yesterday in dayz I said "hello person who is not going to murder me" (I just spawned in electro) as I was running into town, I instantly get shot and my legs break. Next thing I know I have two Asian guys are running around me speaking in broken english. I ask them to finish me off but they refuse. they start dropping stuff around me to tease me. One of them stupidly drops his magnum, I pick it up, shoot 5 bullets into him and use the last to commit suicide. I spawn Right back in electro, I see his buddy, I loot a couple of houses and find a hatchet, I run at the other guys friend, getting shot once in the process, and kill him with the hatchet, i die shortly afterward of bleeding. What is the point of this story you may ask? well is it always a good idea to announce yourself when entering a city, I discovered that it can be hilarious.

Being a hero is hard every five or so lives I take a small break and be a bandit(though that is really hard for me to do) I always have a tendency to help people even if it leads to my own demize: I was just at the NW airfield, I was fully geared, I ran to Cherno. I went into the police station and found a two bambis, one had a skorpion with 1 mag the other had nothing. I gave the defenseless one a glock with 2 mags, we heard gunshots, it was snipers on top of a tower. we went to kill them, me and the one with the skorpion went to the corner of the street and looked around it using 'e' the guy with the glock blasted both of us... I thought to myself after this "im a failure as a bandit" the end.

RIP, you could probably break a padlock by shooting it with a rifle anything smaller than that doesn't really work.

Id padlock every door in the cherno police station on a max pop server... then id laugh, then id cry cause I dont have a life.

In my opinion you shouldn't tell people about things until its finished and about to be released or at least not give an exact release date because if you are late people will be mad.

only one question -What is your favorite melee weapon and, or gun?

I dont see any examples but here is a story: I was once the way to electro to meet up with some buds who just hit up the nw airfield and had a party bus. I decided to loot the kamy police station I walked in to a room but two guys with pistols blocked the exit to the room, (I only had a knife). I turned around and stabbed one of the two guys then I got shot like 20 times. The End.

1. There arent many Zombies right now because the game cant handle it, if you go to the northwest airfield, Cherno, or electro you will see plenty. 2. Same thing happens to me even when its in my hotbar, Theres a cool app call isurvive which has the locations off all loot spawns and town names translated, there should be signs with the names of the town when you enter using the main road so use those to find your location. 3. "troll buildings" 4. Sprinting is worth it in my opinion. 5. look for "deer stands" they can contain military grade loot and are found on the outskirts of town usually right next to the forest. piece of advice for you TRUST NO ONE

I was on the forums today, and I saw the PS4 section, I literally almost shit myself, but for real this is awesome, this is coming from a guy whos played dayz (mod and then standalone when it came out) since almost the very beginning, I am incredibly excited. (im not on the forums much)

I dont want to think why you would want this, but I guess it could add to realism and stuff...

I agree, in my opinion there are far too many supplies, guns for example, at this point in the Zombie apocalypse the majority of them would be gone, on a max pop server only a few people should have guns and even fewer should have ammo.

Broken Persistence was awesome, but I doubt it would come back.

Every time I die I decide whether im gonna be a hero or bandit, I decided to be a hero this time, I was in my inventory getting a saline bag for him and he betrayed me. To be honest I kind of expected it (because this is dayz).

I used to be an adventurer like you but then the only person with a bow and arrow in the entirety of dayz shot me in my knee. But for real do I had an svd an ak-74 and multiple and gernades and was killed by a bow.

REALLY?!? I live in the middle of Texas and all the servers are either completely full or empty.
