We are very close to vanilla, just some mods to make cars resistant to body damage, and suppressors attract fewer zombies. Bad Day in Chernarus is a new server hosting up to 30 players on a high speed provider out of Chicago. It is close to vanilla, just a few mods added to make cars and suppressors more useful, and also added the RaG LandRover Defender mod. It's been a loooooong time since I've had a DayZ SA server host. Had no problems then, but then again there were absolutely no features for a moderator other than to restart the server. Now we can run mods on the servers, and as I understand it there are other settings to be played with. Can anybody recommend a good server host to rent from that is reliable and/or has better features? Or any experience with BAD hosts? Appreciate any info.

Correction. I did see 1 chicken that didn't move. Killed it with a knife (mad skillz, right?), but couldn't interact with the corpse.

I haven't seen any type of wildlife yet. Been searching all around, not even any wolves yet. Are they out of game for now?

I used to use barrels all the time in alpha, they never disappeared. I'll experiment with them in beta before I put anything valuable in them.

It was approaching nighttime on my server, so I lit a fire next to my tent (but definitely a safe distance away), watched it for awhile, then logged off. I logged back on about an hour later and it was dark, groping around in the dark I couldn't find anything, so logged back off. Again logged on an hour later and daylight was breaking. My tent was gone! No trace of the fire I had lit either, I assume a server reset. This is not an accelerated time server, and it is public. I logged back out to verify I was in the right server, yep, tent gone. Wtf? This was in the middle of nowhere, well hidden by trees, there's no way anybody could have found it that fast, I had just placed it an hour prior to my first logout.

My HUD disappeared yesterday. I can monitor my health, etc through the inventory key, but I am unable to see available commands for the item in my hand and nearby vicinity. Has anybody experienced this? More importantly is there a fix?

The only online servers running version ...415 are a few experimental servers, all the stable servers are still on 386. These are OFFICIAL servers mind you. Why haven't they been updated?

The P button got nerfed too. Can't see names of players on your server :/
