Can we get a ".61 stable" thread started over on stable branch discussion?

I got the option to do this..There were two options when you scroll on the fireplace. "place fireplace" and "place fireplace on ground" you need to choose "place fireplace"

I think it's a step in the right direction, but I think diseases need to be easier to catch. Especially cholera. I think the body temperature setup right now with rain making you hypothermic quickly is good. I think it will be much more difficult once stamina is implemented. Don't forget that bears will be in eventually too, so that's another predator we will have to worry about. I hope they do the damage points on bears right; in that they should be very difficult to kill unless you're using a high power rifle like a blaze, winchester, svd, or mosin.

Basically I think it'd be cool if while youre cooking a steak on a stick over a fire, if you could get another action prompt to jam it into the ground and let it cook unattended. Maybe even allow multiple sticks around the fire. To balance this, maybe allow it to burn easier or cook slower since you won't be there to rotate it and cook it evenly.

Excited to be able to interact with people again. I think this is a large part of why .61 exp has been more KOS-like; because it's too painful to try to interact. (I'm sure it won't be perfect this build, but nice to see some progress on it)

Maybe some of the servers have different loot spawn percentages than others? Just a thought.

is this a thing? Chance of spawning in fully geared?

To be fair, I rarely voip right now bc it's so damn loud. I've come across a lot of friendlies but I usually leave after giving them some apples bc my ears just can't take it.

I didn't have to restart the game, I just logged out and back in and it "catches up" but seems to freeze again after that. Maybe I will try restarting if this happens again. Won't do the apple tree glitch anymore either. Also worth noting this was in the 32-bit client.

Whoops, that's embarrassing. I just discovered this bug. Good to know it's just due to that thanks. Although, it's worth noting that my buddy DID NOT do this glitch, and had a hard time getting hydrated and healing after drinking a lot from the well. Does spamming the well do this now as well?

Has anyone been experiencing very delayed status indicators? I ate 20 apples with nothing. I logged out and back in and then within 15 seconds went from dark red stuffed to bright red stuffed, then a minute later I threw up, with a "sick" indicator. Then it seems like I just stayed at the same water and energy levels the rest of the time, over the course of an hour.

I don't typically go out looking to get into a firefight, so once I'm super geared, I find a tent, then start looking for an ideal location for a camp. Then I pretty much dump everything on my player into the tent except maybe some food and a pistol, then head out like a fresh spawn to get geared again. To me, the quest to find the gear is the most fun, and all of the interactions along the way. When I'm super geared I just think now wat do. Either pvp or wander around mindlessly.

Except at the Tisy base. Just as hostile as other military bases. But you should def spend some time in the north. If you want to do the hermit/survivor playstyle. the north is the place to be. I'd say go even further north and find some pond on izurvive and setup camp there. May still want to hide tent as there are wanderers that may find it. Also check out sinistock (northwest part of map), it's a pretty cool village with a pond and house at the dead end road.

Just wondering if anyone knows of an app that allows viewing,commenting, posting to this forum? I can use the browser on my phone but it's not ideal. Thanks

Maybe one shot if they don't have armor. I've shot a guy at NWAF with the winchester and he kept running around like it ain't no thang, except he was bleeding.

Side note: how are these for sniper rifles? Are the ballistics the same as an sks? (how flat does it shoot, stopping power)
