    A quick search would have reveled a ton of already suggested pissing in dayz, arma 3 already has it. Pretty much most of it has been suggested. https://forums.dayz.com/search/?type=all&q=peeing I don't think this is a good feature at all, and it takes the devs away from many aspects we need BI to move away from. Character Animation, movement is so much more important then pissing. You could do a private modded nekkid server if you like, as long as the devs approve of it. If not find it on the chopping block.

    Bi isn't that stupid, and never have been. Guns should be lower in numbers due to the amount of survival gear that everyone has been searching for. We can not have have them too low because what happens, the whole population will just server hop the best loot locations. We have enough servers to handle this. We have enough exploits without making this a major #1 title after Dayz :(

    almost impossible to deal with these forums, login errors geez. I am still looking for scopes, it could be possible those scopes have not been fixed to the new engine, and its trying to render too much. Ill keep looking and see what i can come up with. I run in a window, so it may show different then full screen mode. Ill do both to test it. I do notice there is a huge freeze from 90fps to 8fps then goes back to 90fps. I doubt that is the towns unloading items or big tents. I think that too is also in still. So none of the bugs we really posted on prior have been basically fixed. Some did with the updates but not many as for mechanics etc.

    NO i totally agree with you, i am just saying give my settings a try with vsync, and AA. Motion blurs etc.. until we get it optimized. I am just going to test it for you, to see if i can come up with the same problem. If only i could meet up and test your FPS drops. You and a few others experience this. What scope is that long ranged? so i know to pick it up on the b95 right?

    AA off, shadows off, reso is very high. Keep it here like mine 1920x1080 Vsync off........ I was so smooth getting into experimental i just about fell off my chair yes your processing too much, ill find a scope and test my settings then post it for you.

    Good system, have you checked all of the settings or do you just leave them to ultra? and not adjust Vsync or AA or any other settings. You would have to tweak everything. I haven't tried to go into .61 but willing to give it a stab today. Ill test all the video and come out with a decent scenario for you. Mine is a 850 pro x2 mirror, i7 4770k, gtx 780ti SC 3gb, 16gb it is rather close to each others system. Your card is the newer titan correct?

    When that happens, try checking your settings. I dont mean a standard to ultra settings, check to see if your machine needs to be "really" fine tuned with Vsync, AA, and understand each feature. I know much of this is not always explained to the gamer but times have changed. We now need to know everything for our high end towers. A simple CPU, video card tweak doesn't cut it. If you want a seamless experience in a Sandbox environment you need to adjust everything. When you scope out, it can have tons to do with the mods, or items and the coding involved. It may come up with an RPT error your not seeing. Convex not working, etc... Ill try and find an error from arma 3 i see a server - scripter - modder 8:04:32 Strange convex component01 in cup\weapons\cup_weapons_west_attachments\leupoldvx3\cup_leupoldxv3.p3d:geometry 8:04:32 Strange convex component01 in cup\weapons\cup_weapons_west_attachments\leupoldvx3\cup_leupoldxv3.p3d:geometryFire This can have all kinds of strange FPS drops. then we have these errors, that we dont know if when looking at them through the scope and what to expect to see. 8:04:30 Error: Bone slot_backwpnl doesn't exist in skeleton OFP2_ManSkeleton These are just examples of hidden rpt reports that are done by the server, that the user does not see. It can be many things, and each and everyone will have different issues. Arma 3 has issues right now with poor performances, and dayz is not any where near to beta so each item may not be completely fixed.

    Yup you need BI to manage about 20 servers, half 1st person and half 3rd person. Because some day this engine is going to hold 255 players right?

    OP we have no info about what mods, what anything will be like in the future. It is just thrown at us when its thought of after the fact. So the only thing some of us have going is arma 3 modding tools, what we can do and can not do.

    Like i was saying prior, games are good to explore. I cant wait to see survive the nights, it will be in steam soonish. Dayz will be done when its done.

    AH yes, but i also known many people to get a divorce too, meaning they completely walked away. And by hearing all the USA women single now, seems to be a all time high, i can only imagine what it is like in europe.

    Yeah, your completely correct, but dayz wont be the same when it hits beta, most have moved onto other games. Doesn't matter for development either, they got the money its spent, invested so when the game comes out in beta those people will enjoy it.

    Three Things YOU Still Want

    Don't expect the zombies "the walking dead thing" until we see how much the engine can handle. Arma 3 engine couldn't handle more then 30 without killing the experiences on full pop server. Sandboxes are very difficult to program and if dayz has a hard time doing it now, don't expect many modders to do any better. But your wishes may come true with maybe the next title from BI. 1000 zombies all chasing you, is rather taxing on the system if currently impossible.
  21. I must admit the collision programming team is getting much better. Things have been improving very well since .45 Did the new engine help make it easier? i believe the same would be cows walking into the fences.

    You will always have 1st person servers, it just depends on which one you will have to white list to first. I am hoping infistar and BE come up with a great solution to allow people to host "Public" servers safely.

    Hey @Hicks_206 (DayZ), After i read some work on 3rd person (being looked at), i guess to "Change the way" we play, will you guys look at what "arma" series did wrong, and enhance that? Such as forcing headbob even if it was turned off. Certain effects that might hinder people such as lights, sounds, and proper resolutions. Remember some of these things are totally different for some players, not always the mass have any of these. Had a friend explain again to me last night, when modding the arma 3 exile server why i had so many issues with 1st person through the tanoa trees. I just couldn't stay in 1st person. Took me 2x as long to drive through those trees. I guess it explains why i have so sensitive eyes yet perfect eye vision. Some lights, some games just are too hard to focus on. Otherwise "popcorn" time :)

    Yes that is correct, but not going to be always the way. It will be up to how a modder, scriptwritter does his own server can it really be labeled hardcore in some fashion. 1 zombie vs 50 zombies hardcore ill call it hardcore infected, 1 KOS vs 50 KOS ill call it hardcore pvp. Just an example. Hardcore today could be no loot, complete survival, etc.. after i mod it harder then vanilla on normal mode ill call it hardcore survival. But today we label everything to do catchy advertisements.

    Ah but you forgotten one thing, The game was evolving from a "point" then was changed. So in fact it was his game, just it was changed on him before he had a chance to change his <back> button on purchase. So if i told you pvp, survival, and hardcore mechanics where apart of it, then i introduce no - pvp, no survival, and software core mechanics. The big problem i have been finding with EA games is no clear rules for purchase, no clear rules for changes a simple note on the wall (Things may change at any time) is not a good enough thing to sell EA games on. SO i guess what needs to change is, you have to have a mandate spelled in blood on the steam early purchase rules, that you clearly have intended for buyers. Just don't simply click pay now!! When i sell you a vacuum i sell you something that sucks up dirt etc.. but when i sell you a piece of software, it plays a game but at no time can i ever guarantee it will ever not change its shape and how it picks up dirt. I honestly vote for changes to steam EA rules. This has nothing to do with BI, or any other company in general, but EA in general. This is why a clear, set of exactly what this game will become in the end will look like is what you should pay for. It would save Hicks and so many other countless other Leads so much time explaining what is changing day or night with the game. This is why modding is something we have to have no a days to save both sides the problems. So i do have to agree this is all this OP has to go on. The only thing that us modders do not know, is what tools, what core mechanics are staying in, and what core mechanics will be able to be checked off and on like Gear destruction 0-1 or a %
