    ? Did you just come here to post nonsense? Not being able to push is exactly that - the game isn't how it's supposed to be. It can likely be attributed to unfinished modules or an unfinished game in general, which I didn't deny and am perfectly aware of. That doesn't mean I can't call it annoying and or immersion breaking. It's no big deal, there is ways around this particular issue like shooting arrows at the car, taking off the weels and putting them back on a million times, throwing wheels at the car, restarting the server and and and - but annoying nonetheless.

    pushing a vehicle should be an option with how easy vehicles flip and do 180s. also STFU you are probably far more casual than me and will always be.

    Yeah really why do people ask the same questions over and ov- oh wait, it just happens everywhere. People just fail to use google. Also there is no FAQ and sometimes people - even in dedicated forums like this - fail to give a definite answer, so that can be another reason.

    Honestly I am fine with whatever is happening.. I just have my own gripes with the game like complete lack of realism in some cases. And some of these are real immersion breakers imo. -the unlimited inertia-less 22km/h sprinting -not being able to shoot out of vehicles (at least Brian admitted this sucks and he actually wants to push to be able to do that) -the complete lack of stances.. why can't I get on my toes to peak over high objects or rest my gun on this ledge that I am peaking over after a sprint? Why can't we climb the simplest objects? -garages void of car loot and what not.. having to look for tires and car equipment for AGES in an abandoned game world is frustrating, repetative and doesn't make sense whatsoever especially given the socio-economical background of place we found ourselves in -the movement and animations in general.. switching stances after a sprint for example is so delayed and clumsy, it takes about 3 seconds or so.. completely unrealistic, goofy and infuriating. could probably go on ages about the animations but yeah, they will get fixed. I dearly hope they will. -the inventory system - why can a car only hold such a small amount of items? IRL I could stuff the trunk of my (small) car with 5-10 rifles easily and still have more than enough room for plenty of small stuff/ clothes. -several other limitations of the engine which I forgot but always come back to you and are annyoing and immersion breaking -not being able to flip back vehicles -fuel leaking and any other un-counterable game mechanic (ye ye drive better, it rarely happens but when it does it's super annoying) sorry for crying but yeah. there are some other major points I unfortunately forgot right now.

    They don't give the wrong immersion.. it's just that they are completely different games in completely different engines while we are talking survial realism hardcore in a simulation orientated engine. Like I said, I feel the biggest questionmark regarding base building is actual player-/loot-/base safety. Because, you know, safety is ever so contradicting with the game concept and what makes it so outstanding. But then again, who wants to build a camp if it's gonna be torn to shreds once you go offline? Camp raiding will go way out of proportion once more vehicles enter chernarus. Makes me really wonder whether something like Locks should be implemented. Maybe they should and there should be a really lengthy expensive process in which you can break them. One major gripe I have with the game is realism tho.. the base concepts shown so far all have easily avoidable (as in: climb-able) walls. Would suck if you wouldn't be able to just climb those. Stuff like that is really immersion killing imo. Also I would love to be able to stand on my toes when for example in the old barracks showers to look out the high window. Hope that kinda stuff will be possible eventually.

    I haven't played DayZero but it looks fantastic - except for the recoil of the guns, it seems like none of them have any. But I really love everything else about it - movement, vehicles, items. Heard there are 60 bicycles per server. Looks like there is always (inter)action. Really hoping SA will be somewhat like that one day.

    Arguably some stuff could be rarer and overall the balance could be altered as well as loot zones could be introduced.. oh wait, that is exactly what is happening right now. If houses having loot feels like a grocery store to you nocturas then I hate to break it to you, but Dayz will always feel like a grocery store to you. But then again your complaints about "too easy" are kinda out of place.. infected and other AI threats are nowhere near final implementation, neither is the loot balance as mentioned above. So so glad this empty house crap is never going to happen, but keep making a fool out of yourselves by advocating it guys.

    Wait a second.. your two last posts seem a little contradicting. Either way, I think it's safe to say that you are a very small minority that actually enjoys playing in an.. empty gameworld. Just glad that will never happen. And all servers with pers on were bugged in 55 fyi.

    We will have them. Infected will spawn dynamically and in big numbers. I think the 0.55 patch community backlash hasn't quite reached you. Scarcity is not a solution nor is it good gameplay nor does it make sense nor is it immersive. I am sure someone will mod a server to your liking tho - so you can go searching for those kitchen knifes and taloon backpacks for hours on end.

    Well, whatever you say, being able to fit nato optics on a picatinny rail doesn't have anything to do with pimping and as for the folding buttstock, there was a folding buttstock for AKs and you still couldn't fold it. So nothing to see in that regard. Funnily enough, the way buttstocks work in this game you can actually remove them without any consequences other than a 0.01 dispersion penalty.

    Regarding performance I must say: 58 EXP had some of the best Dayz performance I ever witnessed. But even current servers stuffed with tents, cars and protector cases actually hold up fairly well - at least the private hives I am on do. It's not as good as that 58 exp tho.

    Since it has a picatinny rail, it's pretty safe to assume that you will be able to attach all 3 currently available Nato optics, the most gamechanging being the acog.

    IKR? Another "BTW" I just discovered. At 1:00 the chinese QBZ-03 (Type 3) is shown (650 RPM assault chambered in 5.56) with what seems to be a hunting scope on top of it. Later a 50cal is shown and explicitly stated that it's not meant for Dayz, for the chinese one not. I guess we know another rifle possibly coming to Dayz. Or not. PS: I am sorry for spamming your farming thread with this stuff but it wasn't worth making another thread for and the stable thread is locked for some reason :S

    Again I just wanted to say my opinion, great of all of you to act so childish and immature and great that all of you love the immersion killing perspective abuse fest that is 3PP so much, but it doesn't help the game. I am sorry but you guys are treating this like vietnam and then guy insults (which is breaking rules) and you approve.. get a life ty. I haven't ever had this "discussion" and I don't plan to keep it up. The only thing stupid is your utterly useless and inflammatory post. So far player danger has been the only threat in the game - and arguably it will always be one of the biggest. Perspective abuse works against AI threats too so IDK what you are trying to say. Guess how much easier it is hiding from predators that work on visual detection (like infected in the mod) in 3PP. Yes, not being able to see around corners or whats ahead of you on i.e. hills will make the game scarier, PvP or PvE. You could have started doing that or you could have acted immature and childish. You choose wisely. Again, since this is the 5th guy saying that - if you don't like my opinion, JUST READ OTHER THREADS. Same logic.

    I never said remove tho. It's not gonna happen. But I do think it's in the responsibility of the developers to bring 1PP closer to the community. Seeing yourself run? I don't think that's too important, much less worth sacrificing the immensely improved gameplay for. But again, up to the developers to do any steps in this regard.

    Completely agree with everything you said. The whole basebuilding concept is really cloudy for me in terms of gameplay balance and impact. Are players meant to be able to safely stash loot? If yes, how safe? What will be ways to safe it or break the safes? Codelocks? Keys? Explosives much like in Rust? I dont know and I will stick to hidden stashes just like you problaby. On a side note, anyone else excited for this (from the changelog)?     Atmosphere is part of the gameplay, the fear of death is reduced by the additional security gained from the perspective advantage. The height lift of the perspective, albeit small, removes a lot of otherwise prevalent uncertainty. Don't mean to start a discussion, for me and many others it is pretty clear which one is superior from a gameplay perspective (hehe) and I feel many people that disagree either haven't tried or wrapped their heads around it or just dislike it due to the uninfished player controller, so that's that. Others prefer the overview and the gameplay revolving around camping corners/walls/bushes and whatnot, some are roleplayers that do not care about the gameplay consequences implied by perspective - but even Brian Hicks mentioned he had thoughts of introducing 1PP on EXP for starters. Also as the game claims to be hardcore survival, it's even more of a logical next step. Again I am sorry if this might stir up any kind of 1pp vs 3pp war, but I guess the thread will be locked before that would happen anyway.

    Crash sites disappearing

    From my experience they can respawn within about 20 minutes. Sometimes they last longer, I guess especially when noone looted them, but as long as you loot them, around 20 minutes should be accurate. Thats why driving a heli root with a car is so overpowered, one day of doing that and you will have loads of all the good heli gear.
