This was before they implemented more features, currently servers are struggling with the player slots it has now. I don't know how you cannot see this and still ask for 100 slot servers.At this juncture it's a silly want and it's definitely not a need. Not now at least.

Unfortunately all recording progs will drop your framerate to some degree. Some worse than others but you can get xecent performance messing with settings. Had decent fps with Bandicam. I was never happy with any of the recording progs really, so went with a Live Gamer Portable(external device). External recording devices or internal cards are always a better option.

How can you lose faith in something that really hasn't started yet? The time to lose faith is at full release and we still have the same issues. Somehow I don't see this happening though.

Until server performance is sorted, no we don't need more player slots. 30-40 players is definitely pushing it atm.

It's annoying for a player that some GSP's do not give Admins access to BEC for server restart messages. Mine does but in saying that, even though we have server messaging it does get thrown off when the server crashes. So server crashes are another annoyance to deal with. What the server reset time is also depends on the GSP, some you can set it, others you cannot. It would be nice if GSP's could give the same basic features across the board. Basic external RCon would be nice as well.

They should of left the ctd when leaving a server, I think this annoyed the hoppers most. ;)

Whether you want to believe it or not any items that give an advantage over another player is an advantage, hence pay 2 win. Because you have/had vested interest in BMRF doesn't make this advantage any less, it's just your justification to have an advantage over others. It's not the community that were talking about here, it's the actual people running the community and the absolute ridiculous attitude they had when the Standalone came to be, among other things. Or do you choose to look at them through rose coloured glasses?

My point is... Any exploit, be it small, easy or major is still an exploit. People who use "insert exploit here" try to justify it anyway they can. The "I do it because everyone else does it" takes the cake. The people who use this excuse are indeed part of the problem, especially when there are other options other than exploiting.

It's not really night using gamma now, is it? I highly doubt the number is that high it's just you trying to justify using the exploit. It's like saying, I'm gonna go glitch into the NWAF Jail because everyone else does it. Does everyone else do it, absolutely not it's a minority. It's ridiculous and you know it, but anything to justify the douchebag actions of yourself and others, yeah?

Then why do you bother playing at night? See this is what I don't get and it does not make sense at all to play at night when all you want is 24/7 Day. The "I use the gamma exploit because everyone else does" excuse is ridiculous at best. You do it because you do it and want the advantage over someone else. If you really wanted to you would either play 24/7 day or not use the gamma exploit at night.

Meh, their "pay 2 win" for donations style was always a turn off for me. As well as the whiny holier than thow attitude that went on when the Standalone first came out(because they couldn't get their way) also turned me off.

I very rarely get this but when I do Ctrl+Alt+Del, Task Manager, select DayZ and Switch To. Works every time.

All DayZ servers, regardless of GSP automatically restart every 4hrs. They can be set for less but can't be set for more.

No do not ignore everything that doesn't come with a name because if you have Admins that are actually posting pertinent messages over global, then you could actually miss something. Not every Admin is a troll.

I guess we just have to agree to disagree because I have a little more faith in people than most. As well as now that you can actually see, people have little point to use the gamma except to be a douchebag. For me, I hope by not using it as well as anyone I know(personally) who plays or is an Admin on my server is not using it then we lead by example. If I can somehow make a silent rule by setting this example then at least I know I'm doing the right thing. If supposedly almost everyone you know does it then they're part of the problem really. It's like saying I'm gonna go glitch into the jail at the NWAF because everyone does it but really, not everyone does it. It's a small minority that does. Or "If everyone jumps off a bridge..."

A lot of people have said that the reason they use the gamma/brightness thing is because they can't see, well now they can. Will some people still use it, fuck yeah they will but if we sit here and say that there are more exploiters out there than legit people I think that's just being paranoid. We certainly can't say it's fact. I'd like to think there are a lot more people out there, like a few of us in this thread that don't use the gamma thing regardless of others. Well, at least enough to fill a few servers. Yeah? ;)
