I found all kinds of bipods but all of a sudden 0 found. I hopped to many servers. Ill keep looking.

Ill keep testing doug, it will be a basic cloth setup, and 1 m4 gun to play with with all the turkey fixings you placed on the weapon.

I almost know the bipods being shifted (moved within the gun inventory) while the handguards are being placed on are only a key to why it is causing corruption in the database. Its not a simple thing, see when the database is written it stays until you move an item around. it re records what you have listed. Somehow when you swap an item area you have 0 inventory or it is damaged the record in the database. totally surprised me, how this can happen. But i am no expert on their database, game files to know yet.

Amazing today saw them hop a fence, and Climb over a car. Wasnt ever so impressed by those infected. I hope ours will come where we can do the same things. Will make modding much better for us.

I should also mention, that pulse while steam = offline = unknown entity fyi In some cases kill status messages are not always a bad thing. It can keep it a fair playing ground. But that is for another topic...

The server login queue is one of the reasons why i brought it up now, if the devs see the topic they might be able to see where we are coming from. Now rather then later to save time, and complications of Player status in game, by steam or any other reason. P = on serves purpose right now. P = Off servers no purpose right now If the steam can be blocked to show others of your guid, but keep it open to your friends only while in game that would be perfect. Showing 1 player online = your friend bob. Otherwise completely disabled to all things. Admin log files would be important if not abused, and we can not make that happen. Admin files are for server ops to determine cheats, bans etc... It is up to each server op to gather their own intel before ejecting a GUID. Pulse is the only way to determine the GUID otherwise (if not online) So pulse = Gone if P is removed. 1 thing effects another thing....

The only thing i am really sure on that happened to me is being Insta-KO'd from joining a server in rain and going insta hypothermia from healthy to pretty much dead in under 5 minutes. Red in under 10 seconds. I am wondering if you both had the memory crashing bug i had, when as a fresh spawn i would run, then die and be reborn 6 times the same way. It is insta death that way. Or perma Desync within the server. I have only ever witnessed that happening 3 times in the whole 1200 hours playing with friends and being online when they screamed WTF! 1 hit infected... dead.

This is not an exploit, 3rd party app, cheats, or anything above it is simply a normal tool we had before, and now other tools take place of the same tool we once had. This is why P must be placed back in. Unless the devs plan to block steam completely except for admins to log files only.

still been looking for a bipod, can not make myself wipe. Traded items till i was blue, even shot a guy standing in the tent OMFG scared me. rat -a tat tat unknown entity :)

Ok doug, running toon to transfer off some of the good items and i will be hoping to swap items in and out as fast as i can to find the wipe problem. What did you put on the m4 different then i did?

I know about those reaches and the fact they pop out of nowhere but i am still not able to see knocked out thing. I was hit a ton today by the tent city ones. I fired like crazy trying to stir up more to do and test those gear bugs we seem to be having. Will test more for you bud.

Bipod =bar? Hardguard maybe the trigger but the bipod maybe the problem??? Let me swap gear with my brothers toon, and ill do some more testing on it.

I just tried the ak 101 handguard swap from inside the backpack and NO WIPE. Comment Actions So i would determine that by looting that handguard into backpack then swapping is the correct way? Also did some other configurations to the 101 such as the east, and flashlight. NO wipe The only thing i havent tried, is the AK and the AKM guns with bipods or the M4 bipod. There is such a bipod now correct?

Skorpion i found in the police area (and now tents), i have only been to the tent city. Found a VSS at tent city but never the skopion. Just a mag. The FN fal mag was found at the crash site but never a FN fal rifle. I will start moving the airfield and look for the FN fal rifle. M4's and Augs have been found at tent city, Ammo, items etc.. So all tents will have them mixed. Not just tent city. Stary tents had all kinds of stuff too, so did cherno tents. I haven't been to the airfield or any other military bases since .55 i think? questioning myself now. So this new one i have never seen before.

OK i re read everything here, The only way i could switch handguards was in my backpack. It was not allowing me to just simply drag and drop onto the gun. Is this a possible reason? OH and i was very lucky to find a PSO-1 scope, and today an ACOG :) now i have all of the scopes even a hunters scope pristine... IS there anyway to let the devs know this is what i have tested?? and if they have any other suggestions what to try and get the bug wipe?

No gear loss, same issues just surprised my gun is now badly damaged but still fires. BTW i believe i have been on fragnet servers, gameservers.com and others so far.

All pristine parts all of a sudden the M4 now says badly damaged after swapping parts. I just swapped the handguard on the gun for you guys, lets see if i lose all of my gear. Edit = Exit program, now starting up the game from scratch.

Exactly what you suggested mookie, lets see if i am wiped. I however have 2 weapons, 1 is M4 and the other is the AK101 No bipods ever have i used, and never had a wipe since i got back to .60. Logged off for the night, started up my brothers character to transfer the m4 to, haven't logged in since on my account with the weapons. Since my brother doesn't play as often as i do, i thought why not help him out some with a m4 since he has never had one. I will report back any findings, i do find with both accounts and let you all know. Edit = All of this was done without the knowledge of this thread, it was normal protocol to pickup a prestige item and refit damaged. Edit #2 = I have an M4 60mag, m4 damaged handguard, m4 )new buttstock cqb) rds optics. Sorry guys those new parts are what i exchanged, NO WIPE... even the AK101 i put a folding buttstock on. NO Bipods used.
