    As an admin you have to separate game from being admin... If you can't do that, you shouldn't be an admin. Some of the stories I read about on how abusive admins are and can be only shows that it's too easy to fire up your own server and claim it to be the best. I don't claim to be the best but I do take being admin very seriously and don't dick around. As server admins we're here to maintain the mod and make sure people have a good time on our servers first and foremost!

    What kind of shinanagans is 1.7.5.1 pulling on Taviana 2.0 servers? Running a Taviana 2.0 server and am wondering if we should wait to update or are the bugs not all that drastic. Can't seem to find much at the moment about what bugs are being experienced on any of the 3rd party maps, if any.

    I would advise getting used to it because the SA will be just as tough, if not tougher. Shouldn't complain that easy mode DayZ is the thing of the past. As a few others have said, the zombie apocalypse shouldn't be a cakewalk. I say bring on the harshness of it all!

    It's for the shear enjoyment of greaving other players and getting some kind of twisted satisfaction in doing so. One would think it's mostly children but who knows, even adults have a twisted mentality and enjoy the giggle factor of ruining someone else's game. They are a bane to Admins and players alike, unfortunately. *sigh*

    Changed server providers. Game settings still the same. Server based in Los Angeles now, but pings to AU East Coast are very good.

    The past couple days the Singapore servers are having a relatively high ping. I'm in AU and getting almost 300pings to my server, whereas a few days ago it was 154-160. Something going on here?

    DayZ DB for checking the maps and your location. Of course using the online maps is a bit of a advantage but you still have to find you bearings if you're in the middle of nowhere. Army bases, Airfields(especially NW), and major cities for decent weps. Of course you will find Lee Enfields and Shotguns in large farmhouses, although effective they attract a lot of Zombie attention so are considered not that great really. Good luck!

    Yeah, no 3rd person view is not for everyone but it is how Veteran mode should be played. Makes it much more difficult as you say and that's a good thing. ;)
