textwindow after kick. I wait 10 seconds an reconnect and incoming at the same point before kick. After few minutes playtime (all work fine, no laag, no desynch) i become a new Kick... and the message "you kicking by BattleEye". Ö_Ö <--- my face to saw the message. No bad thinking, wait short time and reconnect to the same Server....never problems... i play sure 1-2 houres without one little desnych or laag. I thought my two teens have sent again with youtube the Internet line to hell ground.... but it was not so because they looked TV.... -
It often happens when you go to the 3pp view (I almost always only 1pp synonymous to 3pp). I had seen dias today the first time, after a few 3pp as i have a Lada parked. (Gods forgive me the 3pp drive ^^).

The double handslot option. It would be enough if you have an (arbitrary) light source in the left hand automatically. And now has the possibility to use all "a hand item" in the right hand. I expressly speak of this because of the experience of the new night. Clearly there is the headlight, but the use alone with this makes the real night (without gamma) very limited. Furthermore, the Char should hold a light source so in the hand that he does not blind himself. In 3pp not well possible, but in 1pp no problem a torch or chemlight so that it does not seem directly into the eyes seems (keep higher (active with space), or laterally deeper (inactive attitude)). The Devs changed the spawnpoints for a reason. Even if you can not see the meaning behind it, there is one. Even if it is not yet visible, in the future we will all see the reason ... or better said .. experience or even die. I can already hear the whine about infected that will kill you with a hit .... not everywhere and not all, but certain in some places. Just as there are loot zones, there must be infected with zone level .... from weak to nightmare. I'm not a black painter, I love drama.

Great SR .. (* shake hands animation here *) The Player Controller Basics picture is very interesting. But it shows "only" the 'input' / 'output' branches (and the most interesting is the "etc", secrets are the ^^.). After some time of observing and studying, I was exposed to the extent of this controller before the eyes. What is missing is the dependency / belonging within this "overview". Good that you have not drawn, because I show you my picture which stands before my eyes .... With the "logic connections" { ..I'm sure that here a few new bugs must arise.. if not ...hmmm... i can help ;-) }

I agree with all the details on here in Tread. Only what I would like to say: the kind of shoes and the texture of the ground on which you should run ... should have an influence. (Which is now only in connection with Stamina, not talking about noise and wear.

On the left side you see the room was lighted by one Torc. The light of torc spread "real light" into this room. The render take "real light" to render in normaly coloring. (Same at the Sunlight). On the right side you can see the dark room (no real light). The render-engine render all this areas with darkness, only in a 8bit color depht. (Same colors from a .gif picture --> 256 various colors [16bit colordepht have over 64000 colors...and 24 more then 16 kk colors) with hight gamma now you have more brightness, the brightness alone make not better the small colors in the night... you can better hide in dark zones... if the render make not many differents by the colors. Edit: if you play with 50% gamma then are the right side of screenshot black...only little litte details...the light from the room make very strange to see different "black shapes" on the right side. (The screenshot are edited with paint.net only with "auto brightness option ---> simultane max Gamma, because F12 dont work). (Sry its not easy to write this mechanics... german is my first language)

It is not in the sense of the map of Chernarus the spawn points to distribute the whole map. The map already has "zones" and I am firmly convinced that these "zones" in the future are not only different from the loot. The requirements and the challenges will increase with the "Zones". Therefore, this makes no sense to spread spawnpoints. // it would be senseless to get a spawn point in Lopatino if you can not survive it. Only my opinion..or hope to this are the way of the game.

Oh people. Please keep your feet still a little. The renderer on DX11 has still a lot of potential upward, since the introduction numerous improvements have been made. The same also applies to the Ambientsound ... it is only at the beginning and also here is still much before us. What is still the case today, can be changed tomorrow. There are simply very many things that depend on the "player controller".

Everytime the same Server ? Or you login on different servers ? 1) (If you logout, your Character are for ~ 30 sec. visible and aktiv on the server... in this time its possible from a Kill be a Player) 2) its possible if you have aggro from wolves or infected while logout, them can kill you on the Logout phase. ( closed doors no help for AI glitch )

and this New Render on night. Night (ambient light) are only Rendering on 8 bit, if you use a lightsource then are the lighted area on full colordepth. Screenshot (edited) with max. Gamma. Edit: I am happy for this change. I really tried to survive with 50% Gamma in Krasnostav. It was as dark as a bear's ass (3/4 fullmoon !!). Infected were almost not visible and I had to locate them with the noise. With a torch it was very pleasant, just making a torch no harm, a real challenge. Infected were also with max. Gamma is very bad to see, depending on the clothing and background they become almost invisible. The farther away they are, the more they become the environment. Oh what I would have given everything for a headlight .... all my 2 cans of food. The direction is right, even if there will be many "critics", the challenge slowly takes shape. Edit2: Yesterday I made a new observation. Moonlight directly acts like daylight. That means in the night the environment is illuminated by moonlight ---> full color rendering. This means when you move in the shadow of the moon, you are almost no longer visible on a long distance and with clothing the colors !! The surrounding area. (Observations with infected) Find the right way on the darkness.

if you will Play public then make this on "Veteran Servers" Server hopping ? Yes Kick by Admin ? No Random shutdown/resets ? No All empty on Milbases ? No (no transver from Loot to hoarded Servers) And at Moment because see above, more lowpop.

DayZ generally has far too few con sequences of your action. The world in DayZ is not an apocalypse. This is what makes everything possible, without the need to worry about other players. A stranger player is better when he is death, since everyone can do it all by himself with some tactics. Only when the world in Chernarus is hostile to you, only then will you be glad to meet another player just to have a chance to achieve something. It sounds like hardcore, but that's what it takes Tisy to reach. DayZ has to go as far as you need to think, whether you should take the SVD before you, or if you leave it, for fear to become a potential goal, just because you have an SVD. It needs sensitivity to decide what is good for you, or what harms you. The decisions of your action, with the consequences are simply missing at the moment. I once said: The way you go, decides how long you live / survive.

What I miss at ambientsound are insects. I was on Sunday in the sun on my comfortable chair ... and enjoyed the peace that was none. The weather was nice. Grilling chirped as if it were a match. The birds in the forest (100m) gave concerts. Sometimes there was a loud bird on the roof of the house, it was like an alarm. And it had insects. Flies, bees all circled around my head, I thought I was a flower. I miss insects. Especially with dead bodys it would only be so hum of flies. And birds that sing not only, but often they can be heard fluttering after singing. Or what is missing is the rustling of small animals in the forest, I often hear them, but never see them. ... on Sunday, I really enjoyed the peace, that was none.

Ambient sound and footsteps are up in 0.62 one thing which is only bad to solve. I am convinced that with 0.63 "different" footsteps will give. The terrain and choice of shoes will have an influence on this. A sneaker on the street will be quieter than walking shoes, as an example.
