Exactly and how long have you and i been playing this? both All Three of us where like that when .45 and .46, and so on came out. We hoped it would be prevailing. My hopes are your hopes but what i am going to say might not be cool. I don't believe the base building will be that good on public servers. I do believe it will work on private, white listed servers. There are too many failures to happen on public servers. It will be exactly like how rust, ark and many more end up becoming raided, grieved etc... So unless you figure out what you want to do, and how it will fail you will get losses of gear after gear until your fed up. So its best to get used to it now, and understand it can be worse before better. When a server goes poof, it is not the fault of the server owner, usually. It is the patches, the loss of membership, or the costs. It was too soon to start hosting your own servers without modding. A simple step that wasn't foreseen. The community needed to grow together before apart. This way we would not have issues with the way hives worked until it was ready. These decisions are not our fault or something we wanted. We had to go with it, which is one of the reasons why the server went poof for anyways. To store on a hive the gear, is almost impossible when someone with the same ip wants a fresh new server. Or not, whichever happens. It just sucks is all for everyone, with differences of play style and appeal.

I heard something on the forums we had 8 months to roughly go until beta. That's good to know, i thought we where 2 years to go only last month. What features do we have remaining left to put into the game?

You know a fair bit, and if that is true reading by the lists we had at the top post, there is a ton still to go. or are these things already there, just not put in place yet.

You maybe sick of it, but its the truth. It is out of our control. The more people realize there is no way we can protect our stuff because of other players, bugs, and game updates you have to realize we as players have no control. Best to keep learning that. I totally agree with you on many levels but facts are facts we as players have no control. Maybe one day it gets fixed where we can PVE in a PVP survival game. I too wish for this.

What eggs? this is what people in dayz don't get. It is alpha and everything must go. So we should not be attached to any stash or gear currently on ourselves. I know... you lose all those hours of hard work, and i completely agree but with the current state, you pretty much can lose everything you own the very next day. Tents, and barrels are found way to easy. Gawd help us if base building becomes a thing, because it will be wiped before the following updates.

That happens when there is not enough donations to continue to keep it around. It is very costly to run a dedicated GSP private hive, and public is not what some of us want. I recommend Bluewaffles for lots of pvp, and HIHB for events. Unless you like to Roleplay. Most of these are moving IP's and getting away from DDOS attacks going on.

They can, and i think its mostly around the time you carry something in your hands, or run up and down quickly. It also could be with desync to the server. Any packet loss etc.. Its not as common as in the past though. I've ran up and down ladders with 2 weapons and survive 99% of the time

Did they not pull the rest of the weapons to fix the sounds?

Well you really cant go wrong. By the time everything is finished and polished you will come to enjoy it more. There is many of us that have well over 1000 hours playing. The Devs over 5000 hours. So you see there is tons of bugs that are stupid ones, but the game is playable and enjoyable at times. If we can get rid of the DDOs Attacks happening and the constant cheating crap, to a point its enjoyable on public, private is really the only way to go. There is a good number of us older players, and a ton of younger players. Most of which play on public, but us older players tend to stick to private servers and put events on or simply pvp it out all over the server. If its PVE your looking for, its very lacking and within a few hours you have it all learned. Izurvive, is a good map to place yourself a marker where you logged off, or simply use it for a small group indicator. Wiki's and other resources are always important, remember the maps and items change, so does the player base. We have gotten rid of many squeekers by the looks of it, but maybe i am not playing when they do. The coast is still a bad place to loot up, so go inland and enjoy the experience. I have no doubt, about drinking like that. but when you go from 600m to 600m right now you can go pretty thirsty :) Its the hypo, hyper thing. that needs tweeked.

It will be worked on more. It is no where near perfect, and has many bugs related to those items, uses.

It is most likely true, as 1 apple sitting on a couch seems to make me hungry. But besides that it is no where near accurate because we travel in dayz 240km and drink 6 - 12 jugs of water in just 50km in roughly 30 minutes to 1 hr we cover? the whole map? + not around the map.

What your saying is for public game play, for Private hives it will be pretty much wide open for mods and 3rd/1st so unless someone makes a custom 1p server with different mod ideas your still only going to have limits on what you wish for. It will eventually end up a lot like arma series, it just depends on the admins on what they want to offer up. Don't get to attached to ideas, because it can change without warning any time. 1st person wont be the only server available no matter how much you believe it will be, better experience or not the norm today is 1st/3rd.. in the Arma series.

Yeah exactly, don't buy new just look for used stuff, your tower will last for awhile longer though. 16gb aim for on the new one, and maybe skip the 900 series and go into the 1000 series cards.

You got a good system there NL, couple tweaks and you could have it running really quick. The memory you might be able to find a pair of 8's The video, yes i recommend finding a better one for the sake of enjoyment. The 780ti is amazing but the 900 cards are coming in really good prices.

That is so true, sometimes i wonder if i get headaches from the fast turns we do in dayz. I find it heavy on 1st but in 3rd i can focus somewhat. I don't know even with head bob it can get annoying real fast, with it turned off you still get the movement in 1st. Some days are better then others. I have been trying to play more on 1st person and getting back to it, but i do wish we have some changes to this UI and character movement system. Its clunky and horribly designed. I know changes will come but when and to what level with the stamina effects take control.

I can build that unit up sometime to prove my point, i have about 12 of those cpu's in storage. It is worth buying the game just not with that computer. Save yourself some problems, and get an I5 + 900 series video cards, unless you find a beatiful gtx 780ti SC video card for cheap prices, used or new will be a few bucks.

That CPU is a no. Your using ddr2, slower these days and the cpu will bottleneck with that graphics card. It will work on very low settings. Also you would be causing server lag too. You need to swap to a new tower. I am sorry to have to say this to you. but its a NO :(
