weird thing is that I've been running around completely overheated for hours and nothing happened. The heat indicator went from orange to red to totally mental and I am still alive and running about. I think there must be something wrong with the temperature thingy or the devs reduced the value of the multiplier (or whatever it is) that would normally cause a heart attack within minutes once the indicator shows dark red.

Uhm, you sure you can't ctrl + alt + del to get into windows and then tab back into the game? I get the black screen aswell and even though alt + tab doesn't work I still can use ctrl + alt + del to get back into the start screen.

hmmmmmmmmm... As much as I would love to confirm this but I had lots of problems with desync since 0.60 hit the fan. Mostly Zombies punching thin air where I was standing 5 seconds before and still breaking my limps. Also I've managed to stalk a group of players and I could hardly keep track of them because the desync made it look like they were sliding and teleporting all over the place. On another note, does anybody experience flickering shadows (like in the builts before), or can still see those grey graphic bugs at those chain-link fences (like when the fence is not see-through at a certain distance)??? Also for me light/shadows in buildings seems to be bugged still. Not sure if it has to do with my ingame setting or my NVIDIA Experience setup.

"...I give up..." ??? You are definitely no DayZ material. Alpha experimental seperates the boys from the man for sure :p You have to look at it as if it were a crucial part of the game (which in fact it is) :D (did I hear someone mention 30 additional servers?)

yea, not sure what all the people are doing wrong. I literally never have to try more than 5 minutes to get on a server. And I only play 1st person, so I have even less servers to choose from. weird

personally I really like the fact that you can still hear other players talking after you are dead. For me this is a unique and quiet crucial part of the game play. This is the only game I know of that messes with your emotions like anger, paranoia, fear, feeling superior, in such a realistic way that I once actually smashed my keyboard so hard that it broke. [0.60] are better FPS a result of 200% render resolution?

I am asking because I've managed to change the render resolution to 100% and the overall framerate is now as bad as in 0.59 I am not quite sure how to take this -
guys, on experimental the magnum can be single chambered by pressing R and the frikking drum is actual rotating. Now the question is, can we put a single bullet inside and have the drum rotate to a random chamber by pressing R? Can't test it myself cause of crappy internet :/ omgomgomg

you have to press R after every shot. same goes for all bolt/semi action guns.

whatever you guys do make sure to post mucho images and vids. I wont be able to play a lot for the next weeks :( Also it will be impossible to get a server slot for sure. spread the glory

Maybe they've reduced the overall max view distance compared to 0.59. Why should anything behind the fog render?

It performs because view distance is set to verly low by the looks of it.
