  1. Good topic. Puts these projects into right perspective. I bet they all ate lots of "kampaviineri" (pic below) and many cups of bad coffee.

    Status Report - 10 October 2017

0.63_BETA going to Experimental is going to blow the Internet. Status report that gives hope and makes the waiting game even longer, if that's possible. Starting to feel same kind of excitement that was on when waiting standalone to hit steam store. Don't really have any other game at the moment, that i want to play daily. Started to play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided second time from the start to fill my gaming needs. Great game and set in Prague ;) But i would prefer waiting in the dayz server lobby to get into 0.63 experimental server anytime.

    Status Report - 26 September 2017

Unless the eyezoom is not a game breaking bug, why remove it? It's a BIS trademark as someone said. Same as Freelook. Both very handy when playing first person. But if removing zoom is the only way to get rid of that anoying texture flickering when zooming in and out. Then i kinda understand why it needs to go. I could live with that. But damn it would feel weird not having it in Dayz. As for 0.63. going experimental... wait is starting to feel too loooooooong.

    GamesCom Pics/Vids

Hope Hicks will be back in business at some point. I think he and his passion for the project was one of the main reasons why players kept believing Dayz after Rocket left. But can't blame the guy for needing some personal time, if that's the case. Who wouldn't. So many years gone and still more to come before the game is playable for the larger public. And constat bashing and pressure in social media sure is grazy in this modern world. Anyway i think it's normal that people are worried when Creative Director of the Dayz-project isn't around when it's going BETA.

    Status Report and Walkie Talkies

Yes Radios! - Good compromise between global/side -channel and no global VOIP/chat at all. - Bring back the meaningles chatter
  9. Bring back the map, chat's, kill messages and player list. Boats, bicycles and bigger servers would help too.

You Have got to be kidding me!

I was first posting this to exp.branch topic. But i think this might be better place. If there is such a place for negative feedback in this forum. "fix for double turbo" ...jeesus. Why fix things like that. When you can't even drive the car at 60/60 server. It's a diashow, lagfest and then you are suddenly flying and spinning through the air or sinking in to the ground with your vehicle. Sure it's nice to cruise around empty experimental server. But it's totally different story on a full server. Over 3 years and the dayz gaming experience has gone through some nice visual improvments, but the overall gaming mechanics still feels like someting from the last century. With almost 700 hours of dayz from the day it got released i've sure had enough "game" for my money and i thank developers for that, but it is starting to get harder and harder to believe that there will be a day when you are not an alphatester. Things could be worse. I could be one of those people who are spending hundreds of dollars for StarCitizen. :)
