The continuous horror stories I hear about admins abusing their power. There needs to be an aptitude test before becoming a game server admin I think. It seems a lot of them are asshats that have no clue on how to run a proper game server. Either that or they think they're holier than thou and can do whatever they please to anyone. They definitely need to have the brain to grasp the concept of being fair to their player base not just doing things, just because they can. *sigh* Pisses me off, because these so called "admins" give the rest of us decent admins a bad rap.

It has always been said that the initial release was going to be an unfinished(Alpha) but playable game. They want us to play it and give feedback on what we like, what we don't like and what we want to see. They have also adhered to the addition of content over time when it's prudent to do so. The way the SA is looking, I'll happily pay the few $$ to play the "Alpha" release without vehicles knowing down the track; when vehicles do come; they'll be a kick ass addition not something just shoved in just because. If the release is in June and as mentioned Aug-Sept for vehicles, we'll have enough to keep us busy for the month or so until that happens. I don't understand the "I want it now" mindset, we all want a good game and the only way we're going to get that is to be patient and give our feedback when the Alpha is released. When it comes down to it, it is us the players that will make this game what it should be.

Their loot table is now "Hunting", no longer "Military". So you won't find Military items in them any more.

In the Sig... ;) Rather than complaining about it, if people would just start playing on these Vanilla servers they obviously wouldn't be so dead. So many threads over the past week I've seen asking where to find DayZ servers that cater to the likes of people posting in this thread. Shit, if you all got together you'd probably fill a few servers... Just a thought.

I have people spawn in with the standard bandage, PK's and flashlight plus BeanZ and a Coke, besides that they're on their own. I think the PvP mentality has taken over and the survival aspect chucked out the window for a lot of servers. It seems to be the popular thing to do but meh, I was never into popularity contests ;) Custom loadouts(pay to win) seems like another tactic servers use as well *sigh*

I kick with a request to change the offensive name as soon as they hit the server. To ban from the get go is definitely not the way to rectify the problem.

<delay>000000</delay> isn't necessary unless you want to delay time from startup. Schedules work perfectly fine without it but I would recommend going Here for help. Us not knowing what the OPs Scheduling script looks like, kind of leaves us in the dark to what exactly the problem is.

The can debacle was a complete and utter disappointment. The people that were up in arms about Devs/Mods that deserve the recognition; albeit a small token; was asinine to say the least. With the shitstorm that surrounded the whole childish ordeal, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get a an update on the SA until it's released. Yes, I truly believe after what happened this week the community needs a good kick in the ass!
