Hey Baty. I know you said that nothing had happened to tents, but I think it is safe to say that DayZ US Southcentral 0-6 (Experimental/Unstable) has far fewer tents spawning in as far as we can tell. All the places I would normally find lots of tents aren't spawning in as many. If the spawn points of tents has opened up that is fine by me. If not there is a problem. Haven't gone onto another server to find out as yet to see if tents are ok their. Looking forward to your answer.

Hey Baroness you forgot to tell every one that it was all the arrows in the bus that where sticking it in place lol. With there combined strength they can hold a bus in place even when hit by a v3s. There where at least 3 sharp sticks/arrows in total that I could see within and out side the bus. But it was fun trying to move it. By the way congrats to the 2 players that played cat and mouse with us up at Tisy. It was good to see you were patient and not gun and run. Would be good to meet up and may be have a chat instead.

Its a shame we have some opposition on the server at the moment as they could be helping us, but it does make it interesting (big smiley face). As for the tents it looks like they don't want are big camps any more (Sad Face). Did are usual run today and only got 1 tent for the effort. I did find one in one of the new small road blocks. Well I'm sure what we do have will be wiped soon any way. Roll on are next camp, may it be bigger and better than this one :-).

Well found out that if you shoot an arrow into a zed trapped in a V3S cargo the arrow stays in place causing an obstruction to your V3S on return. I thought it was the zeds trapped in the VS at the time to see it in mid air and stopping me from going forward lol. I do hope us southwest central 02 comes back. Missing everyone that was playing on that server :-(

Emu, IMT and thur. Have I joined a feud? Looks like I might have to watch my back lol. I'm not that much of a PVP person, but I will fight back when shot at or attacked. PS thur do you think it might have been Dicklepick that took us out when we were mil tent hunting at kamensk mil camp?

Ha thur. No wonder Girth got that lada up that ramp so easy. He was using the hover version of it lol. Did you have yo give the busses a bit of a run up to get them over the lip? And what is are next challenge :-)?

I'm rely starting to hat the zeds. I don't fear them like the wolves, but I real don't like the AI and the Item damage they do. Today in 2 fights which were back to back I have 2 items ruined. First Fight, worn Gorka jacket goes to ruined with 1 zed in 2 hits (what the fuck). Next fight 3 zeds 1 worn to ruined assault vest (more realistic, but frustrating after the last encounter). Plus I have been attacked by zeds that can't see me as they have come from out of no were straight through an object obscuring them in front of me. We have had zeds like this before and it didn't work so why are they repeating the same mistake? Most of the community didn't like them then so what has changed? I do want zeds to be a threat like the wolves, but not like this. And yes they should damage the items you are wearing/carrying, but not this quickly and this often. It should be a rare event that they 1/2 hit ruin an item. At the moment I feel I might as well run around naked with just a back pack for what worth clothing is at the moment.

Yep Emuthreat I whole heartedly agree with you in this thread. I certainly don't like the proposal of the devs at the moment. I don't rely mind skills in the game, but they should be hidden. Its by your actions that you know how good at it you are not some skill bar that you can see. And yes over time and the internet will tell you what you can do how long it will take you to get good at it, but you have to spend time doing it. What I would like to see is that if you don't use that skill for some time it starts to degrade as it would in real life. You have to keep the practice up to maintain that skill. It never drops to the starting point as you have already been good at it, eg you start at 1 point in that skill reach 30 points you don't use that skill say for 15 days it goes down to 10 and stays there until you use that skill again. And if people want to grind that's up to them, but in the grand scheme of things it only helps them at that moment in time not for the rest of the game. If you constantly do the same thing because that's what you wan't to do eg farm then you are good at it. I don't like this see saw skills thing.

Yep not liking the way zeds damage your kit so quickly. Surely the zeds should be doing more damage to us and less on are items. Didn't the devs learn from the last time they did that? And I'm starting to hate the just about constant bleed damage you get after being hit by a zed. I would prefer less chance of bleed on a zed hit and substitute that with a higher bleed rate when the do damage that causes a bleed wound. I do hope they fix this quickly. I'm surprised they have brought it on to stable. I don't like having a whinge and I no the game is in development, but surely the zeds should have been tested out on exp first. Their current iteration has put a bit of a dampener on the game for me at the moment.

Well we go from one extreme to another with zeds. At the start of .61 they where easy now they are super zeds. They see through objects, hear a nat fart at 1000ft, run faster than Usain Bolt and hit like Mike Tyson. Ok a bit over exaggerated but you get the Idea. I shot one with the amphibia to get 3 more come in from some distance away. Before I could use the amphibia and it would not attract that sort of attention. Also you cant avoid them or run away from them now and they fuck your kit up quickly. Not quit sure what the devs were thinking with this zed update? They seam more suited for exp than stable as I'm sure it will take them some time to re balance them. I like the wolves more. They can really fuck you up or kill you if your caught out in the open, but I find you have a better chance with them and they are less frustrating. Oh well time to move on.

Ok its nice to see zed aggro range is bigger, down side which they should have thought of is their super speed they go at to get to you. If no one has noticed, but when they see you and you turn to run they catch up with you super quick then maintain a distance away from you as you run. Not sure why the devs did that? Also they have super vision as one saw me in an upstairs room of a house from 30 ft away. I know as a player I would have a hard time seeing another player at that sort of distance in a house. Zeds are going in the right direction, just need a bit of tweaking.

Had some fun today. One thing I don't get about the zeds. One can start chasing you from 30ft away. You high tail it yet he catches up with you then maintains a good distance from you until he looses interest. Surely if he caught up with you he could over take you lol. Would it not be better that he just cant catch up with you from the start. Plus I don't like their new punch sound. I feel like I'm getting shot by the Amphibia all the time. Got mauled by some wolves. I shot one with the RAK and it took 5 rounds before it went down. Tried axing them but for every 4 swings I got 1 hit in. So death took me. But having fun for the moment.

I like the Idea of prep before battle. Makes you think. Lets be honest ask any military person they have lots of magazines prepped before they go into any fight and they generally don't have that much loose ammunition around them if any. You run out of full mags you have run out of ammunition you borrow your mates (if your loading a mag in a fire fight you are out of action, bad planing and fire discipline). When ever I have been on ops I have never had loose ammo only full mags. Although I do agree about breaking the loading if you need it after you have run out for that last ditch effort how wouldn't in real life. -
Well I did some testing of my own this afternoon. I rely wanted a cherno or further west spawn but no luck there. It would seem that the devs want us around Berezino. Most of my spawns where in that sort of area. I did get a couple of Electro spawns, 2 Berezhki, One Svet and skalisty Isld, but mainly around Berezino. Zed agro is poor as I would have to run up and punch then to get them to chase me then kill me lol. They don't break agro for far to long now a days. If its raining when you spawn in forget it as you will die unless you find a coat quickly. That will induce server hopping methinks. The general loot seems to have reduced (I do think its current lvls would be good for final release/beta( Yes mil might be to much still at this moment in time)). And I would like to find more loot in flats, high rises, the old prison and general all the other locations that loot used to spawn into. I'm getting a bit board of searching the same old places for the same old items. Although I do see a start in loot not always spawning into their good old locations. I'm not sure if I will play .61 when it is released to stable if the loot stays at its current lvls. I'm a bit of a kleptomaniac in the game and I don't feel that I will get long enough on .61 to for-fill that need lol. Plus I want to drive around not run around every where to do my collecting. I feel that I have done enough running around in the game all ready lol. It has been fun testing .61 exp looking forward to .62

Ha just dragged 3 zeds into the ocean. They were quit happily running along the sea bed lol.

Ha was a laugh thur. After that re-spawned in electro. gathered up some zeds then went to the fire station with them. Climb up the ladder then jumped off to kill my self to find the zeds providing a nice cushion to land on lol. They then proceeded to punch me death.

Has the loot count dropped? I'm not finding as much nowadays. Some of it I don't mind like all the high end weapons and bits for them, But as a person that likes to make camps the lack of mil tents and barrels is a bit disconcerting for when it goes to stable. Also I haven't found that many vehicles bits either apart from wheels. This is just an observation not a criticism as it is exp and I'm not base build as there are wipes just about every week so no point in doing it. I like the new map though. Although I'm going to have to change my driving routs when vehicles do come back in as there are now mil camps in the way lol. Looking forward to .61 when it goes to stable.

Well I did not have a good start on SNG 1pp. Spawned in to find another survivor not far from me. I said I was friendly, but no reply from them. Started to head to kamy minding my own business just behind the other survivor. After a bit they turn round and have a pop at me, I then run off. I then see them looting the lower tulga chairlift area which I leave them to it. I get to Kamy start a bit of looting to see the same guy arrive. he chases me part way into town then does his thing. After a small bit of looting in Kamy finding nothing of interest apart from a barrel I decide to bug out with the barrel (I like barrels especially green ones). On my way up through the woods to the left of pol station I see that guy again running to Elec. Didn't think he had seen me as I was behind him some distance, but he did. He then comes back and shoots me lol. I don't know why as I never attacked him and I had nothing of interest unless he likes barrels lol. By the way DCBasher look forward to pos meeting you on SNG at some point. I always start friendly unless shot at.

I need to get to grips with cooking. Made a fire placed my frying pan on the storage slots. All that happened was it got ruined. Still tried to cook my chicken breasts on the frying pan but they still remand uncooked after 5 mins. Decided to put them in the storage spaces and watched them get ruined to. And nice to see you back thurman

I like the zeds now. They are definitely more of a threat I find. It is a lot harder to lone wolf it now. Picked up a few guns and ammo on my spawn point so decided to see what would happen when you shoot zeds now. What I found was after checking how many zeds were around finding a safe position snipe one and see now many attack. I got the distinct feeling that zeds spawned in on the sound. I would take out more than I could see. Didn't mind this so much, but was disappointed to find zeds still wondering around 100 ft from where I had been doing the shooting. Did the same sort of thing in a small village that I had practically cleared only 3 zeds left as far as I could tell. Went into a house, shut the door then shot one of the last 3 zeds. 8 zeds later I'm safe to leave the house. I then find 3 zeds shuffleing around in the area I had just cleared minuets earlier. I hope they sort this as so far I don't feel like I'm clearing areas and making them safe for a time. It would be nice to see the zeds withing hearing range of the shot come to that location as well as the spawned in ones. That is if zeds are spawning in to gun fire. I have been in places were I have taken zeds out with a pistol/rifle and have not been inundated with zeds. This is just an observation interested to see if others feel the same.
