Hi everyone, in my server config I set enableDebugMonitor=1 and noticed something strange with the height measurement that makes me wonder: On what depends the height value? (If it's a valid height value after all. I expect the concept to be: the value shows an absolute position of my player.) There are some instances where I thought: The value here should be higher than at that place over there. But it wasn't. This is one of them: Anyone got an explanation? 🙂

Hi everyone, met some more or less friendly people on the NP-PvP server - in Novo as well as in Berezino. Language is German. Hope you enjoy. 🙂

Hello everyone, I want my own DayZ server for the use of content creation and some testing. So I don't care about slot-number - if lesser means cheaper - the better. :) There might be options using the server of other people for these purposes, but if I can get my own for an acceptable price, I'm in. I'm no coder, but I'm confident to make some changes if needed. Some basics I expect: Mod-support password or whitelist option for a free cam option to spawn specific items (host in Europe preferred) That's pretty much it. - Would be nice if you could provide some hints on what kind of server/mods I need. :) Thanks a lot!

Hi all, problem: ingame the voices of other players are there and I can understand them, but in some occasions it's still troublesome, especially cross-language. The ingame settings already are at max. And I do not want to push the ambient sounds any further (by raising up the system sound, for instance). In the config file I found these parameters; volumeMaster=10; volumeCD=5; volumeFX=5; volumeSpeech=10; volumeVoN=10; Master / FX okay - seems to be clear. But what do CD / Speech / VoN mean? Sure, I get an idea, but I don't want to mess my own voice up without noticing. ;) I hope someone can explain these options. Thanks in advance!

Hello all! I'm interested in monitor and debug the DayZ Standalone: Firstly because I'm just curious and secondly in order to - possibly - increase performance and avoid crashes, as far as possible from my side. I already worked with some basic tools like hardware and network monitors and I'm experienced in the QA work. So don't hold back if you have any tips, workflows or applications that might be useful. Or just share your best practices! :) Cheers!

Hey everyone, I was on may way to more fps and wondered which launch options actually do work. There are many people and pages out there suggesting a lot, but at the end of the day I did not experienced any real improvements yet. (Using 0.58 stable right now.) There are for instance: -nosplash -> Does remove the Bohemia-logo at the start, but the time until I'm in the main menu of the game does not seem to be reduced (guess the brand is shown already while the game loads?) -cpuCount=x -> no effect -nopause -> no effect I could recognize while tabbing in/out My hardware is not up-to-date, but still in a good shape: i7 3770K, GTX 680 (2GB), 2x4 GB RAM. But maybe still to powerful to make a remarkable difference with the launch options alone? Please focus on the functionality of the launch options in this thread. - Do you have any experiences like that? - Do you know which launch options are available for the DayZ Standalone and actually do work? Cheers!
