What do you mean by this? Was he running at you and punched you while you were shooting or did he shoot hacker rounds at you? Just curious- There is definitely a point where a guy is just stalling and trying to keep you engaged as his friends come over to beat on you. We had that happen to us a few times in the past where people are really just stalling all aspects of the conversation and you can tell in their voice that they have no interest in your response. A lot of repetition... a lot of really esoteric questions... I think I've asked this before but I'm positive I've heard the same voice in half a dozen different servers exhibiting similar behavior- Is there some voice modulator people use to sound like a kid like 11-13 range and convincing? I try to give the squirts the benefit of the doubt but lately I'm much less patient given some of the encounters we've had. The other night I happened across someone around the docks at Sol- and he had a fire extinguisher (which I have seen kill a guy in one of the most hilarious videos I've watched on DayZ) up at the ready... I was trying to engage him in conversation but he was silent. Tracking me with his character- but silent. I kept sniper shuffling around as I waited for the rest of the helpy helpers to come in. I had a pistol drawn but not up at the ready as I ran around. I don't remember the conversation but the guy sounded pretty nice- I think looking back that he was really struggling with the key bindings... Anyway I wasn't seeing it quite that way at the time so when he put the extinguisher away and drew a long weapon instead I quad tapped him... The helpy helpers were like "who shot him!?" I was really feeling terrible about it- hoping the guy would spawn in close by and let us help him get back on his feet... sadly no.

Hmmmm- you know what... now that you mention it... I think I tried holding the drum in my hand to do it first and when that didn't work I tried putting it on the ground- Not sure I had the slots for it in inventory... I'll try that when I get back. Thanks CC.

I've got a green drum for an AKM I'm trying to top up and it won't load the ammo. Of course I'm using the right ammo- but it won't load it? Does the drum now have to be empty to put ammo back in? I have seldom ever used one so I'm not sure how long it's been like that (if it has been like that awhile). I've reported it as a bug but then realized there may just be some condition that exists that I don't know of.

I started a thread about this over in General and had some interesting feedback from a number of different people... from those insights as well as my own experience I had a few recommendations. 1) Many people don't realize you need a second account for the bug tracker. Part of the problem is that when you click "Bug Reports" it doesn't give you any indication that you're going to a whole other place outside of the forums... they seem connected. I recommend that, if possible, it be configured so that the link opens in a separate login page specific to the bug tracker- or even if you kept it the same way but opened an entirely separate page. 2) Update the profiles to accommodate the use of Windows 10 3) Merge product / game version so that it's less confusing 4) View Status should have a prompt that explains why a person would want to keep the report private ie: hack exploits etc. That's all so far... Anyone have any other suggestions?

When you were running... which side was the ocean on? If you WANT to know where you are, I'm sure a bunch of us have it pegged... but if not knowing where you are is half the fun- we'll keep it to ourselves.

And remember each implement you use requires "bait." You can dig up worms with any of the tools you can use to make a garden plot. (Not sure if how you bait a fish "net" trap... may not apply).

I seem to recall this happened last year too- at some point. I don't know if it was a DoS attack or what but it came back eventually. I'm sure it's no coincidence that whatever it is happened on a long weekend.
