Ok to all you "Nay Sayers" players, please feel free to explain why you dislike the post. Elaborate a little on your disapproval so we can get a better understanding of the community's state of mind. This is ALPHA for a reason, were all here to test and try and make the game better. Now my opinion: A few things I think need to be removed from the "patch," and why! * [NEW] Cooked meat refils 400 blood only instead of 800. Canned food refils 100 blood isntead of 200. (REDACTED) The current healing from food system is fine, it enables players to be able to play alone if they don't have friends who play the game. * [FIXED] Zombies no longer have super human speed (REDACTED) Keep this, the Zombies need to be able to run faster or the players will just be able to avoid them all together, therefore making Zombies a laughable joke. * [NEW] Soda cans spawn chance decreased. (REDACTED) Keep soda cans the way they are, They aren't harming the system as of currently the way food is. Food is too easy to find as is, and unless you can milk cows now I think the drinks are plenty rare enough. * [NEW] Animals spawn chance decreased. (REDACTED) Keep the animals spawn chance the way it is, it allows players to be able to avoid towns for food for a while which is ok. Players need a second food source that is easy enough to get your hands on without having to worry about starving to death every five minutes. Now my opinion on the rest: Military weapons are a joke, I cant walk around without kicking over a rock and finding a M16. There is no rarity for any of those items, they need to be harder to find because every guy and his brother having an M4, an AK, and an m107, is the reason this game is easily turning into nothing but deathmatching. Death is supposed to have a consequence, if someone knows what the punishment is for death is currently please fill me in. With the way guns are currently spawning (military grade weaponry that is) getting shot for what ever reason isn't punishable, you just go get your guns back in 20 minutes. The new blood system would bring unity to people, you would have a reason to be friendly because you would need players of your own blood type. This would add a reason to not shoot everyone on sight because you could possibly need them in five minutes. I WILL BE EDITING THIS AS I GO!

M249 saw; tons of bullets in a clip, accurate as hell, and destroys players without prejudice :) BTW im sad to see so many Enfield and AK-74 picks... they got nerfed fellas... they're kinda poop now :|

What happened? no matter what I do I cant get rid of them, and they seriously just caused me to die to some random non sense so can we please explain what has changed since the last patch so I can fix this?

Well I tried fora long time to be friendly until Ii got pissed on too many times. It became easier to shoot on site and rob others, but I don't feel as good about it. My friend on TS said to me when I said I was going to wing this poor guy, he goes "Ehh... I dont know... Ok." after I saved him from his zombies I then realized and said back, "If I had legged him it would have been funny as hell for about 5 minutes." This is true, I would have laughed my ass off for about 5-10 minutes then forgotten about it. Now I kinda feel good that I might have saved someone from a death by Zeds and I might even have made then trust people a little easier.

Dont don't hate, I could have shot this poor fellow. Then I could go shoot many more poor fellows, but I stopped shooting poor fellows, and only those with guns that are a direct threat to me. SO I think I'm becoming more of a survivor now than a bandit.BTW!!! I have never once sniped a starter city and killed unarmed people. The only time I kill people who are defenseless is when they are going to a place that has a gun, and that's because when people have guns they think they're untouchable and shit.

So me and my Wookie(ghillie suit) friend were coming from Elektro where we just had to put down a few unruly types with an AKM and a M14-AIM, I have to say it was risky business but it had to be done. When about 1/2 way to Cap Golovo we bump into some survivor running down the shore from some Zeds, I have to admit I was pretty close to just legging him and watching the Zeds have their fun. Instead cooler heads prevailed and I shouted to him over the mic "You running down the tracks come here, i'll shoot the Zeds." He kept running so I said again "Come here, I don't want to accidentally hit you!" I understand the poor fellows distrust with the current DayZ community, so I figured I had to prove it to him. I take the shots with my 1911 and kill the first Zed, and then the second. I figured I'm normally a bandit and all but sometimes it's ok to do the right thing to help out a fellow human. To you sir, I hope you remember my kindness and pass it along to others! See guys its not always like you have to shoot everyone, he had nothing to lose if he wanted to stalk us and kill us.

MAYBE they just so happen to have been/are in the army in real life, so it's either a habit OR they happen to talk to each other that way because it is a way they all understand? Either way, fail troll good sir... fail troll indeed :)

You explained that poorly. Say they want the money now, so they sell anyone who wants to buy the game right now for $xx.xx You now own this game, and wont have to pay anything else for it. a week down the road they polish it more so it goes up in price to $xx.xx NOW anyone else who DOES NOT own the game has to pay this price. and so on and so forth until release. edit: upon release you still DO NOT need to pay anymore money.

He is talking about buying DayZ "STANDALONE" BUT, if DayZ "STANDALONE" is released on the arma 2 engine he wants to know if DayZ "STANDALONE" purchasers will be upgraded to arma 3 engine at some point. so no, he isn't talking about buying a mod, he's talking about buying DayZ "STANDALONE" edit: I think I should have cleared this miss communication up a bit, if not please let me know, I can be more thorough :)
