I think this statement is actually not the case... If guns/ammo are rare people would have to think twice about shooting someone as to waste their last few bullets on a person that didn't have any ammo to begin with. If you run around shooting everyone hoping they have ammo and there isn't any, well at that point you're shit out of luck.The scarcity of loot won't help KoS it will hinder it as will the addition of more Zeds. Rather than running around shooting people in the face there will be a consequence and people will have to actively think first before shooting. Maybe even have to interact with people.

The only way you'll have multiple characters is one for first person servers and one for third person servers. You can however share games in Steam through Family Share, but there are some stipulations on that. DayZ will never be a game of convenience, whereas mechanics of the game will help you advance in the game any easier, it is what it is. ;)

My understanding is that the M4 spawns have been reduced to at least half of what they were. They were spawning a bit much so this is a good change, at least now an M4 will be a prized posession.

I highly suggest that you learn how to properly use a forum, not just to try and seek attention, not to up your post count but to actually offer some constructive additions to already active discussions. Not trying to be a dick, but proper use of a forum means to search and post in the proper thread if there is a thread on the subject matter you want to post on. Redundant threads make the Mods job all that much harder and clutter up the forums. That why in a lot of sigs you will find "Please use the search function before posting". ;)

Well the area of spawn is restricted to the east, you will spawn as far up as Nizhnoye and as far south as Elektro. The change is/was much needed. More threads on the subject if you'd care to search for them. ;)

Elektro is as far south as you'll spawn and it looks like that's rare, not a bug. A much welcomed change. Many other threads on the subject as well. ;) -
1. It is their game and not yours to say what you can do with it. 2. You rent a server... Key word "RENT" and basically any rules that are applied to the renting of that server by the GSP or Devs of the game. Nobody is forcing you to RENT that server, you do it on your own accord. Your argument is moot.

Again, people just glean what they want out of a post and spew what they THINK the whole post is about. I did say that there is plenty that could happen between there and your ultimate destination. See in your final statement you seem to think a gun is the only way to survive and the only thing of value, you're sorrily mistaken. Can't open a tin of beans with an M4. ;)

Umm where did I say to go just explore? Nobody said they couldn't shoot people this would be part of survival. You really need to try and comprehend posts not glean what you THINK has been said.

This argument of "40 minutes of nothing" is moot. There's plenty of things that can happen, plenty of towns to search and plenty of potential human interaction between the point you spawn at and your ultimate destination. There are many towns to search for weapons, ammo and food. I don't understand the instant wanting to B-Line it to Balota, Cherno or Elektro, there are plenty of other places to go. The whole argument is more about wanting the so called end game 5 minutes after you spawn. Again... Why?

Because it makes you have to survive to get that gear. Survive hunger, thirst, sickness and whatever else you run into. New Flash! This is a Horror Survival Game which is nothing like BF4 or CoD. Just sayin...

The change is fine, it's the people who want it easy that have it all wrong. Before buying this game people should of done their homework and educated themselves on what type of game DayZ is/will be. It's only going to get more difficult and this has always been the course. Some just need to realise this and get a grip cos easy mode is about to get shitcanned.

Everyone's who's complaining just wanted to run into Balota and gear up easy peasy. Now with M4's being half of what they were and spawns on the east coast you'll have to work for it a bit more. That's what this game is about and I welcome the change. I will say I went to Balota today and not an M4 was to be found, did find a nifty .357 and some ammo. DayZ is only going to get more difficult, so some that are complaining about the changes now aren't going to like what's to come. Honestly, skins won't be an option since the advent of different clothing options already, humanity/karma systems, maybe. In saying that, KoS has been covered many, many, many times in other threads(search function).

Although this has been covered in multiple threads(search function), I will say that at the present time there are much more important things than implementing vehicles.
