The problem with dayz standalone, is that we didn't get the dayz standalone they said we would get at the start.

If every one used a bow, then the arrow sticking in your body would show the direction it came from. LOL Maybe Dean would lone BI his animator to do the bow for us. LOL

Haven't you heard bikes are off the game list now as they are too too hard to do, at least that's the last thing i have heard about bikes and bows.

You do need the moded map as the other online map don't show the moded parts

I remember a trench shovel in the old dayz standalone, i found them at the east airport in the good old days.

I was playing on a community server, and was well kitted out, then the server reset wile I was making a pit stop in RL. I logged back in and could pick up loot, But could not assess the my inventory or see the hot bar till I hit the ~ key, tried all we could think of to no avail, so she shot me in the head and saved my gear. I logged in and picked up my gear and all was fine till the server reset again, and I couldn't get to my inventory again at that point I logged out for the night. did I miss some thing or is it a bug? sable server 112

At first they said we would have parity with .62, Then they they said that .62 stuff was just flavor, and we would not get parity.

They did take the "flavor" out of dayz standalone.

I agree, The game lacks Flavor.

In my mind it was fine the way it was, they changed it because the hardcore boys said it was "abuse", what's funny is getting it changed back is a fat chance in hell.

I remember they fixed it a wile back so players wouldn't abuse it. What we have now is the fix.

Yes, But as flavor is too hard to do, I wonder if we will ever see it in game. as it is now it's flavorless.

It's too late for me, I'm 81and almost blind, I have 2060 hours in dayz, I started playing back in 2015, and like I said they removed the flavor that I played in the past. I play a bit once in a wile, But it's not the same flavor.

gratitude, gratitude, They removed the things from the game and dismissed them as flavor , well that flavor was how I played dayz and I can no longer play dayz the same as i did in the past. So I will save my gratitude for when they restore the flavor to dayz.

In the past I could make a bow and arrows in dayz, but now I can not make a bow and arrows in dayz, so to me your shadows thing is nit picking.
