An ak-47? I spawned in only to find I had lost my SVD, I had all my other gear though, it was kinda odd.... Servers must like to eat gear..

It's rather OP and that is why it has become rarer than it first was... But yes, if I had no good gear I would definently use it, it's a beast

Hatchet = 4499 damage / M1911 = 889 Damage I would take the hatchet...

Yes, hacks do show on the map where vehicles and tents are, the hacker can also teleport to them... This is rather sad because as you said there is now no point in having a base....

Now, i just want to know because i found a suit, now i have also heard some horrid stories regarding the loss of gear and teleportations to the ocean, would anyone be able to confirm that there safe to where? In the patch notes it says "* [FIXED] Ghillie and skin removal on login ( https://dev-heaven.net/issues/36666 )" That doesn't show much of what i'm asking, so some help would be great. Cheers all! My clan owns a server (LU1), they have a ping limit of 250, sadly i have on of 350-450! (So i can't play with them because i am always being kicked) One of my mates mentioned the possibility of a "White list", does anyone know if you can do this on Arma 2 servers and if you can may you post how to do so as well?

It's not really that, it's the fact my clans server was being killed by laggy Russians with a ping of around 500! I play from Australia and i get around 350, the white list would allow me to play with my mates, not blocking out little kids.
