I am glad you guys sorta Role played it to have fun. I think you will enjoy it once more of the actual listed features are in the game around so called "beta" Not sure how much actually will be completed and added to the game after it goes to exp, then to stable. But good for you guys to still enjoy some of the game play. I think there is a few servers out there doing much like you guys are doing. Plus it adds some unknown factors in it if bandits come around.

Not 1 of us are behind the scenes so how do we know what the devs are doing. I gotta agree with Guy Smiley there, its all nonsense... Lack of knowing is just another fear, and negative review. The only thing it is doing is taking forever to play a cool game... that's it. Id rather wait then having a character glitch out anymore. All hogwash....

I dont mind the darkness at all, that way i dont have to fudge up my gamma. Instead of a sniper rifle during the night ill just wait until they introduce the "Gattling Gun" lol joking aside i am ok with flashlights... -
It isn't about the numbers as much is it hitting Experimental before stable. So calling it beta before it is fully tested, doesn't seem right. Id rather they keep it at alpha in experimental, then rename it to beta when its ready to hit stable. We have not seen half of what they promise, but i expect in the summer we might start seeing it. Sooner? great but keep it in experimental and dont rename it to hype dayz anymore.... I dont need to keep eating apples and spamming the well any longer?? get my point.

That there alone makes a huge difference keeping some of the load on the client. All the more to have the best video card, processor and tons of memory.

Not sure how far you devs are planning on going with the water, but it looks amazing. Also dimples in the water when it rains, would that just add too much effect? is it even worth it, maybe reducing performance, when we need it so much more for AI? Either that or little effects can reduce the base building stutter we felt in .62 etc... Maybe we will see a huge difference with it in .63 with the new engine. Just the loading of items seems to make players aware of its location.

It boils down to frustration of delays, shear lack of patience, shear understanding of what is involved with this type of game and the size, and it also falls down to what you where originally expecting from Dayz. I also think many people saw what .30 .40-.45 (exploded population for pvp) and expecting dayz to come along from that era. Now that everything has been moving forward to a complete revamp it mainly boils down to frustration and time delays. Remember each and everyone that is playing or not play is still the same people that backed the game. Show some restraint for those with little to no patience for dayz at this time frame. Lets hope that .63 brings everyone closer, and that includes the mods too.

Yeah many of us have talked about this sine 2015, The idea that i thought up in the other base building concepts was if your close to a base and logged off, was to have you port over 500m away from the initial point so no hoping was allowed to port you into a base. The 2nd idea was to remove Public hives. Since private can do their own rules. The point of being able to build a base is to protect your wares, and build a community of sorts. If it is simply what we have seen since Dayz SA was nothing but grieving tactics or Cheating tools then it is hopeless. Walling up an existing building would be best suited. Arma 3 Exile would run scripts to kick a person back or announce to the devs who was trying to peek even through. Good script at the time, needed some work but it is very possible to record the persons name, UID etc... of any exploits. The cheats on the other hand need to be under control otherwise public servers are useless.

Default game will be default packages, modders will make it into what they want. Bob you know this? Nothing wrong at all with the game design theory it is now, if half the items we saw since pre days are going to be included are there then it should be fun still. I do like to see what some modders may bring to this game. Lots of good ideas flow. *It also depends* on if arma gets a hold of this engine before or after dayz then we will see how many high end weapons makes it to dayz..... Just saying..... it can/maynever make it to dayz.

The only one that might have done that prior is Survive the nights, as in 2014 i think there was a pre pre alpha trailer hookup. But trailers, campers all of that really isnt a new idea.... i think we been towing trailers for more then 70 yrs?? hehhe -

ATM there is games like The Forest etc... that you can play offline. It does give you some sense of single player game. Not to bad and the AI are done rather decent to be honest. Give it a wirl...lots of new updates to it since i last played.
