Ya base building or something wasn't it? Forgot Helicopters, boats, heli spawns (new i think was it.) but we never got to see helis yet or boats. I know there was a ton more little ones, i dont think winter map, or expansion of the map is in the works for this.

I agree emu, a wise thought out feeling of yourself i knew would come out eventually. Not just jumping on the dayz bandwagon. On a different note. Sometimes people dont like what others have to say, but ill be very honest since we first where told of this and that and this and that nothing was actually time framed at all. It felt all slapped together in the dev process. IS this a lie or misconception? no its what many of us where so upset over. From a testers point of view, i hope no other company ever does this to us again. Its out of control or felt that way. Example Introduce the bus, take it back out, reintroduce the bus, take it out then add in hats, rain coats, and boots. Testers where not given the proper tools, but thrown unknown testing additions. Was not given information, was not introduced to test out key features, or find existing issues but thrown a buggy bus that when hit with a arrow would flip the bus or fly in the air. This is why some of us are fed up with that dev process, not trying to be mean but it was a Dev management failure. (on a testers basis) not normal game play. What are we testers? scum? That's the way i felt, and i was a tester being paid a long time ago. Just saying there is always 2 sides to that coin.

Oh its dangerous being a sniper kited out anywhere. When you think you got your kill down, another sniper has homed in on you. At least it was this way over a yr or two ago when we had actual player bases.

I know you signed up in 2012 i didn't until i dunno 2014 on the other closed account. i think doesn't matter but i wonder how many real players still have been following since 2012 that are left. That's a full 6 yr forum accounts, a very life time of a online game. I have been following since 2012 but stopped playing up until last year some time.

No no dont blame him for his feelings, we all have them me included and we are simply fed up. Your on the last list of good bye players still posting in these forums. If it returns in 2019 and attracts the player base back then so be it, but everyone has there moment of frustration, blow ups. Honestly your in the minority now, and it is shown by the numbers still playing dayz. People angry or not, still have hope but it is very thin right now...

But no where does it say that survival should have rules that fit one side of the table. You can restrict this on your own server. The reason i say this is because the larger body we know that have put dayz up until finished did KOS, pvp and much more. Many of those players also had Arma 3. Many of which liked epoch, and exile, and Pubg. Survival is fun when you mix it with pvp, kos. But it isn't always fun when your on the coast and some newbie rushes you while your just trying to start fresh. This is why random spawning around the game map is very important so that we do not have a milsim stationed right at the spawn point.

Ive read a few responses here, and i know its been hashed to death about kos, friendly all that good boring stuff... but did you know that it hasn't changed? Yes nothing wrong with making friends, being friendly and Kosing etc.. but nothing has changed in all the games since 2012, the same thing is talked about, rehashed and explored to death on how to make it work. The only thing i can honestly say is making a Role Playing server, or a PVE+PVP server and make rules. Right now i see you guys crossing the line, i dont want to just KOS people id rather play and make friends. You know i just tried that in SCUM recently and was attacked. I said come on just trying to say hi, and such. But so be it i am no longer making friends in game, contact me via steam and ill hookup and add you to discord. FYI 6-0 kills, and all with a shotgun distanced. You will not sneak up on the sneakydude that's for sure. It is still the same thing we had in .40+ nothing changed guys, we cant change what has already happened. Ill tell you why it is like this, you have 1. A cross from different shooter games, 2. Survival with Shooter game is catching on. 3. People liked the arma 2-3 Epoch, exile epoch style of game play. End result = You can not stop the KOS freight train, sorry guys. Best to start making a closed server, for Non KOS and make rules... i am just saying this now to save yourself some issues in the future. If you wish to continue this debate i would do it in a closed session on your own server when it hits stable. Sorry to say your going to lose the Nice guy, fun guy attitude... I tried too...

Ignore that garbage man, rabbles on in tongues people can not understand him. We paid for this game, its not done yet that's why i am back to see my released project. not 1 account but 2 i purchased. Still unable to play it, its no where near done yet. 1 more year again passes by.

We have already seen the trailers, throwing big words at it doesn't make an argument you know better then this. It was shit then and still is going to be shit. Down to 100 followers, too me that's shit. This one should have been done by now, made great. Not some gumball of garbled code.

Arma 3 is too the same way now, much of the population and Modders have moved onto other projects. Half of the people stopped purchasing before apex. It just was a great idea turned really bad for the modding community.

This game has proven many more things then just a simple slow dev process. Many outside devs know all about dayz and how its progressing. They used it as a bases for "What not to do in Dev". The rest on steam are just cashing in on the ability to slow development process. What can be learned is the wasted money spent on time and rehashing the items already created. Those hours on pay can never be reclaimed. We are already past the selling point of Dayz and now has been turned into a niche game, low population etc.. It will never get back to where it once was.

I doubt it i will play, i do check back to see if its canceled yet. The bugs, constant setbacks are just mind boggling. Oh well at least we funded a new engine right? Joking aside i hope the best for the project.
