    makes DayZ for the PC ... and then it adapts to the console. Not the other way around .... because modding does not come from the console.

    After leave the Beta-options... you need wait to reupdate the 0.62 version. Steam lined up the Download ... but it can during some time. (0.62 and 0.63 have changed Maps..thats the reason for big downloads)

    I really hope that the Devs rethink. No inaccuracy would make any weapon the same, so not only the character of a weapon is lost, but also its value. I believe the goal of DayZ Vanilla will be that certain weapons will be very hard to find, but to justify their value, differences and characteristics are needed. DayZ is not supposed to be a Quake Live with various optical railguns. If it is for performance reasons, then rank other things back in their temporal priority, because it does not matter if my character is in 1sec. Thirsty or in 10sec.

    No, at the moment this is really new the new animation system coupled to the playercontroller is new. There are many things missing compared to 0.62. The stress test version is a raw build of the new engine. The focus is clearly on server load and network. Only the experimental version, and since certainly not the first version at the start, will contain the things you are waiting for.

    I do not know if it's planned. As far as clothing is concerned, in addition to weight, it could also have a value that positively or negatively affects your stamina. (Mountain boots are less good for running than sports shoes, on the road, in forest or rocky terrain it's the other way round.) A jogging dress should have a positive influence on the stamina, but the weather resistance is low. The question arises whether the Stamina bar has static +/- values in consumption / recovery or whether this decrease / increase occurs dynamically, depending on the type of shoes / clothing.

    Its possible to craft rags from T-shirts and oder Clothes. (Not sure if its work in 0.63... but this are under massive construction) Panchos ? We have the Raincoats.

    so far I could stay away from the infection of 0.63 .... but it's hard. As far as the stamina reports are concerned, it is certainly a bit too strict. But: it is better to get a new feature with heavy impact, to later correct it into better and more realistic areas, than to make it harder later. The 2nd: accessing the inventory is only possible if there is a reason in the network / server priority, as the changes in the character inventory are made without changing your location information. Of course it is annoying, but the server will run more stable because it has to control your character data (positions datas and inventory datas are 2 separated things).

    Try to delete all files in C:\......\Dayz\ After start, all files will generated new.
  14. Man will build when given the possibilities. It does not matter if it makes sense or not .... it's too deep in the genes of the gamer. Games build on it. who gathers will protect it, an eternal law.

    You're absolutly right. But it is certainly not wrong to bring the base of the now "Final Engine" on a stable basis. I can only imagine that the implementation of the missing "features" for the Exp-Beta release will only benefit us, as well as the devs, if the Core-Engine has a stable run.

    @exacomvm that's right .... it's called persistence, the CLE does start at same point, where it stopped before restarting (continuous process). There are good reasons why this is so. The idea with Loot only after Restart ... that we had before the New CLE .... for admins a blessing, for full servers a hell who logged in too late.

    Oh yes, I know that too ... when Sqeez was still young and small .... every cave or tube had to be explored. I still have a scar on my hand from a torch of wood grass and tree resin .... the burning resin dripped on my hand .... but it was the only light we had in the cave ... a painful one Trip was that time.

    The idea of hiding in a world where people walk around with only the goal to crush you ... makes sense to have places that are "underground". But such immense tunnel systems do not fit Chernarus. Much more appropriate would be to add some "underground structures" (bunkers, laboratories) / caves (in rock areas). The opening of the mines in Solnichy and Kamensk should also be included. //These underground structures were indeed removed for the sake of bugs / glitches ... who knows if with the new player controller a 2nd Chance results .... keep your fingers crossed.//
  20. I suspect that with the basbuilding and embarrassing structures the spawning rate of the tents will be very small. These mega bases that we know now will not be possible in shape anymore. I think in 1.0 2 or 3 military tents to find something will be very big surprise .... because why else you should be able to build small simple tents themselves. And the bigger a base, the more sense there will be to crack it ... small ones may not be worth the massive effort. Fact will be: People will have work and are looking for more than just weapons and ammunition for PvP .... you may be robbed ... just because you have nails and tools. But we'll see ... if it's there.

    I think you do switch on Beta/Exp. on Steam...it will work, if the files are ready to Download. (The "normal 0.62 exp are the same version as stable, so you don't switch on Beta/exp. for play the "normal 0.62 exp.) The devs will sure announce the "ready to go".... i hope we are very close...

    I agree with you. I often miss the beautiful free weather on the coast ... especially when the days are completely cloudless. In the interior of the map, there is the dense fog in the rain or after the rain ... it is really very authentic. The coast looks as it is now very desolate and over the entire time of day.

    Bigest Problem are the Map... on Namalsk works fine... but on Chernarus its realy not so easy (climatic influences, the bananas rotten to fast, now the devs search ways to self-cooled holsters).

    From learning what others say, you learn to lie. it's just a proverb, but what you do not know or know with certainty should stay in the "silence". We will see the child until it is born, then we will know and see it. Because even if we are the fathers of this child ... we only needed one click, the mother has a lot harder and longer.
