    put some water on the fire. as I understand it says @soulfirez the modding should not be disclosed until the engine parts are ready and complete. Because the danger that you do something with modding, that with the next patch does not work anymore or has errors is great. And it would be a pity about the time and work of the modders. I am not a modder, but I can understand it after reading with hope the development of "Mod 2017 / Bamburgh" for Arma3 .... this mod died in A3 updates ...

    if its possible, please save the Applecalypse now.... let on this Server the Appletrees R.I.P EDIT: to late Worldmap_reset ... but we had a lot of fun to drive along the coast after completing work with the sedan and admire the disaster.

    After more than 1oOoh ... there are still things to discover, or you can come up with special ideas .... such as the apple-glitch itself to solve ^^ (2h for the plantation in Nadezhino) no game has ever given me such a thing.

    I also do not know how and if the devs have something in planning to make the night more attractive. In my opinion, the day and the night should bring advantages & disadvantages. And this should not be (even at night, if they can not solve it) synonymous with high-gamma work around. Your example with the temperature, you will freeze very fast without torch, or you really need very warm equipment, which brings you to the BBQ in the sun over day. But despite all this, other important benefits should come in the night like: Very strong aggressive infects in military facilities are sluggish and less clairvoyant or no possibility of hordes, while during the day you have almost no chance to leave a Milbase alive (alone). Or hunting for wildlife can be easier at night / day, depending on the species and nature. Or even an influence on the loot system ... Items that are only found by day or night, this is indeed a very artificial idea, the CLE is also an artificial idea. Creating a balanced balance of day / night is certainly a technical challenge and will not just make friends with it.

    The size of the map is actually irrelevant. The crucial question is: how is a map created. when is the size of the work surface defined? I suspect at the beginning. (I do not know, but it would be logical). So I will have massive problems if I want to implement the idea shortly before completion, expand everything to implement a "realistic border". What I mean is: clearly it is possible .... but who would be pleased to read that the beta is delayed by 6-8 months ... because of work on the map edge ....

    The map is not just land and objects. The CLE was inserted into this structure and I think it sticks on the map like a puzzle (the AI needs surely also data). If it was just about the visual presentation it would certainly be easier. But there are so many things in it that would make a change to the marathon.... we should accept that Chernarus is part of a mainland .... an island would be easier to understand ... but it is not an island. (And no one would ever have been able to travel many miles to find the black box where we go in when "you are dead" appears. ^^

    if the devs insert the weapon as a player geometry .... then there will be some red heads ... because running around in the houses like a rabbit will feel like an elephant in the glasshouse ... you'll get a pistol in your hand so you do not have to get caught like a fly in the spider web.

    Maybe the end of rent-time ? Dayz servers are not a gift...no pay, no server, and you are the last surviver from this server. Community-side server are never garanted. (Public/Private). Only the offizials Servers theres hosted by BI.

    it seems to me like I've read this before ... \ (^^) / joke aside. In general, the idea of a walking direction of the infected sounds good. However, the "infected" would have to be everywhere, and not, as now, only in "civilizations". The demarcation to the Debugzone would therefore make sense with wolves or bears. However, exactly these "border AI" would have to be very dangerous, otherwise they would only be exploited again ... "hey, I know where we find wolf meat". This AI has to tear off your ass and that hard. (Rejected are some buildings near the border, like the sawmill northwest of Stary Yar). That's why I like the idea of @chambersenatorbersenator with the on / off_damage_trigger version a bit better / easier / and death-sure and no_exploitable.

    What is the difference between a trigger and a dynamic event?

    On experimental you see your position. X0;Y0 are on the west/sud corner. The map datazone are defined to ~15300m.. all on outside this range are Debugzone... its not possible to make a aktion from serverside... i think its not possible to activate a deadzone... its debugzone... and or "Neverland". And moving the grid is not possible, which means the only possibility is that this spawn / edge zone must still be on the current map. But that would make sense, the border would have to be provided with a wall that has holes where all the spawns come from ... and the wall would have to contaminate everything with a sick guy that nobody survived ("Brain Flu" ^^.) This raises the question: do we want something like that?
  20. A status report reported that the new network between client and server was created in such a way that the server checks certain "options" for actions. This should stop things like speedhacks, and duping. (I trust the private hives with WL in case of doubt).

    The apple tree is the trigger. You are the thing that triggers the trigger. The dynamic will decide if the tree was pregnant or not ... if so, you will find an apple, if not then look for another tree ... that had previously visited bees. Happy dynamic-trigger-bee. (ö_ö)}}}}>

    I can remember Patch 0.54, your sneakers were from Kamishovo "pristine" to NWAF "damaged" .... shoes were important, it was a part of your inventory. (Military boots were the best, even in the forest they were very resistant). It should not be extreme, it should only show that there are differences, even sneakers have their strengths and advantages .... they are quiet and soft ....

    it was still Sunday recently. A day off for many of us, including RaptorM60, and yet he took the time to answer. That is not self-evident, many of us are free from business in their spare time. At this point great respect to "RaptorM60"! Now something else: it was once said by the team: "we want you to perceive your surroundings".     This. You walk/sprint: shoes increased damage with time/distance. You move if you crouching: shoes/pants increased damage. You crawl/move in lay positons: shoes/pants/jacket increased damage. And this influences with the different floortypes. Roads/stones high influence to clothes, grass less or minimum influences.

    agree with the idea. she should be very active in the dark, especially when running / jogging and not using light. (gamma will not protect you) Be carefull in the dark or use light....safety first ^^.
