I don't understand why can't there be various variants of the PSO zeroed for specific calibers. It's not like in real life you would only find what you need right of the bat.

So there isn't any reliable place to find them in? I've been checking both UAZ wrecks and police car wrecks but all I found were ammo and SKS'. -
I have 1xplate carrier with pouches [P] 1xgreen ballistic helmet [P] 1xSKS [P] 1xPU scope [W] 1xSKS stripper clip [P] 1xPSO-1 [W] 2xAKM mag [P] 1xMP5K [P] 1xMP5K compensator [D] 1xMP5K rail [D] 3xMP5K 30 rnd mag [P] 1xMagnum [P] assortment of various other shit like M65 jackets, sewing kits, protector cases and such I want 1xAK74 1xsuppressor for it [P]

Do these servers actually restart? Because I've been testing persistence yesterday and it seems like one of the fragnets I used seemed to have it working properly but I'm unsure if they restart. Can anyone confirm?

And I for that matter can't find any AK74s only ammo for it. So far I've found 2 AKMs and 4 PSOs though but no ammo for the AKMs.

Perfect contribution. Without people like you this forum would have perished. Retards aside so far it looks as if private hive servers worked better as far as tents go, I'm still trying to find a public hive server that has actually working persistence though. Supposedly there are some that actually work.

Could be that private servers don't fuck up that badly but can't know for sure. Still I'm still looking for a public server to store my stuff on. Not helping.

Eugen said it's supposedly only some servers that wipe tents after restarts but I've yet to find one. If someone has an IP of such a server I would gladly try it out. Otherwise I call bullshit on what Eugen said.

To be fair there is zero point to play this patch if persistence is fucked as it is. It would've been fine with it but I'm sick and tired of lugging all my shit around with me and supposedly this patch was supposed to remedy that. -

There's no reason there shouldn't be either NATO or Warsaw Pact weapons available be it it older or newer variants. Same as there should also be leftover WWII equipment like uniforms, helmets and weapons obviously because realism has no say here. -

In fact the AK74 in DayZ has the side rail modelled so it's just plain dumb it can't take the PSO. Hell, it should be able to use all of the M4 optics because it can have a RIS mounted on the side rail. -

Because in the mod they were a really good alternative to military bases and campsites. They supposedly spawn stuff but I haven't seen them do so since the beginning of alpher.
